It is based on a Russian folksong about a young betrothed orphan girl who goes to the river, the boundary between the living and the dead, to ask her deceased mother's blessing for her marriage. ua-cam.com/video/I0sliHsjEr4/v-deo.html Ironically, Diana herself was an orphan who was abused and abandoned by her alcoholic mother. Because of this beginning, her speech was very undeveloped and she was given singing lessons to help improve her speech. Her talent was quickly recognized and the rest is history.

Thank you for your time and comments for Diana. Good research on your part. As others have stated Diana sings in many different languages. Diana sings in her native Russian also English, French, Spanish, Ukrainian, Arabic and some German. As an artist Diana sings, acts, dances, draws, paints, plays piano and ukulele. One very talented young woman. My favorite cover of hers is Derniere Danse by Indila, the long version. My favorite original song is Into The Sky. Both are vocal Masterpieces. It is based on a Russian folksong about a young betrothed orphan girl who goes to the river, the boundary between the living and the dead, to ask her deceased mother's blessing for her marriage.

Ironically, Diana herself was an orphan who was abused and abandoned by her alcoholic mother. Because of this beginning, her speech was very undeveloped and she was given singing lessons to help improve her speech. Her talent was quickly recognized and the rest is history.

Well, finally you made a reaction to Diana! A large number of views suggests that there are never many reactions to Diana, but I want more and more new reactions. Rechenka, Human, Its Man's World and others deserve no less attention than the song Wicked Game.
Correct pronunciation. DIANA [Diː ˈa: na:] as Dee-ana. ANKUDINOVA [A:ŋ kuː 'di: nɔː va:]
Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human.
First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich.
Second, she was born with a spectacular larynx. It's been called the Eighth Wonder of the World.
Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below)

The break of voice made Diana’s voice even darker and deeper. She has mastered this time very professionally and has worked hard to bring back the lost high notes and has expanded her vocal range, currently from C3 to D6.
