As a brand new player on SCR, I also agree to obey the speed limits, and drive with as smooth accelerations and brakes as possible, to make the drive as realistic as possible. However, it always results in delays.
@novaialm2832 I actually thinks br hv a timetable that would change with how your train is running, however br becomes a bit boring if u play a lot so I've quitted it now
As a view of a dispatcher of SCR, the express ALWAYS has a headcode of 9Xxx meanwhile the airlink can have a 1Xxx, 2Xxx or 3Xxx and the priority is first express, airlink, connect and waterline and by headcode is 9, then 1, 2 and for the last 3Xxx
so I did the math and Express is faster by taking the averages so the average speed of an airline is like 100.98mph but the average speed of a Express is 125 mph
I don't know if the test drive is fair as its not really which operator gets to that station first but rather the driver, who might slow down to early or is too quick on purpose. Good video though!
There should be a 20 mph speed restriction around that whole beechley triangle area and a 45 mph speed restriction driving around Morgantown and through all those express track and airlink switches there.
Correction:
At 2:19, the Airlink shuttle has a top speed of *90mph* , not 75. Apologies for any confusion.
you missed your chance to say vsauce's "or is it?" at the beginning of the video
@@traindrifterzlol
Still slow
Do this again in the 2.0 version instead and also change the trains to a class 397
At the airport zone, waterline is actually the fastest oporator to reach t2 as it skips A.C. and A.P. as waterline stops at A.W.
And skips Benton bridge instead using csp
Bcuz it skips the stop not faster in speed mostly
The high pitched horn i cant 😂
@@D4UBSwhy
my opinion is that so trains can hear that an express is coming
The only person on SCR to agree to use speed limits

@@KoichiFirst8092it’s either realism, or actually efficient grinding. Choose one.
I would go on the limit if the timetsbles were more realistic, bcs even when i am at full speed I arrive late, imagine folowing the speed limits
Not like br that has good timetables and most of the time u actually arrive earlier

2:13 The Class 397/1 now joins the class 802 at 125mph
But that still only 2

AirLink can’t have 2XXX headcode
no 2Xxx on airlink.
Express has 1XXX headcodes broooo
any operator can have a 3XXX headcode
@@RoldenLisn’t 3xxx specially monitored empty coaching stock? It is IRL.
The way TTS says StepFORD lol
Very good video, earned a like and possibly a sub after I've watched some of your other videos!
great vid byte! Love the editing!
ty :)
It is to me! It's just like traveling in from a from the city far, far away in the high-speed train!
so I did the math and Express is faster by taking the averages so the average speed of an airline is like 100.98mph but the average speed of a Express is 125 mph
damn you're dedicated!
ACTUALLY retry in SCR 2.0 is a good idea
Great video

No problem

I feel like the Leighton area should be 40 speed cuz yea
It depends on what lines are 125mph
Why do they look the same?
2:13 Also, the class 397 can run 125 mph
istg bruh 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
this video was made *before* the release of the class 397. i cant predict the future.
Was the Version 1.10.8?
Stepford express is just high speed rail with less stops
Is airlink semi-fast
I love StepFORD express!
Not True. Airlink Stops at 12 Stations while Express stops at 15 Stations since this is V1.10.11
Yes but between Stepford central and Morganstown, express doesn't stop at Stepford east and Berrily while airlink does.
Proof why AirLink is fast:
Stepford Central - Airport Central route
Stepford Central - Terminal 2 (via Terminal 1)
wow no shit also express is still faster
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

In april fools Stepford express is not the fastest
