He also helped me walk across the stage at graduation a week later. We didnt tell our families what we were going to do. June 2017 was the first time in 3 years that i have walked. High school is your first hit of reality whenever your a senior. Especially when it comes to graduating. You just know your leaving behind close friends, girlfriends, boyfriends and the teen life is coming to an end. I think being a teen is so underrated because you experience so much but then it’s just the beginning of ur life
I'm going to give you some advice you didn't ask for but I wish someone would have told me as a freshman. Now more then every since I graduate HS in may. Do things in highschool that will make you look back at it and smile. Go to the sports games, thank that teacher that has helped you they will love it, enjoy the time you get with the people that make you a better person. The test will suck and the all nighters will make you want to stay home and have you wish for senior year. Take it from me use the time you have now to make these years worth it make moments that will make you smile and cry. High school is 4 years long then EVERYTHING changes so make the most of this time now. It’s not going to be the best four years of your life there is greater things to come, but still make them count!
Nothing like it. I went on to play college ball and did this same thing as a senior in college for football. Let me tell you my high school one is the one I cherish more.
High school is so hard to let go... so many memories. I wish I could have more time. I wish I could have been active in 9th grade year. Walking through the halls with friends, eating chicken on chicken day, having teachers that care about you and Friday night games. Worst/best day is graduation day so excited to go out in the world but so afraid of never seeing familiar faces again.
I feel that pain. 7 years ago was the last time I played with my boys. A memory I will always have with me is standing on that 50 knowing it would be the last time
I’m a 2020 graduate, as a kid all I wanted was to get up that stage and be able to graduate Infront of everyone instead this pandemic ruined my whole high school year. I didn’t expect my high school to end like this but God has his reasons. Pray and have faith, soon this pandemic will be over..
i’m a junior, i’m getting ever closer to graduating. these are the best years of my childhood and i just wish i could finish it the way i started, sports and being in person.
I remember when I was a senior playing in the state championship. It didn’t hit me until coach gave us a pre game speech and that’s when the tears started rolling. I know this feeling. I felt it 💯
I just graduated 2 days ago , & omg it’s the worst feeling , we might not liked school during its time but at the end , the time your all in your caps and gowns it’s when it hits ! 😞😫 the people we spent time with the first 18 years of our lives will go to separate way forever !! So if your in HS right now enjoy it !

I would do anything to play one more game man. For y’all kids still playing make sure y’all bust your ass every moment you get. Leave the field with no regrets.
Those memories are forever. It’s the kind of stuff you tell your kids about. If I had the chance to go back I would have busted my ass off and got into shape and played at a higher level that should be your motivation seeing this if you still play. I played 10 years and in a large part they made me who I am.
Ya know this hit so hard. I played hockey from age 2-22 and my last junior hockey game,it all dawned on me that "this is over",i never really thought that day would come, same with school. I miss every kid even the ones i hated. Every one always told me "enjoy it cause life is fast",i never cared, always thought I'd be living in those moments, well i was wrong. 10 years out of high school and i still feel like my first day of kindergarten was yesterday. :(
I was in band and I remember marching my last football game those 4 years flew by, but I made the most of my years in high school no regrets miss them like crazy.
Sad to think there are kids all over the country that are missing out on all of this. One of my daughters didn't get to walk for high school graduation last year and my other daughter will probably not be able to walk for college graduation this year. I know it isn't the end of the world and there are more important matters to consider. But these are once in a lifetime moments they're missing. You don't get them back. Once you missed em, you missed em.

It started me just messing around trying out for my senior football team as a junior to be kicker then I made it and realized how close we got were family. Just finished this season we lost in the semi finals of a city playoffs. 2 more seasons man 😞
I’m a freshman and I regret not playing freshman after watching all these vendors abt this I will play for the rest of my highschool career and hopefully college. I miss walking out for the last time for my ayf leave (American youth football). And how much I loved it I love celebrating with our brothers and the crowd cheering for us. Our last season we made the playoffs we beat one of our rivals for the first time in 9 years and it was one hell of a journey. I didn’t want to put in the effort all summer but my best friend plays freshman and he still found time to do everything and I’m sad I didn’t realize that I could’ve played freshman and still ha free time. I regret not playing this year and I will for the next 3 years of highschool. Football is more then just a game it always have been and always will be.
I regret not playing as a freshman too. I'm a sophomore rn and I'm playing this year and for the rest of high school. You'll get over it when the next season starts tho and make sure you're putting as much work in as possible.
Football is one of those sports, when it’s done it’s done. You can go out and play catch with a baseball, takes swings, go out and shoot hoops. But you can recreate football. Man I miss these days!
Oof. I remember the feeling when I did this 2 years ago. I played football from age 6 through senior year. It’s a weird feeling, hard to describe, but you feel lost a little bit. I appreciate all the memories I made with my teammates throughout the years. The ONLY thing I miss about high school is playing football.
