This is incredible dude. I never played much of PSIII because it made my eyes and ears bleed, but the title screen music always stuck out to me, like they had their one good composer who knew how to use the YM2612 work on that track and then he got yanked away to another project so they grabbed like Wataru from marketing and had him make the rest of the soundtrack
I'll admit, "Wataru from marketing" made me crack a smile. As for the rest, I assure you that the whole soundtrack has been made by Izuho Numata and I personally think that except for 1-2 PSIII tracks, did nothing less than a masterpiece but it's perfectly ok if it wasn't your bag: different tastes make a more interesting world! Thanks for the good words, glad you loved the remix! It's an old, old one at that, I do so much better now!

Thats the problem PS3 was a good game, Even a Really good game for its time, but 2 and 4 were "the best genesis ever made" teir. Good looks terrible when compared to the best. An injustice since it was a good, just was in the shadow of titans.

The music was crap, a lot of the monster animations were crap, the magic system was crap, the graphics were crap and the dungeons were crap. A PS3 that looked and played as well as PS4 would have been awesome. The genesis was clearly capable of far better than PS3. Hell, the Master System's PS1 looked better than PS3.
Good choice of instruments. They really help the melody, which was kind of lost with all the beeping used in the game. I can imagine this in an anniversary soundtrack, TV series or a remake.

Loved it back then, looking forward to listening through your newer music!
I don't think that remixes should be compared to their originals on a better-worse scale because they don't aim to replace the original. Remixes are made because we want to praise and show our love for the originals. The goal of a remix is not to surpass or replace the original, but simply to look at it from another angle and say "I loved this so much, I wanted to make this". This is what I think.

The beat of destruction Shits on today's games by far, they certainly don't make tunes like this anymore. Legend of heroes for the pc engine cd, the music is excellent. Got a good question, if a particular team wanted to complete remake of this game, will you be willing to do the music portion of it? Curious.

Many People dont Like PS3 and While I think its the weakest game in the series It had some great music and Was overall a decent game
