Just in case you didn’t know, there was an issue with the music during this performance. When Jungkook begins singing “We don’t talk anymore” you can see him take out his earpiece. Also when “Fake Love” began it wasn’t supposed to be only Charlie playing the piano. But the music didn’t end up playing and BTS themselves couldn’t hear it so they had to go off of Charlie’s playing. Which is *very* hard to hear with all those screaming fans. But the performance still sounded great and you could really see their professionalism.
I had no idea about any of this and I still think this was a great performance. lol I actually like that is a lot more toned down. Apparently it wasn't supposed to be THAT toned down, but anyway, they killed it as usual.

There is a video of the sound check for this performance and honestly that video was a lot better and showed how this was supposed to sound, obviously since there weren’t any technical difficulties then. I really recommend their 2019 and 2018 mma performances and their 2018 and 2019 mama performances.

Though they were amazing pros as always, this is one of the most notoriously hated BTS performances by ARMY because of the technical problems they were put through & also because of issues with comments by CP, but since you are fans of him, I won’t go there. This performance is adorable because Jungkook, (the youngest and also the one in the suit you liked) is a HUGE fan of Charlie Puth and covered this song before, unfortunately this aint the best live stage since there were a lot of problems with the earpieces, the music not playing on the background and the sound of the mics, the venue and the organizers had a lot of technical difficulties. There are a lot of live performances that you should react, From the 5th Muster, truth untold, tear and MMA 2019 are some of my recommendations
Just so u guys know, the reason why u might feel that they sound rly similar is that when jungkook covers others songs, he tends to mimic the original singers style of singing to fit the song! It’s actually quite difficult to do

Wow, personally, I’d say this was a good performance but isn’t their best one yet. Allen even noticed Jungkook taking his earpiece out in the beginning because he couldn’t hear himself thus making it difficult for him and the rest of them to stay on key. Unfortunately, the technical difficulties kind of messed this one up but BTS handled it so professionally and that’s what makes me appreciate this performance more. And I don’t know if you’ve noticed the voice cracks, but I appreciate y’all not targetting their mistakes and feasting on it unlike some other reactors who just can’t hold their tongues, but instead focus on the positive things you saw in the vid. If y’all have nothing good to say then don’t say anything at all, right? I really really love y’all for this.

Ah this performance. I felt so bad for them. But they still remained professional. And please don’t mind some of the hateful fans from other groups dropping mean comments abt BTS here. I’ve seen a few. Lots of them state they hate BTS or BTS are not talented enough, but they are still obsessed with them watching and commenting on BTS related things. They do not represent the majority of fans from other groups. I wished the obsessed haters would focus more on their groups in order to help them get just as famous and successful.
It hurts to watch the Fake Love performance, but what I love about this collaboration, despite all the technical difficulties that BTS experienced was the immense joy that the 6 members had for Jungkook knowing that he was going to finally do a collab with one of his idols. In a behind-the-scenes video the members are just out of the camera's sight cheering him on silently as he sat in that chair - how kool is that! Also, even with the Fake Love difficulties, the boys still celebrated singing alongside Charlie Puth!!! Thank you guys!!!
I really enjoy your intelligent, thoughtful BTS reactions. This was not their best performance (Its rare to for them to be off tonally. Jungkook was very disappointed in his own performance), but you're right, they still managed to wow the entire crowd, including Charlie Puth. Their best award show lives are all of their MAMA and MMA performances 2016-2019. I recommend watching them chronologically, to see their progression. Just pick the ones with the most views and "Entire performance", then sit back and be prepared to be blown away.
One of the thing that drew me to BTS besides the dope music, is the deep lyrics & the thoughtfulness to the lyrics & to have seen their journey & just how humble they stayed makes me feel like a proud mama :) For me, growing up I listened to all kinds of music, from opera to metal but always loved dancing & pop was good for that but most pop lyric wise was quite boring so usually had to go to the metal scene to get the more deeper stuff & thats the brilliant thing about bts, they make you wanna dance while giving the lyrics meaning. When you then also learn how they started, who they are as people & how humbled they stayed throughout the journey it brings a whole other level of respect Ive rarely felt for any pop artist. + one dosnt have to like their style of music to respect their hard work, the blood, sweet, tears & heart they put into their music :)

I know many have been requesting the MMA 2019 performance. Just wanted to let you know that they performed one of their earlier songs in the first half (when they're wearing school type uniforms) and also the music going on during the individual performances are remixed versions of older songs. Many reactors have no clue when they watch and it's frustrating because that's what made the entire thing so special. It's like they took us on a journey from the beginning to the recent songs from the Map of the Soul Persona album. Also, right now you won't know what I'm talking about, but, the light bulbs are forming the shape of a constellation. Just something to keep in mind.
If y’all think this stage was over the top watch their 2019 MMA and MAMA stages. Like....they were better than any Super Bowl halftime ever. Their award shows are always great.

