Great video! Things like Rexaura and the Loptous Sword definitely seem like AI glitches the player can take advantage of, so it’s really cool seeing how people can get their hands on them
The Tathlum Bow, both AM runs cleared most the map and was omw to fight Cordellia when the sniper spawned. Never stood on any specific tile. I assumed he appeared after a certin number of turns or after a certain number of enemys are killed.
Has it been considered that the Rexaura bishop unequips his weapon while using an Elixir as to not lose speed unnecessarily when he can't attack anyway? Kinda like how the 19x boss becomes harder to double when Kishuna is on the map.
I know Bishops will unequip Tomes if they use a staff, so I feel some code for that class tells them to unequip their weapon if they use any item in their inventory that wasn't that weapon. Or perhaps that enemy bishop explicitly unequips it so the player can steal
Your question about the AI of the Rexaura, to my knowledge, enemy bishops have set base default weapon type that being staves. When said bishop uses the elixir, the AI reverts to using its base default weapon type. More testing will need to be done to confirm this.
This is quite a well-made video, and I can tell you put a lot of work into it. I've heard of some of them before- the Goddess Staff from Awakening(I think I actually managed to obtain it thanks to the clues) the Dracoshield from SoV, the White Dragon Scarf and Tathlum Bow from Three Houses, but it's amazing that many of these items are so rare and so hard to obtain.
I remember that I got Luna on my first playthrough of echoes. Then I found out how rare they were, and I went back to Thabes to see if I could get another one, and after many many trips through the dungeon I got... another Luna
4:18 a little trick is to kill his entire unit but not him, he will activate a "return to castle to get reinforcements" AI, have a person stand in the front of the castle, and go up to Luthecia
You can get Sol, Astra, and Luna in Echoes by an alternative method with drop rates that are just as low. You have a chance to get them by breaking pots and crates in the lower floors of the Thabes Labyrinth in certain rooms (I think floors 8 and 9, but I'm not sure). Last I checked, this is the method listed on Serenes Forrest.
Hidden items are a pain to find, so going through the trouble of finding all the hidden/obscure/lost items must have been an even bigger one. 1 note though. On the Sephiran recruitment criteria for the Ashera staff, I believe you also need to have Ike engage but not defeat the Black Knight in Part 3.
Getting a Firestone in FE6 in the Brenya chapter. Requires getting one of your own thieves berserked and the glitch allows the thief to steal a Firestone from the manakete and survive the other enemies surrounding it.

Oh man! I didn’t realize the white dragon scarf was so rare. I always save flayn the first week so I thought it was given because I got the little support points during the cutscene after you rescue flayn.
couple small corrections: - in the route where you fight Conomor in chapter 16, you can't recruit him, so killing him is fine, although stealing is just easier - Nasir doesn't really face physical attacks besides a couple of Ashera's AoE attacks, so he's fine
You need to steal it since enemies don't drop items in Thracia when killed. I guess you could also capture him, but that'd be a waste of a sleep staff.
also in regards to FE the dancers holding the master seal and warp staff will still appear even if you capture and realise a dancer, you just can't kill them.
16:50 I'd like to think that somewhere there is a discord server/serenes forest thread/somewhere else where people still share fates my castle codes for this very purpose. Who knows, maybe it's out there.
Super cool video. I remember getting the Elysian Whips in FE11 back when it was new. Also I'm pretty sure I've stolen Bolting tomes in FE10 at some point, as I've played that game to death and I actually enjoyed training Heather very often.
Clearly mystitain that owain uses is the hardest weapon to get. It's so legendary that only owain is allowed to use it. Fates and echoes the amiboo weapons are technically hard to get as you need the amiboo to use them and Ike is super unique being another 2 range swords that isn't nerfed like ryouma and xander. Shadow dragon would say weaker falchion as you have to kill tiki and fail plus destory your army to get the other ending as it's harder to fail but still win then just win in general.
Even rarer is the replica amiibo weapons that you can only get from having one of the amiibo characters man your armory. Not only would you not think this would be possible as no other bonus units in the game can man shops, but it’s also a random chance for them to do this meaning in larger armies such as Revelations the odds are against you to run into it naturally. This can be mitigated using accessories though.
