Nate is about as great as it gets . Bravo STAB for shining a light on the practices that he uses to stay stoked and connected to his fam and community .
I'm happy to see Nathan moving into this phase of life. I remember surfing with he and Christian for a few summers in front of his house at Capo Beach. It was before things really took off for them. He was always a cool cat.
There is a real movement following older athletes, which is inspiring for us 40+ year olds. I don’t know where the time has gone but I definitely want to keep surfing at my best level for a long time to come. Great content.
I admire what you do and feel I’m on the right track because I see you do them too. One day more physically and the other day more spiritual. Makes me feel good.
Time to shave the head Nate (once a week). You don't even have to use a razor, you can use a no-guard buzzer. Consider it a discipline. I also recommend shaving body hair the same way (once a month). And you should keep your face clean shaved (once every 3 days). Consider it a discipline. Just looking out...
@@ba7260 He made a video about taking care of his body but his appearance looks like a creepy, drunken homeless person. I'm honestly just trying to be honest with him and help him out just like he's trying to help us out. You gotta take care of yourself; diet, exercise, appearance, happiness, obligations, and duty to serve your loved ones. When you're a father especially, you need to be presentable so that your children can look up to you.
@@turbowtime9611 dude what are you smoking. Being a good parent and good person has NOTHING to do with how you look. The most important part is being good. That matters much more than looks. Get tf outta here.

A voice of recovery, a voice of wisdom, a voice of experience, better dad, a better way to live!
These subjects are exactly what helped me to start surfing at 40... surfing itself opened me up to a whole new world !
Cool. Keep it up.

This guy is a legend, always one of my favorite surfer since I was 16 year old.
More please!! Epic content and Nate’s a humble legend
Cool to see Nathan's journey throughout the years and see him here as a master. Not much inspires me on UA-cam, but this pumped me up.

Eventually were brought to our knees to do another way
Breath work has helped me in so many ways, like Nate it's given me more energy to be a better parent. That's massive 👍
I'm pretty new to surf culture but I really like Nate and the whole Fletcher brood.
Wise words from the boss!!! Nathan is a great ambassador for the sport of surfing, YEW! Greetings from here in Vietnam, yes we surf everyday here!

I’ll be sure to do all that after a 12 hour work day
So much mindfulness he put his shirt on inside out
He’s a good dude. Big respect ✊
(The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom - Blake…) Glad to see you’re doing well, Nate!
Yea You!!! Legendary!

The Masters of their Craft all practice intensive breathe work.
this dude is so legendary
For anyone, but especially for those who went full nuclear and struggle to move on, meditation, yoga and the Gita are pretty good options.
Lovely.
Great insight! Gotta wonder what Nate’s resting heart rate is.
I wish you guys could make a channel purely dedicated to the world thru fletchs eyes
🙏
Does anybody know who the first couple songs are by in this video?
Yoga!
Really?
Breathing, meditation - exelent!
Opening the kundalini spirit- you may want to research that part first
I'm pretty sure Nathan died at Chopes and his earthly frame was then inhabited by an alien life-form, possibly reptillion in nature. Or not.
must be nice not having too work
2.27 :O
Pretty sure he smoke cigarettes like his bro.
Hopefully not
