Awesome Tutorial. I do have a problem with the stringer though. The distance between the stringer and front spar at the root section and tip section are equal. the distance at the tip should be lesser i.e. If I am to use a number of stringers, they should all contain at both ends. Tutorial was of Great help. THANKS for taking the time to share.
Hi, thanks for great videos. Can you upload a video of how to do fairings? For instance with wing against main body. I have had a hard time creating it and I haven't found so much instructions about it.
Hi there. Yes I'm trying to get to my next series (lots going on at the moment so I haven't found time. Fairings are particularly difficult so ill see if I can put on up in the near future. I've recently done a full model of an aircraft so maybe I will put a mini series on how to do this!
Hi great video! Do you mind sharing a standard document for creating the fan blade profile? I see that here you are creating the profile freestyle. But I need a to create it from a standard document. Appreciate the help.
Hi there, thanks a lot your video helped me with some questions I had about wingtips and even a problem I've been having about linked parts that you so kindly explained in the video (using the replace option). I was wondering, in the very tip of the wing, you put a very tiny aerofoil, but did it finished flat? could a dome be created? I haven't quite get around this...
When I try to import an aerofoil into CATIA from Excel, it shows an error stating that "object does not support this property or method". Is there any solution to it?
This is just a flat prop yes, to add an aerofoil, You should be able to use this surface as a reference for making it into an aerofoil but if i'm honest i haven't had to do that before so i am unfamiliar with the exact technique.
hi, great tutorial, im new with catia i have 1 newbie question, there is a hole (airfoil shape hole) on the tip of the winglet, how to make it as a solid? thanks
Hi there. two ways you can do it: 1. use the fill option in the solid workbench - this will produce a completely solid part which might not be ideal but it should close off planar(flat) open edges. 2. use the fill in the 2D surfacing using a passing point. This might be tricky getting right profile but then you can join everything up and use the thickness operation in the solid workbench. watch this space more coming soon!
Hiya, ill try and get on to doing the fuselage. im currently working on my next series which is detailed design but im currently pondering how much technical/mathematical stuff in my videos and how. stay tuned!
Fantastic video. You have a true gift explaining the complex and making it able to be understood. Very helpful!
Hi, I did the same as you, but at my wing tip, there is a hole, is there anyway to close the hoel
Please make a video on Fuselage design in CATIA

Hello can you do video on fuselage design by surface modeling
Hi great video!

Can you explain how to make it solid part

can you explain about the creation of complete wing with dihedral, wing twist and blended winglet??
Hi There,
I did a video on how to do the primary wing with dihedral here: ua-cam.com/video/vaMsdtgEXvs/v-deo.html
does this answer your question?
how to draw racked winglet
When I try to import an aerofoil into CATIA from Excel, it shows an error stating that "object does not support this property or method". Is there any solution to it?
It happens if you have catia product desing window opened. You need to have a part design window.
how to add some airfoil in the propeller??
is that just flat plat prop??
thanks

thank you very much. The way you work with CAD reminds me a litte of Bob Ross painting landscapes :D
Haha, thank you! I'm going to perm my hair now you've said that! :)
where is the wing tip tutorial, i need it. i just want the normal one without winglet
like the ones in p47 thunderbolt
continue please!
thank you for your tutorial
THX! please make a Nose Radome & fuselage of the airplane

+TheCADMan Do you also publish the next "small" masterpiece? Would be really nice :-)
