DMZ is so fun to me had a glitch last night where none of the exfils worked before the last one and 2 guys passed us in a truck let us hop it and we escaped together. And made new friends we escaped with 10 seconds left
That's crazy, someone pulled up on me in final exfil and I told him we wouldn't kill him but he had the m13b so I snapped his neck the second we left the ground.
Damn bro !!! Same experience!!! With 5 secs to spare I couldn't believe we made it , its still mind blowing ! I needed a fiya smoking intermission after that one 🤣
mate on a match we where very far away from the last exfil, we had a helicopter near so i took it, one partner didnt hop in the helicopter so we had to go asap...then we barely made it to the last exfil, my partner fucked up and got downed, i had to kill a couple bots in order to save him, and we could get out just in the last 3 seconds...man i love this game mode XD
A tip for solos: Run your insured weapon with a suppressor as AI will take longer to become alerted to you. I personally run a suppressed Lynx so I can keep distance from both AI and people minimizing the danger.
Smart. I use a suppressor too but I like to get in close for the vicious cqc. Absolutely outrageous if you use something like the pp19 (minibak in the game) or an lmg.
Really important that in DMZ you don't start random gunfights if you have an objective. I've had so many good runs ruined by squad mates shooting enemies that haven't seen them yet and all of a sudden I'm fighting the Battle of The Bulge trying to keep my squad alive instead of completing the job we were headed to do.
No kidding, I've literally went to solo game play just because players would shoot anything that moved while trying for a simple secure Intel objective.
Communication is soo important, when I team with my son with him on discord or right beside me we have great fun doing just duo's. Going in with randoms messes it up

DMZ reminds me of the Dark Zone from The Division, that intense feeling when waiting for the helicopter to land, also the worry about some other players would ambush you.
That’s a great comparison. I have a friend who isn’t sold on the game yet but we used to play the division and we loved that. I’m definitely going to compare DMZ to it and hopefully get him on board
I’m a sweaty war zone 2 player who plays the game a ton everyday and I’ve never really tried DMZ but recently warzone has been getting a little bit dull so I was like why not try somthing new. This helped so much to get me started thanks so much.
Me and my brother finally decided to play DMZ. We are so big on war zone and multi but we randomly decided to switch it up. So far, I’m loving it! The objectives are a bit over whelming because there’s so many but I have time🙂 well done COD!

Would be great if they made it where the stowed backpacks, chest rigs, and stronghold keys got stored like the contraband weapons do. Something like tarkov does, that way of you get wiped you have extra to start another round with.
Full blown addicted to the DMZ...almost every move is crucial...not only do you have your random everyday sweats running around spoiling exfils but it's full of freaking Terminators...they don't miss and had a mob chase my squad for over 100 meters...if you've never played it, you've been warned

The AI are the most challenging part of this entire experience. I wiped a squad of 3, and was kitted out. I got killed by 2 heavies at the extraction chopper.
I played my first DMZ last night and I felt I was holding the players I was with back as I didn't even know what I was doing, this really helped me out on what I should be doing as a noob to DMZ mode
I get that feeling too. If I don't know what I'm doing, I just try my best to support my squad. I didn't even know I could sell loot. Starting to get a little giddy about playing again.
I just got a PS5 about a month ago, the only experience I had before was my switch. COD is the first game I got after playing TLOU and I was so overwhelmed especially with the DMZ and this vid explained everything so well and made me less scared to go in there LOL. You rock!
DMZ can be very punishing on solo play, reckless play, greedy play, and SUPER VERY punishing to very new players. You either learn quick within the day or two, days, weeks, or a month. AI is obviously no joke and not to be trifled with.
I feel like the people that are saying that the AI are no big deal are the ones that always play with a squad and haven't played solo for hours straight. There really needs to be a solo mode that has less AI and you can't squad up with other people because that would obviously ruin the point of it being solo.

@@theredguy8746 I go in solo all the time, if you keep near cover and always make sure you have an exit plan the bots can be dealt with. I even clear strongholds on my own you just have to have a few self revives and a good stock of armor plates. I do a few stealth runs where I avoid fights completely to get geared up then I take the fight to the bots and sometimes even other players. I also play in a squad with my brothers and sometimes that's strangely harder because you often get killed trying to revive people and it's harder to stay stealthy.
That it is, I can usually exfil but I have issues sometimes when I pull up to an area where there's tons of AI or a team trying to leave as well. Sucks playing alone.
14:57 *CHAOS!!!* 😱 To be honest though I've been loving DMZ mode. It actually feels dangerous but I love how it actually feels immersive and dangerous when you get in and try to get out without getting blasted by players or A.I. enemies.
I can see DMZ becoming the new GTA online standard with cosmetics missions, raids, property or base etc. Pretty dope considering many of us are casual and can never win a warzone match.
I like dmz so far the only gripe is the loading time at the end of a match. Streamlining the transition between matches would be well recieved. Great vid i learned something, haven't seen a drop bin yet

Special tip for those riot shields AI, try to shoot either the foot when they leave it unguarded or aim for their hand, since they have a gun out and hitting that counts and can kill them
I almost solo extracted the weapon case, juggernaut was on the round observatory, so it was easy to avoid being shot by just headshotting and running, the minigun can't fire in time. Then at the exfill like 20 armored AI showed up and melted me, it was heartbreaking...finding keys and going after those is great...so much to do in this mode, not to mention you're constantly leveling up, it's great...now if they'd just fix the ttk and other small issues in Warzone.

