- Cowboy Bebop Panel held at the Anime USA 2015 (AUSA) anime convention in Washington, DC on October 31, 2015 (aka Halloween). All of the main English Voice Actors were in attendance which included Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Julia, ADR Director), Melissa Fahn (Edward), Wendee Lee (Faye Valentine), Beau Billingslea (Jet Black), and Steve Blum (Spike Spiegel). They started off by doing a script reading of episode 11, "Toys in the Attic". This was followed by a short Q&A session.

The voice actor for Ed is so entertaining and hilarious!!
Her Sister-In-Law is the Voice Actress for Kamiya Karou on Rurouni Kenshin! Dorothy Elias Melendez-Fahn. Melissa's Older Brother is Steven Fahn, he's also a voice actor.

Rurouni Kenshin had a bunch of VAs that were in Cowboy Bebop though..Heck, Spike and Faye's VA even voice the main antagonist and his GF (and Jet voices a few different chars in Kenshin, at one point you even had Spike/Faye/Jechts VAs in the same room, except they're all on the "bad guys" team

Djent Zombie ye the creators say you have to watch bebop in english dub and i’m pretty sure all the english voice actors got some award or something.
Oh God they're all so exact. I expected that from Steve, Wendee, and Beau, but GEEZ Melissa was able to INSTANTLY reassume being Ed at full Ed-ness without missing a beat.
All four of them launched to fame from the dub.
I know. She kinda threw them off-track.

Damn it that was so damn epic once Jets voice hit it was like wow theyre really doing this. Top series of all time for me.

That was fantastic! I hope this cast knows how truly adored and beloved they are by us fans. Toys in the Attic is one of my favs as well. All of them floating around to Waltz of the Flowers at the end. So perfect.

This was the episode that introduced me to Bebop. Such a great episode. Totally get that "Alien" movie feel. Trapped on a boat in space with a mysterious creature taking people out one by one.
this episode was great and *really* disturbing creepy when he opened the fridge, it was like a giant spore fungus monster that had taken over the lobster and mutated, reminded me of Lavos from Chrono trigger

If someone ever tried to mug Melissa Fahn in a dark alley, all she'd have to do is Ed's giggle and any mugger would be like, "Nah, fuck THAT, I'm out!"

If anyone asked me what Cowboy Bebop is about, I think Toys In The Attic really defines the whole series. Show them this first.
Ikr, I put the show on to watch with some friends and foolishly chose to play the much slower paced episode 1, they got bored quickly those philistines
I think they need to be interested in the characters before this episode. Otherwise it’s too slow and they don’t care. Ballad of the Fallen Angels is cinematic and beautiful. That will always make people interested.

It’s the episode that my friend showed me to get me into it. It’s spectacular in terms of art, setting, music etc. It’s still probably my favorite episode of the series.
I wonder if the cast were like this when they were first recording...

@@ilmu011 Haha yeah, it is crazy that in 2024, we're 26 years away and closer to 30 now than 17 but fr, twas only barely half that claim lol. Still this and 2004's Samurai Champloo just totally defined some points in history. Can't believe THAT one is 20 years old this spring. Gonna have to rewatch it once more then.
Steve Bloom is awesome, every show I've seen him in he does great, and his voice is distinctive yet also not notably so, (I think it's having the "midwest" accent or what they call no accent like me) so he can easily play the hero, villain, a bit part, a supporting role, huge range of inflection and so deadpan at times. Great to see all you guys doing this reading. Thank you!

It’s like I could visualize the entire episode again. I can’t help but say I teared up a bit when I saw this. Reliving my childhood like this. Thank you Cowboy Bebop cast for making this gem for us.

One of the anime’s where I would argue the dub is on par if not better then the sub
ZorooarK because it is better then the sub. Every critics and fans can agree the dub is superior. Even dub haters admit the dub is better.
the creators say you have to watch it in english. all the voice actors got some award for it too if i’m not wrong.

i always thought that Purple Heart (Hyperdimension Neptunia) would be Meliss Faghns natural voice but it turns out it's regular Neptunes (AKA Nep-Nep) Wendee Lee did White Heart/Blanc in Hyperdimension Neptunia. you can hear more White Heart in her natural voice. she puts a more soft tone in it when she does Blanc.