@@BanltBandit I managed to get the replica Weapons easily by playing the amiboo ealry game but yeah and technically the fates system all has legendary weapons as each person gets a special one Honestly wish the echoes amiboo were playable
@@ivanbluecool Agree but the Echoes Amiibo usage is still way better than Three Houses. All the fire Emblem amiibos give you is generic items and a song to play in auxiliary battles.
@@lucifermorningstar8562 I don't know why the amiboo system gets worse as time goes on. Awakening had a pre amiboo system in game but spotpass and the card system had unique units like Walhart tiki and Marth being unique units. Fates had the best system giving the amiboo some Character and allow them to be used in your army. That's amazing as that gives you 4 special classes weapons and units. Sure buying the amiboo is basically dlc but it works for mutiple games like codename steam where robin and Lucina are broken units. Echoes meanwhile sucks as it's like 7 unique units weapons models and designs but useless as it's a waste of time and energy. That would have been amazing to have those 7 in echoes as playable units.
Really interesting video , I can't imagine how much work this took to make! Personally I only knew about the vague katti so I learned a lot through this!
Good video, but there is a problem with this line: 5:15 "Or just kill him if you don't plan on recruitment him." FE5 doesn't have drops. You have to capture him or (as you said) steal it. Capturing him requires sleeping him, which I think should've been included. Anyway, Conomore also can't be recruited on that route. He can only be recruited if you go B route (with the forest map), and he doesn't appear as an enemy in that route (instead, Amalda, the A route exclusive character, appears).
Hey bro, I'm always watching your content but here I am leaving a comment for the algorithm! You did great, the video was very informative and I probably didn't know about at least half of these weapons, LOL. Incredible job!!
Not mentioned in the video but there is also two ways to get venin weapons but only two of them without venomstone or the pagan altar statue. Anna's paralogue where one warrior has a Venin Axe and One paladin has a Venin Lance. The other way is when you go to the scrap heap in abyss, and by chance you made find a Venin weapon of some kind but it may be either slightly used or completely broken. You also can obtain the Venin Axe in cindered shadows by just visiting the scrap heap at the beginning completely unused unlike in the normal game. Two other weapons that can be obtained through these ways are the devil axe and devil sword. Both weapons can be obtained via the pagan altar or in separate paralogues. For the devil sword in Lorenz's paralogue defeat a thief that has the weapon equipped and you will obtain it. For the devil ax, in Dorothea and Ingrid's paralogue defeat the brigand who has it. Despite all of this the weapons I mentioned aren't really that good as the vein weapons while accurate don't really do much damage and the devil weapons are strong, they aren't very accurate and you lose ten HP each time you use one so they are pretty bad. The axe of ukonsovera and cursed ashiya sword can only be obtained in reunion chapter (Making it impossible in crimson flower) by opening the two chests on the farthest side of the map. Another rare weapon is the sword of moralta, another blue lions exclusive weapon by having Byleth talk to Rodrigue in the valley of torment chapter. The fourth weapon that's also difficult to obtain is the rapier, which is carried by a enemy sniper in Hanneman and Manuela's chapter or again can be picked up in the scrap heap or from the pagan altar. These four weapons are rare and are really good but to fully use them you would have to have Felix and Lorenz (or Lysithea for some reason) in a rank of swords and axes. It's easy for Felix but his weapon is exclusive to blue lions. For the axe while obtainable in three of the four routes can be a chore to grind Lorenz or Lysithea to have them reach A rank in axes if you're not doing new game+ with someone who is good with axes and without the Gloucester crest sign. So while these weapons may not be as hard to obtain, getting to be able to use them probably will be a chore in base game.
The Tathlum bow is so funny to me. I was one of those people who just so happened to be making an archer Mercedes in my first playthrough, and I stumbled across that bow, and it spurred me to train her more than anyone else lol.
