I'm a simple man. I got a Reclaimer and a Ironclad Assault and 1 more LTI token I'll keep to see if I fall in love with any other large ship until launch, otherwise it'g gonna be slowly CCIed into a Connie Taurus, the most practical medium daily driver I played so far, or even a Zeus for the smaller size. The reclaimer MIGHT become an Arrastra later if I love the gameplay loop, but I really like the fact it's a named ship, I feel this should be the case for all large + ships. I want to feel that LTI working, that's why I'm using it in large ships mostly.

I liked the idea of the ironclad but couldn't justify it with the other fleet ships but did swap out one ship to get the caterpillar
@@DataSwami I feel the Ironclad is the ONE expensive ship I'll often put in risk. over 1000 SCU uf cargo, a repair bay, this thing will be the one I bring if I manage to play with friends to be the centerpiece of any large scale activity. Otherwise, I'll just use it as a really cool looking hauler, unless they make it REALLY expensive to operate. Other than the turrets it only needs a crew of 2, and even 1 if you use the tractor beam while landed, so there is that...

You have some HUGE ships mate. I remember back when they opened up for the Carrack pre pledges. It was still a concept. Chris did a live stream and I asked him if it could be flown solo. If I can solo a ship, I will buy it. If I have to organise half a dozen friends to be available for the same time slot, then no. Let's face it, most people would rather fly their own ship than sit at a engineer console pushing shields back and forth or doing nothing all night. Until we can have AI bots or blades or some such automation, I don't see the bigger ships as being viable. Especially two or three years in, when the initial sheen has worn off, gathering a crew will be super hard.

That's the way I'm going with it but also with friends to man some of the biggish ships as it's more we are doing an activity rather than just flying a ship. But then plenty of people love those other "job sim" games so certain people will love it. I know a lot of people looking forward to just cargo running in it's new guise. So I have my solo pottering around ships but bigger ships for both resource gathering and some elements of combat
Great to see up and coming youtubers with a passion in star citizen! Great fleet btw. Mine is smaller as my budget is around USD500 haha, targeting around USD1.2K after the ccu game. Wish I could get some of these ships soon enough. Cheers!
Awww thanks Joe :). Absolutely loving my experience and starting to get into some orgs now too as been alot playing solo at present. Need to get a handle of CCU game with this fleet to properly optimise it and free up some credit for other ships. Just really excited about all the alternative gaming loops while doing a bit of space combat and fps. It has also got me into more space sim/space games so lots more of those to get especially with steam sale on XD

So I've joined up with Syncronus really good bunch of guys and very active. But more importantly for me not focused just on ship combat focused on doing anything and everything but having fun together
Nice fleet! I went with 315p as a pathfinder, small smuggling ship. Hornet mkII for a fighter. Freelancer MIS as a support ship/escort. Currently have a Redeemer but i'm just waiting to upgrade that to the Endeavour to research blueprints/other science stuff. Galaxy for base building, hauling and probably some combat. 600i for exploration. Arrastra and Reclaimer as money makers. The flagship is a Merchantman, mobile base, market, large cargo runner. My first ever ship was the Aurora LN a long, long time ago.
Ooooo a very nice mix there!! Personally I didn't like the freelancers looks 🤣🤣. But quite similar setup for the money making there. Especially the arrastra just felt a better option than the Orion
Nice. I started off with a Origin 100i starter pack quite a few years ago. I have a similar fleet. Cutter Scout - as a small scouting, go around & have fun in ship. C8R - for My medical needs, and it makes a nice little snub that i can carry in other bigger ships. That has a med bed. Its not good for combat, but i just want it. The F7C Hornet MK II - for my combat ship of choice. I think it will be a great ship in the future, with ample firepower and good all around performance. The Zeus MK II ES (debating if i should get the MR instead) for my Medium ship of choice. It was the C1 before, but the Zeuses just .... yeah .... The Corsair - Same reasons as Data Swami & also - because it gives me star wars vibes. The Galaxy - STAR DESTROYER vibes. Also a great all around ship. It just promises to do too much to pass up. The Arrastra - Money maker, 1 stop mining ship. The BMM - My end game ship, whatever happens with it, happens. I will be glad to fly mine with my friends when it is released.

