not in uk and europe, where image is second to great songs. let Me Come Over was the breakthrough, but 3 A+ albums in a row, especially this one made it clear the states were more interested in garbage like Alice In Chains , Limp Biskit or the terrible Warped Tour crap. Sorry Pearl Jam, these guys were the real deal...and live, left it all on the stage. at least they were appreciated across the pond. The first two lps were great, but they really nailed it getting away from mascis producing--they became Buffalo Tom and not Dinosaur Jr Jr
Brilliant band, brilliant song. Their first couple of albums kept me going on long drives up and down the East Coast when I was touring in the late 90's.
there was no better place to be in your mid 20's high on dope n high on 90's music than in the 90's inNorth QLD Australia..the bestest memories...beautiful song
not many songs can actually convey an entire decade or a specific period of time like this song does. it just has that feeling working thru all the notes, chords and lyrics.
Wow I love the way you described it. I know exactly what youre saying. Theres a few songs from this time period that are hard-to listen to because the nostalgia overbearing
Such a great band. First two records were on my turntable for months at a time back in the day. Classic example of why radio has been a joke for decades. Just 1 of many great bands from the 80s and 90s who slipped thru the cracks. Grunge before grunge became a marketing term for selling a line of clothes.
This is without a speck of doubt their best effort. There really isn't even a 'second place', really. Nothing. Thus, in a certain sense, they were a one-hit-wonder--sans the actual hit-status this track deserved, obviously
Buffalo Tom got better after the early albums, starting with the masterpiece Let Me Come Over. They never looked back and are clearly a distinctive albeit grossly overlooked band (in their home country--they found the proper appreciation in the UK/Europe).
is that an awkward position for a pedal board? It seems like an awkward position for a pedal board. Chris is up there with Mike Mills as a backing vocalist.
This is their best song imo. We're in our 50's now and we still can't get through this without tears. Great song great band great memories.
48 here and same. It's so gorgeous. I remember feeling that beautiful sadness when I first heard it, too. Nothing like it.
one of the most overlooked bands of the last 20 yrs

One of my favorite albums of all time - Sleepy Eyed by Buffalo Tom. tons of good songs
That distinct, wonderful, stripped down early '90's sound! Early '90's and late '60's were the greatest rock eras ever!!
joe strummer you said it
YES! YES! YES!
Miss you too Joe Strummer
That 90s guitar tone it does the same thing to me
best trio ever.
my god. bill was unbelievable here. he is 1000% into this song.
i can watch this until the end of my life.
thanks for uploading this beauty
this is the best song to listen to when coming back from the last summer camping trip. BuffTom all the way!
just beautiful

Or Boston :)
and seeing BT live.
GOD THIS IS MY FAVORITE BUFFALO TOM SONG!!!
By your name, I'd guess it's the other way around.
BT always sounds so good live! Favorite local band.
I first heard about Buffalo Tom on My so-called life and I didn't even think it was a real band, but i looked it up and I absolutely love their music.
I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't know this song. Watching this makes me so happy inside. Wonderful song Buffalo Tom.
Love this song!
Great Band!

This band has always been awesome, and it sucks for them to not be so popular like other bands that are not as good.
This song is great. My favorite BT song is Sundress
No less than great.
@xsoundgarden Agreed. I would happily live the 90's all over again.

Made me laugh, made me cry.
It seems like just yesterday when I first saw them at The Paradise Boston.
memories
Beautifulllllllllllll song 👏👏👏
Otima banda,muito bom mesmo!
@scottymacIII absolutely !! These guys are just great musicians
@malchick79 wow same here...I was 15 in 1995...right when tenth grade was starting :)
This is without a speck of doubt their best effort. There really isn't even a 'second place', really. Nothing. Thus, in a certain sense, they were a one-hit-wonder--sans the actual hit-status this track deserved, obviously
Maybe there was something missing in the charisma department, but these guys made lots of great music
They are real people writing real songs, not celebrities. There's nothing missing here whatsoever.
This is so awesome to listen to when Fall Approaches. What effects is Bill using? wow... Tremolo, Chorus? very cool...
Ahhh Birdbrain,Eneny...its got j Mascis written all over it. love Buffalo Tom
Lee Hopkins cuz J produced it
Definitely gives that album a less polished sound...which I like. Dinosaur is probably my favorite band all-time
Lol and yes I was aware of that.

how good is that
; ) that's right!

wanted to be husker du, but they couldn't be husker du.
They did a good job trying though
what? Do you know the music of either band? Obviously not....
eddie collins I think all bands want to be husker du...
You can say that about Birdbrain, but you can't say that about Sleepy Eyed.
hu huh hu huh
your dumb beavis
Whatever they did, it was great.
