These videos represent my life so much, fixing old backhoe for use of lifting heavy stuff and random yardwork. Also ive been fixing busses for the last 13years. Nice to see the old ford come back to life !
Nice video , random holes on your property are a good thing it keeps the trespassers/thieves out, nice work on the bushing and those pins made from the former axles shaft, those will last forever even under heavy usage, i use to handle those things back in the 80's and we only ever broke one once in testing for strength/durability and we ran 70 or 75mm shafts on our units we built, some grease in those areas it'll like it was from the Ford factory, Good thing Scania donated the material for the pins 😎
niced bit of reworking of the half shaft as we call them in blighty I wouldn't mind buying that little pickup you had by the tractor I think it was a zaz
Nice job now if you’re digging and exposing a gas line or telephone or hydro you can carefully dig inch by inch and the bucket isn’t going to do anything erratic digging around sewer and water lines can be challenging for a signal man if the bucket has a mind of their own and you will look a lot more professional. Nothing I hate more is running a sloppy old machine and getting the blame for its condition. Grease is cheap so there’s no reason for a machine to stay in reasonably tight condition and it’s a safety hazard to because if you’re trenching and the swingers are so sloppy you can’t get the bucket to line up with the trench you don’t instill confidence and you’re top man doesn’t want to get slapped by a backhoe bucket it can be bad for your health! But your really doing a great job on restoring that old girl you should be proud and it’s a very handy piece of equipment to own 😀🇨🇦
Enormous pins that actually are used compared to the flogged out spindly sticks of iron that have been retired from the loader. Even just seeing it on video shows it to be like a new machine after that remedy. Nice pins you turned down. Hope the mechanics aren't searching for them on Monday?

Huge improvement and replacing the old grease nipples means the new pins will last a long time.
You just put another 20 years of life back into that machine

You have a really understanding boss. You've done quite a few personal projects at the work site.
Very nice! That windshield would drive me crazy 😅
It's great you were able to fix this without major repairs
You got a sub at "good enough"... Tired of people thinking that everyone has every tool to fix everything the perfect way
As always excellent video.

do not think previous owner did much work with the shovel due to the holes being in good shape..and great video as always..
the little ford has pretty good hydraulic power

nice job well done ,enjoy your videos.
Well done, thank you for the video. At least, you need to buy an Unimog 419 from the US Army.
I would love to have one of those.
But they are usually quite costly.
Good job well done 😊
looks like some rich soil, shes good and solid now
Now the stick needs bushings
Get it done awesome job😊
You need the Ryobi cordless grease gun.... 💡
you need a Euro Hitch then you could have other attachments
👍
The hydraulic lines I've seen before, could have been standard.
Ja det hade varit roligt att följa bygget så vi få följa utvecklingen av det hela.
Can I get a rebuild kit for the swing boom hydrolic motor if so how much
Still waiting for the quick atatch video😅
Me too 🤔

Din m a n lastbil kræves der eu bevis for kørsel i den ?
Så længe den kun bruges privat, så er det ikke nødvendigt med EU bevis.
Tak for det
