Charleston, West Virginia | 4k Night Drive

Driving from the hoods to downtown of Charleston, West Virginia. Population is 45,616. Poverty level is 19.8%. Crime is 104% OVER the national average. Charleston is home a ton of amenities and things to do, but it has its share of problems. Let's take a look at what it looks like at night in some of the worst areas, then I'll do a downtown drive for a bit. 4k night drive.

Lived there in the early 90's. Loved that town, but haven't been back since the early 2000's. Worked at a radio station called Super 102. Great video!

Overall, not that bad. The downtown looks nice. But their population continues to sink. A city can't always sustain its economy if the biggest employers are always schools, hospitals, banks and the government.

For the most part it is, I never encounter much of an issue when im in that area. It's improved from before but still has a way to go overall.
