I knew this would happen from the beginning it wouldn't have mattered what side you were on because anything I never want to lose is always lost this is how it's always been for me everything worth wanting is lost the moment I obtained it and nothing I pursue is worth the cost of prolonging this life the suffering
Did I ever tell you why I joined Port Mafia in the first place I had hoped it would help me find my purpose death and carnage, hope and despair. I wanted a way to observe humanity's true nature and there's no better place than a battlefield that will to live I thought that being around it would help me find my own.
If Dazai truly craved death, if Dazai truly wanted to die, then he would’ve killed himself many years ago. When you truly want something, nothing, and I mean nothing will stop you from getting it. Even if you have to inflict it on yourself.
Dazai does desire and want to die. But the reason matters the most here. When he says he wants to die, he simply does not find the meaning in living itself. Since dazai does everything with reason, he wants to live with reason. And he does not find it and so wants to die. But still, no matter how much he wants to die he still has his responsibilities like saving the world from fyodor and helping his combarates on his shoulders, so he wont die untill he finishes them.. I think things will go much similar to how it went in the beast universe for dazai, he will die when he has a valid reason to or when it will help the world around him.
Excuse me if I mince words here, it's kinda hard for me to properly explain. This moment in the anime is portrayed differently than in the Manga. He's jealous and mad. The line he says "it's more than you deserve", dazai craves death to escape the suffering of living but dying is also suffering. This scene in the Manga is supposed to be a moment that helps show the complexity of his character. My personal take on the quote, is that the line may be directed at himself, possibly subconsciously. Watch the video again with this in mind. Pay attention to the quotes, it sheds a whole new light the scene. Sorry if I did a bad job explaining.
After watching the video again I realized I totally did not do it justice. I can think it clearly in my head what I'm trying to explain but I struggle to put it to words. The best I can think to say is this: to crave life is to crave death, to crave death is to crave life. Living is the ultimate risk, dying is the one you can't take back. P. S: if anyone reading this is suicidal, please reach out for help, there is always someone who cares.

Why not just comment it on the video?
@@kiearatowner1843anyway, How is craving death craving life and vice versa?(if you're basing it off that "dying and living inevitable" than okay I understand but the word "crave" isn't really the word to describe it right?)

yeah, I really don't understand why he is still alive, maybe Dazai isn't truly try to die, what he's doing always ununderstandable

@@CeruleanLinx interesting. I never watched the anime, so I don’t know much. I just know dazai is some suicidal dude.