Honorable mention for Awakening The Supreme Emblem is a pain to get and the perfect completion award. You can get 2 of them through normal means in your playthough. The first way to get one is by maxing out your renown, and claiming it as your final renown gift. The second way to get one is by beating the secret hard mode of the DLC map Apotheosis. Over the past year, as an on again/off again project, I did a deathless run of Lunatic where from the beginning, I was planning out how I would be Apotheosis. Very fun to do, very challenging map to beat deathless. Took over 100 hours. I might have only found it fun because it’s my favorite game of all time as well
Side note. I also only used Awakening characters. No ejenjar units. I did grind dlc maps and summoned spotpass characters for items tho (mainly Celica’s gale)
Doing my bit to help Ghast reap the benefits of his time put into this video. Really interesting video, sir. I’ll be sure to go try to find some of these items whenever I play these games in future!
for 3 houses, I'd like to give an honorable mention to the Opera company Volunteers battalion. Where in order to get it, you needed to place Manuela or Dorothea in a specific spot in chapter 18 of Silver Snow, 19 of Verdant Wind, or 21 of Azure moon.
I love these types of videos as well as the support science, a couple months ago I tried to legitimately get the Battle Seal and Visitation Seal but then realized if I'm the only doing it'd take an ungodly amount of hours. These items and Bond Units are basically not accessible in 2021 Fates
The Goddess Staff and Mystltain, (forgot how to spell it, it's been a while,) were fun to get. I remember noticing the difference in spelling between the sword Owain got, and the one he was talking about.
I'm really hoping we get one soon. Part of me wants to have 3 per system. Part of me doesn't want another Fates to happen. Most of me just wants more Fire Emblem.
@@JR384 I actually quite liked Fates, it just felt quite unbalanced depending on which route you took. I would’ve rather any route been made easier or harder, rather than Birthright being the “easy” route.
@@maximeminassian6002 the fe style gameplay and skill systems is like 9/10, but monastery is like 6/10 and story is like 4/10. Itd be nice to get a new fe game where the story is compelling and finished
Best luck I ever had was getting the Shooting Star lance from a summoned gargoyle on-video during my Gaiden Let's Play before Echoes came out. Sadly nobody watched that series, and those who did didn't realize just how lucky I had gotten. I eventually also got all 3 Sol Luna and Astra in Echoes just to complete my medal collection. Took probably a couple dozen runs of Thabes to get.
Well, I'm glad I don't particularly want any of the weapons you mentioned in Three Houses. I would have been pretty bummed when I realized only Mercedes could really use the bow.
You can get Renown in Fates by yourself. You can visit old castles still and gaining for both Visitation and Battling can be done of your own will. I forget the exact things the wiki listed but I believe you can get 4 visitation or 3 battle points in a single trip to another castle, which still means over 2000 trips
Your editing and research is such high quality, of *course* I had to leave a like and comment~ It's very much appreciated how much work you put in, and thanks for enlightening me about those weapons~ I was totally unaware of many of them and some of the hoops you have to jump through are crazy! Very impressed by your pronunciation of Xavier. Most people say it like Charles Xavier from X-Men, by saying the X like Ix-Zavier. It's rare i hear people say it right.
this was very interesting to watch, i honestly never knew what the mario kart double dash bonus disc even do, when my mom bought MK double dash it was supposed to include the bonus disc and neither of us knew what it was supposed to do so we declined it, FE awakening was the first fire emblem game ive ever played anyway so i dont think it wouldve mattered anyway since i already sold my gba and gamecube long time ago, im glad to learn things from you that i never knew about so heres a like from me, you totally earned it^^
It's worth mentioning that the Mine Glitch in FE7: Blazing Sword is also the only way to obtain Poison weapons. They're more plentiful and less useful than Iron weapons but they're obtained the same way as the Vaida Uber Spear.
This is one of the first times I comment in one of your videos and I am very glad to be able to tell you how great your videos are, they truly hold a special place in my heart, as always, keep up the amazing work! 🙌
There's one extremely vague hint in FE9 about "figures in the northeast" (where Stefan is recruited) during the base conversation before the chapter. But I didn't realize it was a hint until multiple playthroughs in, after having recruited Stefan multiple times
Had no idea about Rexaura ! I always wanted that S rank weapon ToT. What the other S rank tomes that are exclusive to japan's version of Path of Radiance ? Anyway, nice video, thank you so much !