@@DataSwami To be fully honest i like it quite a lot. I have flown most of the ships in-game during my time. I am a backer since 2016. Yes i have done my missions, i suggest you push to do yours as well :) I believe that after the F8A Lightning, the F7A Hornet MK II will be THE premier fighter. My reasoning is simple - a LOT of guns. 2 of which are size 4. I love using the ballistic guns on the hornet, it simply melts targets! Avenger_One is also quite happy with it, so if he approves of it, who am i to say the hornet is bad?? I also quite like how it flies so i am happy to keep one in my fleet. Long story short - its a good, capable dog fighter, with 2 big hard points and a good profile. The Military F7A MK II is going to be meta in the future. Even in MM. I am thinking of a loadout with x4 Singe 3 cannons and x2 Deadbolt cannons or Revenant gatlings for PvE - thats 6k alpha damage.....

However I do suspect that we are going to see a lot of ship updates and fulfilment on the failed promises over the years with the release of sever meshing and star engine. I wouldn't be surprised if the optimization were already done but just put on the shelf till then. And upon release, I'm ramming everyone with the Blade LMAOO
Endeavor is going get Redesigned and become so massive compared to how small it is now. as the Metrics when it was designed are so old they all need updated.
You can dock the Reclaimer and sell at Grim Hex no need to fly it in Atmo. The price they pay for CM is slightly less but worth not needing to fly in Atmo.
Not a big fan of the BMM, although have a CCU just in case, melted the Polaris for the meantime, again, have a CCU. Yet, do still have the Arrastra/Perseus/Galaxy IAE/3X Zeus/Odyssey/Endeavor Master Set LTI/Liberator and Orion, can't really see much use for the Pioneer...yet. Its is a slow creep with Star Citizen, and a few $000 isn't a problem, and CCU's/melting and buyback are a godsend...until it ends around Beta. Nice fleet.

I melted both my Blade/Glaive and brought CCU's just to be ready for SQ42, their price will rise, and many will be lumped with the F8, as these ships will steal the limelight, who want's a dull ole F8 when you can have a Blade/Glaive/Scythe.
Thats fair. I ended up getting the blade by upgrading something in one of the packs so cant do the CCU option. We'll see if i can get an F8 but the fighters arent really my primary focus :) and will see how the Blade plays when SQ42 brings in whatever changes it brings :)
Ye i keep seeing mixed messaged about the cargo capabilities of the BMM plus with the new physicalised cargo will be interesting how they sort that out

Small correction on teh Banu MM. It is not a luxury ship, its a Merchant/trade ship with quite good armament. It might look luxurius but its just a regular alien ship. It looks very nice but not really luxury.
@@Erik3E Ye so i sort of still see it as a bit of a luxury style trade ship compared to say the Kraken trade variant. I think from the Lore the Banu love their luxury and horde culture etc so i definitely think it could be another level of luxury compared to the 890 Jump
Nice choice, i have many of the same, also a Nautilus, the gameplay loop interests me. Had a Rec, yet the downgrade and lingering feeling CIG will abandon it once its got drones is kinda off putting ,especially with the claw, not actually being a claw anymaw. Hope they do introduce proper bounty gameplay, its not atm, that's why i don't bother, yet have an MR. so fingers crossed. Nice sharp video, clear audio and background ambient music, that doesn't have a dance beat. Kudos
Ye with the Rec i am hoping the intro of salvaging in its current form will change with the new damage engine. The fork goes back to something that either munches or slices up the hulls of ships. But i definitely want them to sort out the materials storage thing so it separates RMC and Construction mats as at the moment all i do is get Construction mats so i dont get fractions of RMC or CM stuck in there
@@DataSwami all vandul ships are being remade. Rember that right now you got the espria version, wich is heavly converted and a replica of the vandull version. It was relased in 2018 and is yet to be gold passed. Together witj the vandull ships it is reciving an update
Ye i know it still needs to have its gold pass just in terms of design im sure its staying to the styling of the blade and lore wise i believe they will all be esperia versions as we wouldnt be trading with the Vanduul lot. But i will keep a hold of it to see what its like once we get Squadron 42
Its shocking how Similar my fleet is to yours , I have the Polaris, Odyssey, Galaxy, Arrastra, C2 Hercules, Corsair, MSR, Zeus CL, Then i got the Redeemer, Inferno, F7C mk2, and the CR8 Recue. I Will probably upgrade the C2 Hurc to a Perseus, And on the fence about the MSR and will likely melt, based on how i like the Zeus CL. ill use the Galaxy for cargo running, in place of the Hurc, and for base building.
Damn that is one nice fleet! I have the C2 as a loaner but just not a fan of it for some reason which is why i think ill get the Caterpillar. I think i am going to go ahead and get the MK2 as trying it out in Arena Commander has made it feel far better than running around in the Blade
Nice selection of ships. I'm much more into simplicity than you as my fleet is just three ships: Gladius for combat, MSR for running vice and eventually data, and a Carrack for bulk cargo and anything that needs roleplaying or medical beds.
Ye my goxlr seemed to have a really high noise gate and I have a habit of moving around too much around the pod mic 🤣. All lessons to learn though so next videos those issues should be resolved. I want to keep the flow as natural as possible so I don't script any of it but have a few key points to make
@@DataSwamiI'm pretty hyped for the BMM but who knows how many years that will be. I really like the RSI design language so I'm excited about those coming soon. The Zeus will probably be a daily driver. I was going to get rid of the galaxy until they said it was gonna build bases. The Perseus looks mean as hell and the Polaris will be my first capital ship. Im excited for the endeavor as well but that will be close to the last ship they deliver.

