Liz Dargan's god given voice.
This is some serious sanging right here ‼️🎤 DROP 👏👏👏👏
I just wanna know what Mrs kitty parham is thinking lol
I did know Liz Dargan was ever a member of the group. Thanks for this great video.
2:00 (Kitty's) face is "when the background steals the AdLib the (soloist) should have done.." Liz Dargan is awesome, I love how this classic was rearranged, way before its time... Mattie is one of those BG singers that you had to watch out for, she will steal your song.. Those runs were before their time as well.. people are doing those runs in 2016
Dang Frances hitting that low C3
Love it so glad to see Liz in her later career before her death. The piano's player afro is classic!
+Timothy Williams Kitty look like she not here for Liz 1:50 when mattie starts to ad lib in the background that smile says destroy her.....lol
+MrKITCHENTALK Ooooo. But either Kitty was tired or not feeling well or she just was NOT feeling Liz at all lol
Liz Dargan was awesome
Liz Dargan waz the bomb especially when she sang background for Inez Andrews. This was in 1972 i have the entire concert.
What was the pianist's name?? BTW That Liz was a force to be reckoned with.. Much like a light skinned Ruth Davis
They sang that!!
sing hattie!!!!!!! love you liz but i quickened lol
+MrKITCHENTALK Kitty is low-key petty lol
Yes, lol and look at the singer on the end, I caught her looking back at kitty! I wonder what that was about?😂 Nevertheless they sung them songs like nobody else could!☺
YES!! SING LADIES!!💙😊🙌
Had it not been for him was originally done by the Roberta Martin singers.
Is it just me, or does kitty resemble eartha Kitt (I hope I am spelling it right, lol😂) just a little?
Does anybody know where I can find any interviews or writings on Liz Dargan? Maybe living relatives?
My cousin!
LIZZZZZZZZZZ!
Good old flat footed sAngin'!
She sounds like Ruth Davis
Who’s the lady on the second song, I love ooooo and ahh they do in that first one
can someone give me the words for the first song
Pull up THE Roberta martin singers had it not been for him song. Its much slower. Thats how I learned words to the whole Song!
Kitty had to be sick or something. Because kitty would never stop singing unless she wasn’t feeling well. But she would still show up. So she said in one of her interviews.
Zhair Miller not anymore it was a couple of years back. It was a recorded interview idk who it was with but she had the interview a year before she passed.
Hey if you mean the Linwood Heath interview from 1990, it's still on here. Not sure if that's the one you meant because that one is a few years before she passed.
Btw, is that Dorothy Blackwell standing center?
woodey grayson that was Sadye Keys I know spelling may be a little off
on the first song ,, i could'nt understand a dang thang they were saying, okay get it togather ladies.
Pianist is killing it. They sound so unique and amazing.