You can exfil by doing the prisoners missions in DMZ too we did it last night.... the chopper that comes to collect the prisoner you just jump on it 👍👍

I wish the cash when you exfil didn't just turn into xp. I'm lvl 72 what do I need xp for I would rather have some kind of market to buy things and have a "hideout" or something to level up or have any kind of progression. There isn't any risk to playing

If you have a friend with this weapon someone can bring in the hazard m13 bring it in run to exfil and then you pick it up and leave. I have helped like 10 people do this like 4-5 mins total time
As a noob who just started playing warzone and dmz it feels less frustrating to get some kills while playing lol loot for a bit then extract that's what makes my day 👍
The one thing i would wish a lot for is to either have the option to purely player against the AI with friends or to at least have an option for others to make it harder to kill you if you try to be "nice". Of course being "nice" in CoD is next to impossible. Same as it was in Sea of Thieves. People be snakes all the time. But still i can dream, ey? I am not good but also not terrible in PvP. I can take out players if i wanted to but i usually try to avoid them. Mostly only kill the other player if he shoots at me first. Otherwise i let you do whatever you want as long as you don't bother me either. Hell i even had a player asking me to help out over proximity voicechat to get his objective done for the SAM site which i gladly did. Only thing i asked for is to not shoot me in my back if i leave. Obviously most of the time though you can not talk to anyone. Neither in chat nor proximity VC. You can not even trust your random teammates all the time. Sadly the CoD community always was and will be very toxic.
Last night I had a team come up and said they were friendly and want it to exfil with us. I said sure and they hoped on. As soon as they hoped on they shot and killed us. Lost everything. Raged quit.

DMZ is fun and slightly awkward for me. I was playing a DMZ match last weekend and I met someone that was about to exfil, I proxy chat him that I was friendly and if we could exfil together. The most wholesome part is just the guy I was int he exfil with is that he didn't try to kill me (especially because if we somehow try to kill each other, there will be no time left to loot the losing player's bag, and it will be nonsense to kill when you can't just loot the enemy anyways). So to me, yeah, it's pretty enjoyable
thanks for the video, i just did my first dmz match to get the m13. multiplayer is dead and doesnt look like improving any time soon so i figured i'd try out dmz as a replacement. my friend and i spawned in to our first match and had no idea what to do or how to find loot. we basically j drove to the radiation zone, wasted all our ammo on the enemies, then drove straight to the nearest extraction point, and got ambushed 🤣. I had no plates, and 20 bullets so we got insta wiped lmao. luckily we got the m13 on our next try, but it inspired me to look into dmz since im thinking about mainly playing dmz during season 2. im tired of playing the same shitty maps over and over and over again, i need something new. the sad part is that ill still have to play multiplayer to level up the lmgs and snipers so i can be better equipped to deal w the longer range stuff

Took a huge break from Warzone 1, so started season 6 of warzone 2. Lost in the sauce on DMZ but this helped a lot.

Probably a good strategy to squad up would be to have a 2 man team go for the case while your 3rd is at the nearest extraction already to save time

Always check bathroom/medical cabinets bcuz u can get stems, self revive, and a revive pistol
Gonna need a updated version in the weapons case and chemist as they both carry ddos devices now to disable nearby vehicles.

When killing the chemist with you’re squad and extract with m13b, then have that person with m13b trade it with another teammate an extract and repeat
just bring a base level M13 in also, any gun you leave with will automatically be unlocked in MWll & warzone.

I think you’re supposed to get weapons and do challenges then extract to keep them/rewards. You can use earned weapons in other modes I think
Also the more gear you extract the stronger you can enter the DMZ each time and wreck weaker players, the point is also for fun😂

DMZ is fun and slightly awkward for me. I was playing a DMZ match last weekend and I met someone that was about to exfil, I proxy chat him that I was friendly and if we could exfil together. The most wholesome part is just the guy I was int he exfil with is that he didn't try to kill me (especially because if we somehow try to kill each other, there will be no time left to loot the losing player's bag, and it will be nonsense to kill when you can't just loot the enemy anyways). So to me, yeah, it's pretty enjoyable
this inspired me to finally try DMZ thank you
They definitely made the radiation zone harder. It's still do-able but gonna have to really coordinate with your team.

thanks for the video, i just did my first dmz match to get the m13. multiplayer is dead and doesnt look like improving any time soon so i figured i'd try out dmz as a replacement. my friend and i spawned in to our first match and had no idea what to do or how to find loot. we basically j drove to the radiation zone, wasted all our ammo on the enemies, then drove straight to the nearest extraction point, and got ambushed 🤣. I had no plates, and 20 bullets so we got insta wiped lmao. luckily we got the m13 on our next try, but it inspired me to look into dmz since im thinking about mainly playing dmz during season 2. im tired of playing the same shitty maps over and over and over again, i need something new. the sad part is that ill still have to play multiplayer to level up the lmgs and snipers so i can be better equipped to deal w the longer range stuff
