Without strong research, a design can fall flat. If you don’t research the target audience, you don’t know who you’re designing for and you might miss the mark or come off as tone-deaf.
If you don’t ask the right design research questions - you can end up with designs that won’t last the test of time and come off as trendy or fleeting, rather than enduring.
As a fellow freelancer, I understand the challenges of research, especially when many methods require extensive teams and funding. In this video, I explore a variety of practical research techniques and methodologies that anyone can easily execute from the comfort of their own home - and for free!