I have gotten the Talathum Bow rather consistently in my play throughs of Three Houses so I knew it existed, but now I kind of want to hack my copy of Echoes to get the Seven Sword and the Eleven Sheild for fits and giggles.
Second playthrough, on the last battle before reaching Archanea in Echoes I managed to get a Rusted Bow that became the Luna Bow, now I just need the Astra Sword and the Sol Lance
Hey I remember getting one of those level down items in the GBA games and wondering "why tf would I want this?" LOL P.S. I was messing with a gameshark to see what all could be attained
Was surprised not to see a mention of 3H's Dried Vegetables, which can only be obtained by harvesting one of a few specific seed types (Vegetable Seeds, Northern Fodlan Seeds, or Nordsalat Seeds) at the *lowest* possible yield level. And they can appear as one of the randomly-selected requirements for the lategame Supply Run quests, which lead to a lot of confused players early on before gardening data was more well-known! (There's also the Ailell Grass, which requires max-yield Nordsalat Seeds or Angelica Seeds and doesn't have a cooking recipe to hint at its existence like its counterpart Zanado Treasure Fruit, but I figure that one isn't quite as bad since the average player is much more likely to aim for a high yield value than for low.)
Actually found Iote's shield in B2 by accident. Though a much rarer item in book 2 is a silver axe in the southern mountains on part 1 of the final chapter.
A couple I actually knew about for once - Vaida's spear in FE7, and Stefan in RD. Always thought that holding onto the Spheres in Shadow Dragon was cool (and hard to do without Gharnef yeeting you, especially on higher difficulties), though technically not that rare.
I knew about the Double Dash demo, but not the fact that you go to FE heaven and Elimine herself gives you items, I love detail like that. Love the content, always a joy to watch the latest upload.

@@BanltBandit I managed to get the replica Weapons easily by playing the amiboo ealry game but yeah and technically the fates system all has legendary weapons as each person gets a special one
Honestly wish the echoes amiboo were playable
@@BanltBandit isn't their an accessory that boosts shop odds?
I got Astra on my first run of SoV.
No DLCs.
Man that was lucky-
0:36 Incredible and subtle pun 👏
Good video, but there is a problem with this line:
5:15 "Or just kill him if you don't plan on recruitment him."
FE5 doesn't have drops.
The 7-Eleven collaboration never stops baffling me no matter how many times I hear it
9:13
I had that demo disc when i was young.
Hooked me into f-zero
Imagine working at 7/11 and a guy comes in asking for a sword and shield
I can see the hard work in motion. Some of these weapons I didn’t know even existed and probably if it weren’t for you I still wouldn’t so thanks man
Appreciate learning about getting Rexaura, always heard it was possible, but never knew how.
That was fun, I’ll try to leave a comment more often in your videos pal, thank you so much
10:46 Miranda in Thracia 776 is also recruited by standing on a specific tile
The Tathlum bow is so funny to me. I was one of those people who just so happened to be making an archer Mercedes in my first playthrough, and I stumbled across that bow, and it spurred me to train her more than anyone else lol.
love seeing my favorite weapons make an appearance here. Thanks a ton!
There you go. A well earned like and comment.
Thanks for letting me know how rare actually was to get venomstones.
Honorable mention for Awakening
The Supreme Emblem is a pain to get and the perfect completion award.
Man I come into a lot of these videos thinking I'm gonna know all the facts and somehow you manage to surprise me every damn time
Doing my bit to help Ghast reap the benefits of his time put into this video. Really interesting video, sir. I’ll be sure to go try to find some of these items whenever I play these games in future!
I didn't know that Shadow Dragon's online shop was still available through the game's Wii U VC version, neat.
Thanks for uploading! =)
New Mystery is the same though is exclusive to Japan all the same
Sword of Seiros in Three Houses. My fantasy of Edelgard killing Rhea with the sword and shield of seiros can never come to pass
for 3 houses, I'd like to give an honorable mention to the Opera company Volunteers battalion. Where in order to get it, you needed to place Manuela or Dorothea in a specific spot in chapter 18 of Silver Snow, 19 of Verdant Wind, or 21 of Azure moon.