Wow, you started playing Star Citizen just last year and have spent over 5k on ships, and you still have not determined what you plan to do with most of those ships. Someone may need impulse spending control. I hope you are in an org or have a few friends playing Star Citizen because you will not be able to use those multi-crew ships when engineering is in.
@@DataSwami Rewatch your video. You said with the Perseus, "This one I'm not sure about yet." is how you lead off about the Perseus. You then talked about what the ship can do but not what you will use it for. You got the C1 to be a daily driver, but you use the Corsair as your daily driver. So why have the C1 when it's not being used because it was bought?
@@FoxCreativeGaming Yes i said not sure about it yet as its not ingame. I like the idea of its use within an org as I stated. Ye spoke about what the ship can do but its all up in the air until its out which is why i stated it may or may not stay in the fleet. The C1 is was got to be a daily driver but I currently prefer using the Corsair as I was grinding up ranks for ERT. For other things I use the C1 when I need something much faster in atmo and with cargo space.
So ye the Corsair is my daily driver at the moment. And we will have to see how CIG implement having a few of your ships out at once to enable org members to fly and use for larger ops

Yes. That's exactly what the point of the Blade is. It's built that way to be able to melee into other fighters.

The merchantman has a huge cargo capacity aswell so I see it as a super heavy cargo hauler for if your mates are no online

Remember the blade is being remade, id suggest holding onto it until the remake

Damn that is one nice fleet! I have the C2 as a loaner but just not a fan of it for some reason which is why i think ill get the Caterpillar. I think i am going to go ahead and get the MK2 as trying it out in Arena Commander has made it feel far better than running around in the Blade
Nice selection of ships. I'm much more into simplicity than you as my fleet is just three ships: Gladius for combat, MSR for running vice and eventually data, and a Carrack for bulk cargo and anything that needs roleplaying or medical beds.
Ahhh nice :) Ye the Carrack does seem to fit quite a few roles nicely. I have probably got carried away with my fleet XD But i cant help myself XD

Ye my goxlr seemed to have a really high noise gate and I have a habit of moving around too much around the pod mic 🤣. All lessons to learn though so next videos those issues should be resolved. I want to keep the flow as natural as possible so I don't script any of it but have a few key points to make

@@DataSwamiI'm pretty hyped for the BMM but who knows how many years that will be. I really like the RSI design language so I'm excited about those coming soon. The Zeus will probably be a daily driver. I was going to get rid of the galaxy until they said it was gonna build bases. The Perseus looks mean as hell and the Polaris will be my first capital ship. Im excited for the endeavor as well but that will be close to the last ship they deliver.

Wow, you started playing Star Citizen just last year and have spent over 5k on ships, and you still have not determined what you plan to do with most of those ships. Someone may need impulse spending control. I hope you are in an org or have a few friends playing Star Citizen because you will not be able to use those multi-crew ships when engineering is in.
Lol I definitely articulated what I want to do with each of those and the reasons behind them. And I am fully aware of the engineering changes
@@DataSwami Rewatch your video. You said with the Perseus, "This one I'm not sure about yet." is how you lead off about the Perseus. You then talked about what the ship can do but not what you will use it for. You got the C1 to be a daily driver, but you use the Corsair as your daily driver. So why have the C1 when it's not being used because it was bought?
@@FoxCreativeGaming Yes i said not sure about it yet as its not ingame. I like the idea of its use within an org as I stated. Ye spoke about what the ship can do but its all up in the air until its out which is why i stated it may or may not stay in the fleet. The C1 is was got to be a daily driver but I currently prefer using the Corsair as I was grinding up ranks for ERT. For other things I use the C1 when I need something much faster in atmo and with cargo space.

A fleet but you can only fly one ship at a time... sorry you probably drive one of them daily instead of fly them.
So ye the Corsair is my daily driver at the moment. And we will have to see how CIG implement having a few of your ships out at once to enable org members to fly and use for larger ops
