Love my old USA made Eureka Sanitaires i have about 40 lol. All mine have the Amtec Lamb pancake metal motor oldest being a 1982 SC886A and newest is a 2019 Bissel Sanitaire SC886 i did a NOS Amtec metal motor swap in. Been rebuilding and collecting Sanitaires for 34 years now. I also have some really nice rare blue line Sanitaires like a 2 speed 1987 S650 and an S660. It's really sad what Electrolux then Bissell did to my favorite vacuum company ever and not just the Electrolux plastic terrible motor but I also noticed the bases are much thinner and everything feels much cheaper and the new Chinese made motors don't last anywhere near as long as the old USA and Mexican amtec motors. I have one sanitaire with about 8000 hours on it and still has the original carbon brushes and still runs like new. Plus you got to love the sound of the old motors LOL
