@SEIfilms thanks, just did the best I could, its hard when the tripod and camera are in your way. thanks for watching and thanks for your gracious comment.
Amongst my favorite tutorials on the tubes. One of my favorite of yours for sure.
Have been a fan of yours for years Brandon, you and your gift are number one my friend.
I flippin LOVE watching you paint. AMAZING!!!
I showed this video to my husband who can't stay put and he was just immersed in how amazing it was. Now off to buy some spray paint so I can make him one
Spray painting was an unexpected and wonderful addition to my life, I owe it to your videos.
Regular Rustoleum is used here. The caps are the same as anyone would buy on the cans straight off of the shelf in the store. Brandon doesnt change his in this painting, if he ever does, and most Spray Artists of this nature don't. His posterboard looks to be 11x14, although you can use any size. Glossy posterboard is best, since it doesn't soak up the paint before it can be manipulated. In this case, mid to high grade posterboard with the glossy side up is best. The only trick to the mountains is the amount of paint used for the climate you live in and practice. I hope this explanation helps some of you out.
0 dislikes. Proof that god wants your tutorials on the web.
It's great how you are sharing all your secrets. That is very generous of you! and I am sure no one else will have exactly the same results as you because their talent will be their own.
You are a great teacher!
@UrDanc3r the trick is not to over smear the water and go straight across, just takes a little practice.glad you liked :)
@scatchntrance thank you. I will be uploading more tutorials. got a new one coming in a day or 2.
There's this guy right be my house in Clearwater Beach, FL. He's an amazing spray painter. One of the best I've ever seen.
@drummerjedediah yes there is, shake your cans for a few minutes each for best results, the paint wont be so watery this way. I didnt shake my white up very well and when I sprayed for the water, it just bled into the blue and didnt create the contrast I wanted.
@HsingG32 just comes naturally after doing this for so long. thanks for watching.
@Darkbebop Thanks, I filmed another video today of a black and white painting. I will be posting that tutorial in a day or so.
@229ThatGuy youre welcome, the next one will be a black and white nature painting with a big tree and mountains.
THank you! It was either you read my comment or you just felt like makin a tutorial but you have answered my question in regards of how you make your rocks/mountains. THANKS! Spray paint art is GREAT
i truly envy the skill of all of these awesome spray artists i see on UA-cam, the things they do look so simple but after having a go myself i see how much effort they really must have put into learning the skill.
My day has been made. I'm glad you're doing tutorials. Thank you...
Beautiful work Brandon! I love the space paintings.
@Tsalagi74 you are welcome, thanks for watching
@NEESh808 I used a ball point pen. thank you for watching, more coming soon.
my own self-esteem as a spray artist has dropped by a factor of ten, but that doesn't change how much i LOVE your work!! thank you so much for uploading!!!!
@unlucky13tattoo glad you are still watching my vids. I appreciate it.
Oh wow, please do more of these tutorials! They're so amazing!
@notemobutfeelemo thanks, it all depends on how dry and warm the weather is and how much paint u you used to make it. this one probably dried to the touch in 10-30 minutes. takes a day or so to be fully cured.
You are amazing!!! this is fantastic and you make it easy to make things with out spending a fortune!
Awesome video definitely gonna get into this style of painting, I love all your great work
WOW! Awesome painting!
@gadberry88 youll be ok, remember that cheap paint has less pigment and more thinner or whatever it is. makes it harder to layer the colors.
@BIGECRUNCH look around for a lid from something, or check a second hand store. those tin containers are cheap there and the lids from those are the best. also stove top covers works great. the sell them at wallmart.
@ONEpocketKID21 yeah, your right. been busy but will be adding more soon.
@lickmytao thank you, very glad you liked it.
I really apreciate that you took the time to teach us your techniques... thanks man!!! greatings from Argentina!
@Luckystomp1 thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
@JanGBlubb its poster board (2 words) if that helps, but I don't know sorry. if you paint your canvas with glossy white house paint and let it dry, you'll get that glossy surface you'll need to make these paintings better.
@CurlyAce100 Thanks, yes I will be working to put more new videos on my channel.
great job man...always a pleasure to watch your videos
I love the way you paint, you make it look so easy but I'm sure it is harder speciallly if some one try it for the first time. I really enjoyed whaching you paint.Congratulations. Thanks.
Alvaro Lopez in Colombia.
very cool...i am an acrylic painting artist...i am blown away by the spray paint art i have seen, absolutely beautiful. looks easier than it is i'm sure but i am def. going to reinvest and give it a try. I live in a town that takes pride in their artist so I hope they will enjoy something new.
@clydefav thanks, glad you enjoyed!
This came out excellent for me,and it being my first pyramid - erased th uncertainty. Thankyou for that. For taking the time to explain, and taking the time to give us a good look at the finish! Alot of folks on here really miss the mark not letting us have a good gender! Appreciate it! How bout more fasties like this... Im definatly up for a front row seat!
Ginger
You're so awesome! I love your work!
EXCELLENT!! I appreciate the 'thinking out loud' aspect of the tutorial. The fact that you mention 'it doesnt take much paint' in the beginning, is probly a huge lesson for some. When i first started, my planets were goopy messes of paint due to a heavy hand. So thank you Brandon, for sharing your talents and skills with us. I would like to see some pallet knife techniques, trees, and the think process that goes with B&W paintings. Give me those and maybe someday youll be watching MY videos ;)
@CountessZHM I appreciate your comment.
Dude, I love your videos so much.
Amazing, amazing, and well, amazing!
@bjababy1 Thank you, be sure to paint on the glossy side of the poster board. have fun! :)
I did airbrushing professionally for about 5 years.
This reminds so much of that.

Amazing!! truly talented!
That looks absolutely stunning! I particularly love the calmness of the water and the effects you make on the planet by putting the paper over it. It's really amazing~ =D

@Coatnaynay that's very nice, thank you! hope you can use this to make something nice.
@lmnopqrstuv try using less paint for the mountains and the will looks better, the water just takes practice smearing it straight across. ill be doing more tutorials soon.
I would really like to get into this! Thanks for posting a great tutorial to get started with practice ;)
This is so amazing! :D You are such an inspiration!
@Bobywoodwarrior with a digital camera, i set the painting just inside my door so the light from outside lights it up but I don't get glare.

@JaxTheGinger between 10 and 30 minutes probably it depends on the weather and how much paint is used.
nice man cant wait to see more
Thats amazing dude!
@emilyellen100 thank you, I hope you have a blast painting!
move the can faster as you spray so the layer is thinner. maybe your paint is cold, warm it up before you paint