I appreciate the work you put into this video and all the information you've provided, man
I’m gonna guess that sword you can only get in Azure Moon by talking to Rodrigue with Byleth on the Aileil map
Welp, correct on Azure Moon, but it's the bow that appears in such an obscure requirement
I did get the white dragon scarf on my silver snow playthrough, I was surprised by it but never realized it was a rare item.
Great video, its super neat to see what I knew and the bizzare things I didn’t think existed. Also the 7 sword and 11 shield look pretty sick.
The Astra, Sol and Luna weapons in SoV can also be found in the lower levels of Thabes Labyrinth with similar low appearance rates.
I love these types of videos as well as the support science,
a couple months ago I tried to legitimately get the Battle Seal and Visitation Seal but then realized if I'm the only doing it'd take an ungodly amount of hours. These items and Bond Units are basically not accessible in 2021 Fates
The Goddess Staff and Mystltain, (forgot how to spell it, it's been a while,) were fun to get. I remember noticing the difference in spelling between the sword Owain got, and the one he was talking about.
This just makes me feel really ready for a new FE game.
I'm really hoping we get one soon. Part of me wants to have 3 per system. Part of me doesn't want another Fates to happen. Most of me just wants more Fire Emblem.
I just hope it isn't a rush job like 3h
@@gameboyn64 3H still excellent and is probably the more original and creative of all of Fire Emblem games
I can scarcely fathom how much time and effort it took to make this video, but you have my utmost respect, good sir.
Your editing and research is such high quality, of *course* I had to leave a like and comment~
It's very much appreciated how much work you put in, and thanks for enlightening me about those weapons~ I was totally unaware of many of them and some of the hoops you have to jump through are crazy!
Again, thanks for the great video ❤
wow, raydrik’s loptyr sword was really cool to hear! thanks for your hard work :)
I knew about Sol, Luna and Astra's existences, but god I wish I knew how low the drop rates were for them (for both Gaiden and SoV).
I’ve been trying for the past 3 years to get them, still haven’t gotten any of the relics
I got all three of the weapons in Echoes from the post game barrels. It took many trips.
Very impressed by your pronunciation of Xavier. Most people say it like Charles Xavier from X-Men, by saying the X like Ix-Zavier.
It's rare i hear people say it right.
this was very interesting to watch, i honestly never knew what the mario kart double dash bonus disc even do, when my mom bought MK double dash it was supposed to include the bonus disc and neither of us knew what it was supposed to do so we declined it, FE awakening was the first fire emblem game ive ever played anyway so i dont think it wouldve mattered anyway since i already sold my gba and gamecube long time ago, im glad to learn things from you that i never knew about so heres a like from me, you totally earned it^^
gOOD JOB WITH THE VIDEO GHAST! yeah I knew about none of them except for the echoes weapons pretty much
2:01 Check out the Gaiden TAS, it is a work of art.
I have nothing important to add, but mad respect for all the work that was put into this video. Thanks Ghast!
Wow! That was a great video. Thanks so much for going through the work to find out about these items.
There's one extremely vague hint in FE9 about "figures in the northeast" (where Stefan is recruited) during the base conversation before the chapter. But I didn't realize it was a hint until multiple playthroughs in, after having recruited Stefan multiple times
This is my kind of content. Keep up the great work
Had no idea about Rexaura !
I have that double dash disc set of bonus items, such a relic of the weird times.
I’m still waiting for the perfect moment to bring up the Seven Eleven Echoes event in a conversation
Second playthrough, on the last battle before reaching Archanea in Echoes I managed to get a Rusted Bow that became the Luna Bow, now I just need the Astra Sword and the Sol Lance
Hey I remember getting one of those level down items in the GBA games and wondering "why tf would I want this?" LOL
P.S. I was messing with a gameshark to see what all could be attained
Level down to grow stats more?
@@kaitoudark1 yep, I realized that later on but I was like 12 and wasn't thinking too hard about it LOL
Thank you so much for all your hard work in getting the knowledge to the people! We appreciate you!
loved your videos
The stuff you learn when you make content! Nice work dude.
Really hope future games have these obscure kind of conditions
I always learn so much from these videos. Thanks for all your hard work.
I hope future games implement more weirdly specific conditions for special weapons instead focusing on using online functions to get them.
