    Hi Ann and Jane, Just a tip I use for hasselback potatoes is a wood or metal skewer inserted along the bottom of the potato helps you not slice through the whole way through the potato as you slice 🥰

    I would warm the refried beans up with a little tomato salsa to loosen it to make it a little spreadable. Would be easier than glopping it on top of the nachos

      I am funny about my nacho chips being soggy at the bottom... so.. I would use all these ingredients and make basically a layered dip in a casserole pan with them and serve chips on side. :) And yes.. loosen the beans a bit with salsa or water/broth even.

    Hey Gals, one point, adding a little salsa to the refried beans makes them easier to scoop, and your chips won't break so easy. Thanks for this great video. I already own "Warrior Woman." Today. I ordered "Engine 2". Can't wait for its arrival. Hugs, from California

    Some recipes call for 1 Tablespoon of tomato paste so I just divide the rest of the can into tablespoon amounts and freeze them in ice cube tray. Then I can pop them in a baggie and have these smaller amounts available and not waste any Ann😊

      Growing up on a Kansas farm in the 50s, that was bred into me. My parents and their parents went through Immigration, WWI, Spanish flu, The Great Depression, The Dirty 30s, polio, and WWII. ‘Nuff said.

      loaded w b vitamins and folic acid... seems like a good ingredient list to me.
