What makes a throw up isn’t it being round the quickness or having similar shapes. A throw up is quick and easy due to the lack of negative space. What makes a throw up is proper use of negative space management, starting off its good to have similar letters, with similar widths heights and baselines. Letter weight and line weight also play a major role in a throw up. Cutting deeper into your letter for instance with SEEN n, the higher you cut in with the first leg the more defined the letter structure becomes. Utilizing negative space management while maintaining your letter structure is what is most crucial in your throw up. You don’t NEED to have the same tops and bottoms but your throw does need to flow well.
