    Wow I love how this instrument can be identified from Southeast Asia to Madagascar, off the pact of Africa. I love the design of it, and the resonance.

    Right ! It looks like the Malagasy valiha but valiha is played with the fingers, not with sticks. True that it is the ancestor of the valiha.
