I would forget scrapping, they take a truckload, get like 20 dollars, look what you find, the most awesome stuff, worth way more money
I agree! It seems like a lot of people like watching the scrappers but it’s just not something I want to do
Hey I liked that song I was jamming to it till you turned it off. Was it bothering you or to loud, if to loud just turn it down, it at least gives you some background music and music makes you happy.

I enjoy you talking and explaining to us. Thank you 💘
I love the Santa’s that you found. I collect Santa’s and snowmen and I loved hearing that your wife collects Santa’s too! You can find such nice ones now but I have to admit that finding them in the trash is so much better! Those look like really nice ones.
No , I like what you are doing saving things from being put in a dump.
Brand new to your channel. Love Texas. Wish we'd never left. I am SOO glad you have a go pro or whatever kind of camera. It's annoying watching channels where they're holding a camera with one hand and trying to pick up stuff.
You find enough good stuff to stock a store.
Linda Blackmore thanks for stopping by! Yes! The GoPro is the way to go!
I’ve thought about getting a small place to open a store!
Hey, love your channel, we live in the southwest corner of Washington State. We live on top of a mountain overlooking the mighty Columbia River.
Reba Sousa bet it’s a beautiful view! Thanks for checking out my channel!
I use to live on a bluff with the river below too girl! What a coincidence huh?!
Hi enjoy your utube like your clean shaved and that you wear gloves and shoes. Speak gentlemen I enjoy the whole show especially the day break when you show us all your findings in light
I love small vases and I see you passing them by.
Sorry
Awesome work! I support your work, caring, kindness generosity to others🙏❣️🙏🌹
I'm absolutely amazed at what people just toss...not making time to just donate or give to others that are in need. Thank you for ALL YOU DO ❣️👍🙏🌹
Hola Juan. Maria from Phoenix, Arizona. Blessings to you and family.
Big fan and fellow Latino (Cuban) from Rochester, NY...
My man why you leave so many bikes behind?
Btw one of the smartest things you can do is ALWAYS record each and every interaction you have with someone when you do a deal.
TRUST NO ONE.
Very smart.
👍🏼💯
Hey brother, thanks for watching. Back then when I recorded this, bikes where moving really slow. I couldn’t get anything for them. Now I pick almost all of them up!
Palm Bay, FL watching, you keep saving the trash one piece at a time.
Thanks for watching
Shout out from South Africa......big fan of your channel 👌👌
Thanks Shaheen!!! 💯

Been watching for over 6 months. Living in Memphis, TN.
Thank you
Hello this is Linda I live in Lexington Kentucky love watching you
Hi Linda! Thank you for watching
From Plattsburgh New York. Way northeast on Lake Champlain. Started watching y'all and haven't stopped. Love what y'all do and you make sure that you tie the bags back up❣😊
Thanks Mildred
Stand the things up and you will have more room don't lay them down ..
I think if you did scrap, do it for certain things. Personally right now I primarily cut cords along with grabbing rotors and other auto cast. With the cords it's pretty easy and I just stopped at a house last week that had 6 vacuums out( don't ask me why they stockpiled vacuums that don't work lol)
Last time I turned in some of my cords and I had 70 lbs and ended up getting about $30 something for it. Still have probably close to another 80 lbs and my attitude is that it's there on the curb anyway and doesn't take much effort to get them
Robert Walton yeah I guess you’re right. I don’t regret skipping on the scrap because there are so many scrappers here in Houston. I’ll consider it. Thanks for your input and thanks for watching.
@@TexanPicker listen to me scrap is good coper almeeum iron not much cop
I also collect pop tabs and donate to a friend for a good cause. It's alot of patiences taking off aluminum tabs n placing in a 5 gallon jug.
love the show watching u from Titusville pa
I wouldn’t scrap at all. I watch at least 10 or more scrappers on UA-cam and the prices are so low it’s almost a joke. Stick to picking and reselling, there’s a lot more money. Maybe sometime you could answer questions about the experience of your garage sale, what sold the most what didn’t sell and you’ll leave on the curb next time, when is your next garage sale, will it be in the fall and will you carry more holiday items for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas? When I watch the flea market especially in the northeast area for the scrappers on UA-cam it’s tools, tools, tools that sale, is it like that in your area? Any information you can pass on would be appreciated.
MeMe Cats I think you’re right. Picking to resell is the way to go.
My garage sell went very well. Everything has the potential to sell. Just need to be priced right. I sold everything from antiques and home decor to toys and video games. Clothing does well here in my area as does vintage toys and gaming. What I struggle with the most is home decor. It needs to be the right piece for the right person at the right price. I would still pick it up though because if all else fails it’ll go to Goodwill and they do well with home decor.
My next sale will probably be early fall if I can have one. My schedule is going to be really busy this coming fall and it may even put a hold on picking and making videos. Hopefully not too bad.
Love to watch u go picking love it love chris from Dallas. Texas
You are killing me take the Christmas stuff oh my
Wow more blessings "
Watch you from Greece.Nice things you find!!!!!!!Jalussia......
Irene 1943 hello !!! Thanks for watching!😀
D O N A T E the clothes
Elaine Tunnell I’ll do a better job of taking more to donate. I take a lot! I’d say 4 to 6 truckloads a year. But clothes are easy.
Hi love your show we can’t do this where Iam from so the next best thing is watching you from Townsville Queensland Australia
Well I’m so glad you can watch here on UA-cam. Thanks for choosing my videos!
Scrapping I don't think so to much work for little money I think, great job picking. Keep on trucking!!!!!! Love watching your videos you are my favorite so far fun watching I really enjoy
I. Am. Watching. From. New. Haven. Connecticut
Appreciate it
The best way to scrap and resell at the same time is to keep a empty bin in your truck with a magnet, only collect the money items copper, Brass and all insulated wire. Start with that, when i watch your vids i see a lot of those items. Extra cash your already there!
thanx for your awesome channel! grtz from Belgium.
Thank you!
I live in North Carolina and I love your videos :) Keep.up the good work
Thank you Lisa!
I'm watching from Marion, Indiana and I like your channel

