Bravo - such a moving performance of part of one of my favorite plays. Despite my familiarity with the monologue, I was deeply moved.

I'm considering this as an audition monologue for a theater / musical acting piece but I don't know if its suitable if that makes sense, do you understand what I'm trying to say?
The musical is Footloose but ever since I've heard this monologue in Wonder I've always loved this

Hi! I first heard this monologue from Wonder too & was absolutely CAPTIVATED. I think if you feel the monologue fits the specific character you’re auditioning for, go for it. However, since footloose is a musical, I would find something that matches the tone better. If they want you to perform two pieces. I would do this one, as well as a happy-go-lucky type monologue. Show them your range. You’ll end up doing the right thing. Be confident! And SHINE!🌟

@@aleshahbrown I actually ended up not auditioning because by the time I got home they already started (it was at the other high school in our school district) and many of my other friends that go to my school told me that they got there like about 10 or 15 minutes after it started and I was already stressed that day and it was singing, the first day and did I mention I have extreme social anxiety
