- I trained an AI model on Liam Gallagher's Post 2008 voice, and used it to sing over Noel's Post-Oasis Solo tracks!
I love the idea that most of this album was already written with Liam's voice in mind to sing on (and it probably was). But of course, things happened and you know the rest. It's really interesting to me to hear a kind of 'what might have been' scenario, for if these tracks has remained Oasis tracks.
You're hearing a combination of Noel's original vocal and my vocal, running through five separate vocal models all trained on specific clips that give softer or beltier tones. The reason I use my own vocal rather than all Noel is to add some of the specific vocal articulations that make Liam's singing voice unique. Also, the AI model inference doesn't do very well with vocals ripped straight from the original songs.
As mentioned before, I've now recorded vocal takes and done inference for Noel's entire solo career so far, and I'll be uploading them all soon. Get subscribed so you don't miss the rest!

Liam Gallagher singing songs written by Noel Gallagher is how Oasis songs connect for me. Individually with their respective solo careers there is always something slightly off kilter with that connection. Listening to all your ai songs that connection is there again and my heart is full of nostalgia and optimism. They may never reconcile but would love Noel to write some songs for Liam. If that never happens then we have you to thank for filling that void.
C'est incroyable. Liam's sneer at "shiver" is exactly how I'd think he would sing it and what I thought was missing from the original song. I really believe this song was made for Liam's voice

These are really great! I tbink the fact you run your own vocal through it (no idea what your own voice is like) probably goes towards accounting for yhe superiority of your AI fakes than the majority of other i hear. There are always points where i feel like Liam would attack the notes in certain parts more, but on yours this is rarely the case. Yours have much more dynamics. Id love to hear Freaky Teeth and Wandeeing Star

How, just how does it replicate Liam's slightly offnote off-beat delayed slides, sneer and swagger? Singing the same notes is one thing, replicating tone is very difficult and it's amazing to hear. It's as if it's the man himself recorded this

To keep it a “real” Oasis album you should leave a couple of tracks to Noel on Vocals: maybe you should work on the arrangements for them in order to make them sounding more Oasisy-vibe than the originals…I’m sure it would come out a great album. Cheers mate.

@@mtz65goldy21 exactly, or maybe "Stop the Clocks" might have had some kind of a duet vocal between the two? I'm thinking of "if I had a gun", as you said "the death of you and me" and "broken arrow"

They all are! Do The Damage and The Right Stuff are interesting challenges, since they are essentially duets with another vocal an octave up. I'm pretty sure they're female vocals, but I haven't checked the track credits recently....
@@StarShaped_Tambourine Sounds a bit like Noel falsetto and a classic SOTSOG era mellotron in there too, I reckon a growling Liam (in his live register) would sound absolutely amazing teamed up with Noel in the higher range!