You know if you simply keep a window down you won't have to open the door so often to put things inside and could avoid annoying the residents!
Hi from oklahoma love your channel
Yes they take cords that’s were the copper is if u only take cords that’s money u can save them in a barrel an when it’s full take it to the scrap yard
Keep doing what you do scraping takes a lot of hard dirty work to make money you seem to do ok
No to scrap. You'll make way more money reselling then you ever would with scrap.
SUZIE ARIZONA I agree!
Been showing friends and family your channel... I like how you do your videos... nice and calm - you give tips - and from watching videos from 2020 and 2021 you include good 🎶

Hi Juan, when do you sleep 💤 😴??)watching from Pinon, Arizona.
Haha when I can
Hey have you considered picking up the clothes and accessories and taking the to some place like Clothes Mentor or Plato’s closet? You’re leaving behind some top name brands in each episode. You can also sell tags off of Coach purses. If you’re picking in nice neighborhoods their clothes are going to be nice too.
I’ve taken some clothes to Platos closet before. But I’m in no way up to date with fashion. I feel like they’ve tried to rip me off before when I took a bunch of Miss Me jeans and the offered what I thought was really low. Now I usually just donate to this really non profit I really like. I know I don’t make anything, but if someone is gonna gain from my stuff , I’d rather it be them than Platos. I also have a couple people who are resellers that I’ve made huge bundle deals for.
@@TexanPicker I just hate it when I see you zipping through these $$$$ neighborhoods and leaving clothes behind! I know they don't sell well in yard sales though. I'm glad you found some way to keep them out of the landfills.
Hi Juan great finds 🎁🙏
Hey, what’s your name?
Copper is probably the most profitable. And bras and aluminium. I started to cut cord recently I felt od doing it you need to get a bit for it to be worth it . My dad is helping me with that he is even going to strip the ones that are worth doing to get the extra cash
Nice! Great job!
Watching from Hollywood
Thanks Judy
Hello from MS !! I’m so glad I came across your page. Love all the videos I’ve watched so far. I love finding things on the curbs too (now I live in the city). I’m trying to become a real estate agent so I hope to find more goodies soon. I saw you said your wife does that for a living 😊
Yes she’s been selling houses for a couple years now! She loves it! Thank you so much for checking out my channel! Glad you’re enjoying it.
Hola Juan...puedo comentar algo??? no es por maldad, porfavor............................but when u light with the flashlight, its so hard to see, cuz u just light right into the bags or bins, sometimes u have a diferent light, i don't know if its on ur head????? one can enjoy it a lot more...............Gracias.... mucha suerte siempre
No problem Pauline. I realized this, the video is old and I started using a head mount light and now use chest mount. Thank you for watching
Good job, hello from Maine
Hey, thanks!
Don't scrap It doesn't pay very well. You are saving more from the landfill with what you are doing and earns you the best money for your time
The small to medium size Sock Monkeys sell anywhere from $15.00 dollars to $20.00 dollars . The most expensive Sock Monkey sells for $189 dollars on Amazon because it's the size of a adult.

Hello! I want to visit Alabama one day and see a college game!
@@TexanPicker our whole family are big Alabama fans. I'm glad I found your channel, really enjoy watching, but I'm yelling "get that" lol!

Love. All your video's. From N.E Alabama
Thank you Linda
Do people ever complain about hearing loud music from your truck? Sometimes I ask the pickers to turn the radio down and they turn it up how do you feel about that
It’s not really loud. Keep notice that you really only hear it when I’m facing the truck. I use a mic that picks up stuff well.
Knowing u see all kinds of things in the garbage that peps just throws away & that they can just take there for other people who are in need of things its hard times for people who cant buy new things
Im from chicago and love the videos..
Like your videos
Thank you 😊
I personally don't think there's enough money in scrapping to make it worth it. I think reselling is definitely the way to go. It seems to be a trend.
I agree
Wen u have yard sales on things u can post ya yard sale info on line where & at so youll get more things sold or all sold from people who are distance away from you they do it like that here
I advertise on Craigslist, Facebook, and all the yard sale apps
Really like it ,from lawernce kansas

Thank you Ruth. This is an older video. I’ve made many changes since then. A lot of trial and error getting the right camera and light combo. It’s much better now
Christmas sells great on ebay
I think is what you enjoy doing maybe you should try it
I so love watching your videos...I so would love to do what you do, but am afraid that people would yell at me for going thru their trash, and make me leave....I so envy you
I’ve only had 1 person ask me to leave. And it wasn’t even his property! 😂
The non-working musical glass dome piece...you should have kept the glass dome part
Trash picking or Dumpster Diving is against the law in our town, and most of the ones close by.

Your light doesn’t seem to be bright enough tonight ..
It’s an older video before I upgraded my set up
Great channel. But I think you should wear work boots when going through trash. What if something falls on your feet.
I wear work boots for 12 hours at work. It gonna wear them all night too.
I ea enjoy your channel
Thank you
U get a tax rite off on things that u drop off at the Salvation Army if there called Salvation Army donation center
Yep I just made a trip to Salvation Army a couple days ago. About 10-12 bags of clothes and shoes
You do not get a tax write off unless you itemize. I do not have enough to itemize but still think you should donate. I donate what I can just because I can.
I just started watching your Channel and I am from Florida
Thanks for watching!