I remember my last high school football game we were in the playoffs which we lost man I I literally cried like a baby knowing it was the last time that I get to be on the field with friends and family
shit i remember the day we lost in section semi’s, i knew i was going to play at the next level, but when i was taken out and knew i wasn’t going back in, i completely lost it. so did all of my other 25 (senior) brothers that year. we all tried holding our tears in during our postgame discussion with our head coach, and once he started crying, we all did at the same time. there’s just something about having a feeling of knowing that a certain game is the end of your high school athletic career, you could be the happiest guy alive and it would still drive you to tears. the brotherhood was strong, and that’s what mattered. there’s a lot of memories that are made during friday night lights, and they last a lifetime
I might of been around the most unemotional people here in Texas but not a single one of us cried our last game. We went undefeated and went to state the 4 years i were there and all of us were ready for the next step of our lives but glad these kids had their fun time at high school
As junior in high school this really hit me cause football taught many things and it’s sad whenever you have to leave it. Watching this video made a tear come out😔
I had to stop playing after my junior year, I didn’t get to suit up in my last game because I tore a ligament in my knee. I had to many concussions in too short of a time, I saw several doctors and none would clear me to play. If you’re still playing ball, lay it all out on the line, give it 110% every single day, on or off season. I can personally say that its been six years since i’ve been on the gridiron, and the lessons I learned there, have stayed with me, and probably will for the rest of my life. Unless you’ve played ball, you have no idea how much that brotherhood means, or how tough it is to say goodbye.
My boyfriend cried for hours after his senior walk on his last game. Everyone there was crying. They had an undefeated season and set so many records for the school. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more of a United team than his.
Its a beginning of another journey. It means so much because it is a big transition phase from boy to man. Most guys waste this time being bullies or following the crowd when instead you can strive to discover your true self
Class of 04 Harlingen High..... OIF veteran... Life takes you to the unexpected so enjoy and remember but learn from those moments good or bad. Twist and turns on the road of life is what creates opportunity for what you can become....
We didn't have a tradition like this but everyone of the seniors knew it was the last time we'd ever play organized football. I was offered a small amount to play Division III ball, but declined. Instead I played baseball at a D II school. My last football game was always special though even though we lost.
I wish i didnt quit my junior year, and gave it one last try my senior year, i made it so far just to give up, i would have definitely took that route im sure i wouldnt have gotten myself into so much trouble
I know how this feels....took me days to get over my last high-school game at home...make it so bad we lost by 2 points to the team that won state that year
I’m a junior right now, got a spring football season coming up soon due to covid, and then hopefully a fall season following after in a few months, haven’t been through this yet, and I’m not looking forward to it, nothing better than high school football.
One year youre 17 playing under the lights having the time of your life. In a blink of an eye you're 25 and still using the lessons you learned on the gridiron. Enjoy every second. Play hard. Play fast. And have as much fun as humanly possible.
I wished I could go back I. Time abs relive my years all over. Damn it goes by so fast, the guy below is so right all I wanted to do was get outta high school, whew no no, no want to play 2-4 more games. It went by so fast, I regret not doing a few things, skipping a few practices, looking back we played hard but not as hard as we could really thought about things after the game We were good but how good could we hv really been lol god, I miss those years. Kids reading this, take it all in, never exhale all the way or you’ll be outta high school, life so t. I joy ride for sure, life is a hungry beast
im a sophmore but on friday night we lost on a last play 4&goal from the 1 in the section ship. seeing my brothers sitting on turf crying made me cry. so close but so far.
nah even the ones who go on to play in college are still gonna be sad. highschool football is a different type of experience. a lot of nfl players say that they have better memories playing on a friday night than they do in college or in the nfl. it's just something about ur friends and classmates in a stadium with ur teammates that's different
High school football is the best experience ever and sadly I heard “five more minutes” by Scotty McCreery for the first time the night before my last game and it killed me it was harder for me to see the time running out than anything else but yea high school football is special
I'm a senior this year my season ended 2 weeks ago but my team made school history being the first football team in school history to play a playoff game it was so sad for it to end it's a very odd feeling

Still remember my freshman year like if it was yesterday. High school is like a blink of an eye sooner or later you realize your graduating!
I remember my last walk on the field. It’s been 21 years and I still miss those Friday night lights.
It started me just messing around trying out for my senior football team as a junior to be kicker then I made it and realized how close we got were family. Just finished this season we lost in the semi finals of a city playoffs. 2 more seasons man 😞
I’m sophomore sorry I mixed it up
I’m a freshman and I regret not playing freshman after watching all these vendors abt this I will play for the rest of my highschool career and hopefully college.
Jash couldn’t agree more
Bro enjoy every single moment of it. Idc how hard it gets it’s all part of it and u just gotta enjoy it
@@YA-fx8dv right now I love it, I made bonds with my teammates and had a emotional night with them.
@@jash582 hey Jash I just wanted to ask and see how you are doing with football?
Small class... Still feels the same. You never get those days back boys. Give your all each and every snap.
