- Hi everyone, just popping in to touch base and keep you updated. I picked up what I'm guessing is the flu recently. Many of my friends and family have all had the same thing so it was just a matter of time unfortunately. I seem to have turned a corner but haven't been in any condition to camp this week, despite my best efforts. I hope you all have a great rest of your Sunday and I will keep you updated!

I hope Steve is okay, but Christmas time is very difficult after losing a loved one. I know many people are sick and suffer from depression. Take care Steve.
steve u could literally camp in the woods on ur acreage and a lot of people would tune in. you don't need to worry about "beating the roundabout" so much. hope u feel better soon man.

To be honest Steve I don't feel that you have to always stealth camp. I'd enjoy seeing you camp in a warm cabin or camper in a snowy spot cooking some nice meals for a couple of days. Feel better soon and Happy Christmas!

I think Steve should do a camping video at a friend/relative’s home during Christmas where he makes a shelter in a corner of their lounge and the family carry on with their own activities and ignore Steve and all we see are their feet walking about while Steve is talking to us pretending he’s on his own. 😂 Happy Christmas to all.

I can't speak for others, but personally, I'm here to watch you Steve, and listen to your point of view on life, don't stress about stealth camping, when you find a spot you'll find it, in the meantime what ever content you produce will have my attention. The stealth camping is what caught my attention, but your personality is what's keeping me here.

Absolutely don't worry about outdoing yourself. We're here cuz we find you entertaining whether you're in a roundabout or car camping in a campground. Don't be afraid to repeat themes. Your adventures don't have to be novel every time. Every highway sign you camp behind will have its own challenges and adventures. If your stealth camp is exciting for you, it's exciting for us. Ultimately we just want to be along for the ride. If you're hidden somewhere in plain sight, doesn't matter if you've been in a place like it before. We know you're always trying to up your game. It's ok to pick the low hanging fruit more than once.

I don’t quite know what it is about you but you’re so crazily watchable. It’s like soothing background music that I often come back to when times are feeling busy and stressful. Often one of my kids will out of the blue say hey, let’s watch camping with Steve and you know what, it’s always a great idea

Im dual Canadian New Zealand citizen it would be cool to bring Steve to New Zealand to stealth camp under the Auckland Bridge, on Mount Ruapehu, on Kapiti Island and Somes Island, camp around Porirua and the Paremata Roundabout, on the ferry, in an earthquake damaged building in Christchurch, or maybe he already camped in all these places we just didn’t see him 🤔

Try stealth camping on the roof of a mall or something! Not sure if you have done that already or not. Preferably not in the hottest parts of summer! Lol! If you can figure out a roof that's accessible.

Honestly, what draws me to your channel isn't the risk associated with the spots you camp, it's that you seem like a genuine, down to earth sort of guy who'd be fun to share a camp site and a beer with. I enjoy your "ostentatious camping" content just as much as your stealth camping content. Don't feel limited by one specific style of outing.

My sister has been through the same tragedy with the loss of her daughter and, even through the outpouring os love and support, you can find it tough to keep going. Honestly Steve at this point a lot of your viewers would be happy with a twenty minute "Day in the life" style video of you just doing stuff, doesn't really matter what, whether it's prepping your bag for the next trip, prepping meals etc, we're just here for your personality and vibe. I kinda just pop you on in the background while I'm in the workshop and just listen to you talk.

I've been personally enjoying the videos where you go out to free use cabins and stay. I wouldn't mind some more of those. Not really a stealth camp, but they are really cool to see the stuff people left and what not. Enjoying the content, get well soon.

Well, I'm in a similar flu-ridden situation here in Germany. First my grandparents last weekend, for which my sister and I had to do some shopping over the week. Then she started showing flu symptoms on Wednesday, finally me since Friday. At least my grand parents seem to be over it now and everyone seems to be getting it out of the way before xmas.
A hearty "Get well soon!" to everyone fighting something similar, while the rest will hopefully stay healthy!

I second every person who says I’ll watch literally wherever you camp, stealth or not. Feel better soon! I’d love to see you do another travel trip (like you did with the train and Crazy Neighbor or Mav and the fishing trip) or you and Garbage hunkering down for a meditative stay in the treehouse for some days or an Everglades Chickee, Houseboat in the Keys, etc. We’re all here for you, not the golden roundabout goose egg.

Feel better soon, Steve! I have had the same sickness mess at least three times the past three months. Electrolytes, Tea, sleep, vitamins. The body will do the rest.
Had Covid 2.5 weeks ago, now stomach flu. Found your videos and they have really kept me going. I can't imagine having to film and produce while sick. We all get it. Take your time to heal. Your stealth camping doesn't have to be about "topping" the last one. We enjoy all of them.
That's probably still just covid as it's typically a gastrointestinal virus.
Hope steve is ok. He said there was a video 3 weeks ago but heard nothing since. Sincerely hope he is ok 🙏🏼
