Those are beautiful. I wanted to make one for me and my wife and just didn't know where to start. Now I know how from start to finish!! Thank you for your unselfish effort to share your craft!!!
Im going to check around like at car curshing places ,dmv car lots I don't know but seems like you could ask your local dmv for the plates I need to take care of my daughter and help her make it she not able to work she can paint really well I'm hoping I can get us going soon I'm a new subscriber I've been seeing this alot lately and want to try it I have all the stuff to do it love your work congratulations thank you 🙏
Hey Tina, whether the license plate signs, or something in one of my future videos.. I'm sure you will be able to find something you and your daughter can make. Thanks for watching!
So you also poly the front sides? And do you only use the big tin snips for cutting the plates or do you use other tools, too? I think they look great!
Hello Christine, I do not poly the front, only the back. But I also Kilz and paint under the plates to seal it incase a customer uses it outside. I usually use long hand snips that cut straight.
Hello mkw36, I'm using a brad nailer. But you can use either, as long as what you're shooting in is short enough and doesn't come out of the back side of the wood you're using. I'll be doing a similar build very soon, its just hard to find the time to film being I work everyday. But stay tuned, you'll see some good future content.
If you get back to me tonight and we come to an agreement I’m willing to go out and get as many as say 75-100 tonight and prepared to go as low as $5-$7 per plate. I’m talking about nice plates mew issues no old rusty stuff. I will acquire vanity plates for $10 for you. Hurry we still got time before the sun comes up. Do you have cashapporvenmo?
Ok. I problem. I just got bailed out of the police station….but I have some plates still stashed. Want them…at this point I take $4 each if you take them all.
I've seen a lot of these and by far yours are created with the highest quality craftsmanship. Hats off to you.
Beautiful work!

Are you open to suggestions?
That's beautiful. Where did you get all the plate pieces from. Nice work
Junk yards often take cars in with the plates still on. Develop a good relationship with a shop and you can buy all they bring in.
Awesome video, what kind of tool do you use to cut the plates, there is now way you use tin snips. Band saw?
Tin snips work fine, but I draw a straight line down it with a pencil and a speed square.
What size brad nails do you use and what psi on the compressor?
Beautifull Project. do you sale letters?
Sweet! Where did you finde the weed spacers?
So you also poly the front sides? And do you only use the big tin snips for cutting the plates or do you use other tools, too? I think they look great!

You must have a killer handshake
What width are you cutting the letters and numbers?
1:33 What kind of cutter do you use.? Thank you.
Did you cut all of those plates by hand or did you use a band saw?
Nice! What color is the stain
I use all different colors, I don't remember what color I used in the video. Any and all colors look great. You can't go wrong, just experiment.
where do you get all the license plates
Why not stain first before placing the letters?
Are you using a brad nailer or a pin nailer? Thanks

What size pin nails you use without blowing through
Where does one, legally, obtain bulk license plates?
Ebay or the flea market
Where do you get so many license plates.
I'm at the point that people bring them to me knowing I will buy them.