Such a right of passage ! How awesome they’ve been supported by family and friends! A memory for life
hey guys don’t be sad y’all will have the best luck in the near future
This is sad for me to watch
Giving me chills.. I remember these moments like it was yesterday nothing but LOVE !
I might of been around the most unemotional people here in Texas but not a single one of us cried our last game. We went undefeated and went to state the 4 years i were there and all of us were ready for the next step of our lives but glad these kids had their fun time at high school
I was on the drill team but had to quit my senior year. I miss these days.
As junior in high school this really hit me cause football taught many things and it’s sad whenever you have to leave it. Watching this video made a tear come out😔
After losing in the quarterfinals to a team we beat earlier in the season really sucks. As a freshman, I do not look forward to my last walk.
Wow! 3 years ago. They’re about to do it again in college.
What a great ceremony, last walk offs really hit home cause you know there will never be another next year for the seniors
This makes me feel so sad bro it hit me so hard
Going into my senior year of high school one last journey with my brothers i will miss all you guys one last ride💯🙏
This is such a bitter sweet moment for any sports player every memory reliving in your head the emotional journey comes to a end
We didn't have a tradition like this but everyone of the seniors knew it was the last time we'd ever play organized football. I was offered a small amount to play Division III ball, but declined. Instead I played baseball at a D II school. My last football game was always special though even though we lost.
wow that was powerful
This is why the sport of football is one of the greatest
Scotty Snipes nah baseball
@@biggiesmalls8767 nah baseball is only mildly interesting if your actually playing it...so boring to watch
@@biggiesmalls8767 not saying football is interesting either😂 but it's a little more interesting than baseball
Cross country for the win
One of my football coaches told me this a team is one thing but a family is another and what them boys have is a family 🥺🥺
Enjoy every moment, not just in high school time flies by.
I wish i didnt quit my junior year, and gave it one last try my senior year, i made it so far just to give up, i would have definitely took that route im sure i wouldnt have gotten myself into so much trouble
I know how this feels....took me days to get over my last high-school game at home...make it so bad we lost by 2 points to the team that won state that year
I’m planning on playing all throughout my high school years and I’m dreading this day.
Bryson Jourdain I mean I’m prolly not gonna get it cuz of COVID but either way I’m terrified for my senior year
13 years old and i dont want it to end
I’m a junior right now, got a spring football season coming up soon due to covid, and then hopefully a fall season following after in a few months, haven’t been through this yet, and I’m not looking forward to it, nothing better than high school football.
One year youre 17 playing under the lights having the time of your life. In a blink of an eye you're 25 and still using the lessons you learned on the gridiron. Enjoy every second. Play hard. Play fast. And have as much fun as humanly possible.
ENJOY HIGH SCHOOL. IT WAS THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE...... I WILL NEVER FORGET .. MAKE DREAMS N MEMORIES WORTH IT...
This made me cry because last year we made it to championships and lost and this year was my last and I tried so hard but still lost
Seeing them all cry made me cry 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺❤❤❤
Boys of Fall. I will never forget.
I wished I could go back I. Time abs relive my years all over. Damn it goes by so fast, the guy below is so right all I wanted to do was get outta high school, whew no no, no want to play 2-4 more games. It went by so fast, I regret not doing a few things, skipping a few practices, looking back we played hard but not as hard as we could really thought about things after the game
We were good but how good could we hv really been lol god, I miss those years. Kids reading this, take it all in, never exhale all the way or you’ll be outta high school, life so t. I joy ride for sure, life is a hungry beast
i remember my last game... It didnt hit me until I got home and I just broke down remembering ill never be in that locker room again
im a sophmore but on friday night we lost on a last play 4&goal from the 1 in the section ship. seeing my brothers sitting on turf crying made me cry. so close but so far.
I thought this was only for the people who didn’t receive offers so it’s their last game ever
nah even the ones who go on to play in college are still gonna be sad. highschool football is a different type of experience. a lot of nfl players say that they have better memories playing on a friday night than they do in college or in the nfl. it's just something about ur friends and classmates in a stadium with ur teammates that's different
High school football is the best experience ever and sadly I heard “five more minutes” by Scotty McCreery for the first time the night before my last game and it killed me it was harder for me to see the time running out than anything else but yea high school football is special
nah its for everyone
like in rudy lol but he actually ended up playing college ball so not a good example
Bro I’m so sad 😭 rip my senior year
I wasn't in football but I was in band and those 4 years in high school were the best years of my life they go by so fast so dont blink.
A senior that played freshman and sophomore year and wish I played till my senior year I miss my brothers
I'm a senior this year my season ended 2 weeks ago but my team made school history being the first football team in school history to play a playoff game it was so sad for it to end it's a very odd feeling
I’m 35 and I still remember my last high school and last college game. This is a very cool ceremony for the guys.
Soccer, tennis, Frisbee, choir, last moments as a senior class really hurts man... Live the moments in life causes theirs no Re- doing this life
This make me tear up, I member my last time I was on the field my last game, my last throw
