Hobbiton is simply beautiful. Loved the way how they have maintained the entire are. Their staff is so friendly! It is always a pleasure to see Hobbiton again & again! Thank you for making me relive the memories! :D
Absolutely love your sound design and cinematics! Hobbiton is a place I've long wanted to visit.. and I live so close, too! You really showed the place beautifully. I really thought the entrance fee would be higher!
I have never seen Lord of the Rings so this tour would be for me. But I do know it has to be exciting! I’ve been on Game of Thrones tours and loved every minute of it! Thanks for sharing this adventure!
I was there ages ago right after the films were made (actually filming was still happening) and it was nowhere near as built up. Neat to see it in 2019!
Definitely Watch Hobbiton first and do the tour. That's right! One of my friends recently done this trip and I have a clear picture of it. Thanks for another interesting video Zena.
Nice - I visited Hobbiton back in 2007, and it looked completely different than what you showed me. Thanks for the quick update - maybe I'll make my way back to the movie set if I ever be back to Matamata! You have some great shots at the end to show how beautiful the place is - and love the filter that you used! Keep up the great work! Michael and Halef :)
I've gotta say, it's pretty cute there! I like the way you captured all the litte doors too. Can you walk around by yourself during the tour? It looked like you weren't close to any other people.
it looks like a cool tour to go to! i shamelessly haven't watched the LOTR and Hobbit series, hopefully soon and before going there haha. thanks for the information with the length of the tour and how much the entrance fee is! the houses look so cool. love the vibes of the place. love how there are drinks that are offered after the tour. thanks for sharing!
YES! This is on my bucket list for sure. I'm jealous that you've been so many times! Really enjoyed your cinematics again. Amazing how much detail there is in the sets. Do you get any free time to walk around or do you have to stay with your tour guide? Cool that there's alcohol included!
This is so cool! I am a huge fan of LOTR, I am quite envious that you have been here 3 times now. 84 dollars sounds quite expensive for a 2 hour tour. Can you hang around after the tour or do you have to leave? Amazing cinematic footage and good music choice too.
How much does that entrance fee translate into USD? April has yet to see any of the movies, can you believe that?! Cool shot at 4:23. Looks quite lovely there!
Summer is pretty busy. But there are times that it is not that busy. The three times I've been here, it is not super busy. The bus is not full. You can pick your tour time too. The best time to go to is the first trip if you want to have that perfect shots.
Yes, I recommend driving to the set area because the views are beautiful going there. It is around 45mins-1hr drive from Auckland. But there are also organized tours going there.
The house of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins. Nice to see. Thanks for sharing.
Hobbiton is simply beautiful. Loved the way how they have maintained the entire are. Their staff is so friendly! It is always a pleasure to see Hobbiton again & again! Thank you for making me relive the memories! :D
It is indeed beautiful and magical. Fabulous that they left this set intact, and didn't take it down as they usually do after filming.
Woah this is soo beautiful

A cool look behind the scenes into the movie making. Glad they kept it around and not just disassemble it after the shoot.

Thank you! I agree, before I did the tour the first time, I watched LOTR 1 again to appreciate the place.
I went to Scotland not knowing who is queen the Mary of Scots and now I am regret things I didn’t pay attention back then.

I think a lot of people who visited this place haven't either. When I first visited the first, I watched LOTR 1 again just to get a feel for it.

Unfortunately, you have to stay with your tour guide. You cannot walk around by yourself. Sad.
Wandering Zena that's a shame - you still got some cool shots without people though!
Take care your tour sis I'm done na po

How busy is this place? I can imagine after Lord of the Rings this place is massive in tourism

Great video, thanks for sharing! If planning a trip, what is the easiest way to get to the location? Is it driveable from a major city? -Howard
Yes, I recommend driving to the set area because the views are beautiful going there. It is around 45mins-1hr drive from Auckland. But there are also organized tours going there.
😊😊😊
Ganda naman jan.nawa loobin ni Lord na makarating ako jan. Bakit ba tinawag na NEW ZEALAND yan. Dahil ba ito ay BAGONG SILYADONGLUPA?🤣🤣🤣
