Slightly tricky. To open it all the way there are two bolts I have to remove on the front winch bracket to lean it forward out of the way. Then at the bottom of the windshield there's a panel I slide up that allows the hood to clear. Clear as mud I know.
Are you talking about hydros in general or just the jd ones because I Have a cub cadet that I converted to a mud tractor and it has a hydro with 836 hours on it and still going strong
Glad you think so. I have 1300 hrs and still no problem. It does make a little noise but still goes. I think a lot of people use them mowing on hillsides and burn them up.
I have an S240 tractor (same tractor but with the Kawasaki engine) that I bought brand new seven years ago, still running strong and no issues with my transaxle. Never had to do a thing to it other than replacing a drive belt. The tractor has 440.0 hours on the clock.
I know it's a late post, but good use of CAD, cardboard aided design. Nice work.
sweet custom job
What did you use to make the windows. Like was it glass or what?. And where did you get it. Need somthing like that for my peoject. Thanks
I’m curious how you attatched the cab to the body?
Thanks love the video. I’m looking at doing something similar. Also love the winch on front!!!
4 bolts. One on each side of foot rest area and two across the back.
How strudy is it? When operating
It is surprisingly sturdy!
How do you open the hood?

Those transmissions are complete junk. They fail within 200 hours