Everyone here is mentioning MMA 2018 and 2019. Yes Please do both but a suggestion do it in order so you can see the guys growth. Both are stellar performances and they will blow you away.
Whatever you do, react first to MMA 2018 and then to MMA 2019. Trust me! If you want to see the growth and see what kind of upgrade they managed with their stage performance and want to see which songs followed which, this is the best way to go about it. In 2018 Army could not imagine how BTS can top the performance they had. In 2019 Army had to get blown away with what happened. This is the reason for my suggestion.

The staff at those awards show messed up a great performance. Fortunately bts like all professionals despite the difficulties came out and presented the show.
Let me address the big elephant in the room. Jimin’s voice cracked and he really felt bad about it. He didin’t realize it not until later on during the show (he watched the performance backstage, because they couldn’t hear themselves during the performance). He looked really upset. It happens, even professional singers have those moments. It is not their best, but there are tons out there that are good. One of the thing that drew me to BTS besides the dope music, is the deep lyrics & the thoughtfulness to the lyrics & to have seen their journey & just how humble they stayed makes me feel like a proud mama :) For me, growing up I listened to all kinds of music, from opera to metal but always loved dancing & pop was good for that but most pop lyric wise was quite boring so usually had to go to the metal scene to get the more deeper stuff & thats the brilliant thing about bts, they make you wanna dance while giving the lyrics meaning. When you then also learn how they started, who they are as people & how humbled they stayed throughout the journey it brings a whole other level of respect Ive rarely felt for any pop artist. + one dosnt have to like their style of music to respect their hard work, the blood, sweet, tears & heart they put into their music :)

Guys pls dont make this as an impression of their live performance because for me it was the worst with all the wrong track errors and them being tired and sick due to their hectic schedule like their tour...there are much way much better performances than this

Many agree that this performance was really bad compared to their good ones
And you can even see in their faces that they're uncomfortable, look at jimin, for example
And of course it wasn't their fault, there was a lot of technical difficulties
@@sabrinab4193 Yeah the high note from Jimin he struggled. But V sound good for me eaven he was tired. And they where not al bad.. The rapline did good, jin did it with no struggle. It was not the best performance but it was not that much bad as much are saying. But to introduce this live performance from bts to a youtuber a bad decision to react this one first.

I know many have been requesting the MMA 2019 performance. Just wanted to let you know that they performed one of their earlier songs in the first half (when they're wearing school type uniforms) and also the music going on during the individual performances are remixed versions of older songs. Many reactors have no clue when they watch and it's frustrating because that's what made the entire thing so special. It's like they took us on a journey from the beginning to the recent songs from the Map of the Soul Persona album. Also, right now you won't know what I'm talking about, but, the light bulbs are forming the shape of a constellation. Just something to keep in mind.
If y’all think this stage was over the top watch their 2019 MMA and MAMA stages. Like....they were better than any Super Bowl halftime ever. Their award shows are always great.

In fake love part , after this performance they reveal that bts and charlie puth was surprised that someone change melody , tone and beat it was not the one they practiced the whole time the original version of fake love was change on the spot.. that why Jimin’s tone and pitch didn’t suit in.. But even if , nothing change I still support and love BTS specially Jimin , he’s voice cracks a lot but he can carry it .all Performers do mistake , but even bts falls, cracks, i’m loving them more💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

They may have had problems with the track/sound whatever, but I loved it because JK loved it and it made his dream come true, regardless of the issues. I'm an Army through everything, they don't need to be "perfect" for me to be happy for them and enjoy seeing them happy. Tbh I love the perfect but I adore the imperfect BTS. Thank you Alex and Allen, for watching it and enjoying it, and not just looking at all their "perfect" performances.

Everyone here is mentioning MMA 2018 and 2019. Yes Please do both but a suggestion do it in order so you can see the guys growth. Both are stellar performances and they will blow you away.
Whatever you do, react first to MMA 2018 and then to MMA 2019. Trust me! If you want to see the growth and see what kind of upgrade they managed with their stage performance and want to see which songs followed which, this is the best way to go about it. In 2018 Army could not imagine how BTS can top the performance they had. In 2019 Army had to get blown away with what happened. This is the reason for my suggestion.

Let me address the big elephant in the room. Jimin’s voice cracked and he really felt bad about it. He didin’t realize it not until later on during the show (he watched the performance backstage, because they couldn’t hear themselves during the performance). He looked really upset. It happens, even professional singers have those moments. It is not their best, but there are tons out there that are good. I praise BTS x Charlie for this amazing stage collab but I personally think that this isn’t really an ideal live performance video if you’re going to start watching BTS’ live performances- with all the technical issues and errors caused by lack of prefessionalism of the music engineers of this award show, definitely there are so many and much better BTS live performances that you guys should definitely check out like their performance on 2019 Melon Music Awards or MMA... 💜

jimin had a mild/small anxiety attack after this performance while sitting on the crowd and bts and his other idol friend tried to help him, honestly army hate this day and performance and interactions everything. it was hell
