Fun fact: breaking the fourth wall isn't just for narration, it's actually one of his superpowers! He knows he's just in a story and we're all watching/reading/playing.
Another fun fact: Teenage Longest Name Ever's powers in the movie weren't her actual powers from the comics. They took another character's (Cannonball's) kinetic energy powers and gave it to the on-screen TNW character. It always hits me a little weird that with all the ways they tried to stay faithful to the comics for characters, they completely diverged from the source here.
Lots of reactors who don't quite understand Deadpool immediately, and understandably, jump to the notion that he looks like a burn victim. The reality, or fictionality, of the character is that his "cells are fighting his cancer as fast as it can form" That is what his skin is supposed to show, his body is actively fighting the cancer to the point where he's been described as having an almost animated appearance from the tumors moving about.
It's more like his healing factor creates more cells that end up feeding the cancer, which in turn makes his whole body riddled with cancer cells. It can't kill him since it's healing way faster than the cancer can kill him, so the cancer cells are purely a visual illness which makes him look like a living raw meatball of a man.
yeah, im pretty sure there was a comic where, someone tried to clone his powers, but since they didnt have the cancer to keep his regen in check, they all just grew into blobs and blew up or something, the cancer and his healing factor are always pushing against each other, and he is in the middle
Furthermore, since his brain cells are also regenerating, that is, constantly changing all the time, that explains his madness and why he is immune to telepathic powers.
@@sarmientojosesarmiento8768 Is there an explanation for why he's able to break the fourth wall? Like some in-universe thing that explains why he knows he's in a comic?

When Deadpool loses a body part, it has to regenerate slowly, basically, as you said from the beginning. I give Ryan Reynolds credit because he recreates Deadpool's mutation but not as bad as in the comics because he looks like a zombie when drawn. Negasonic Teenage Warhead's powers in the comics were mainly telekinetic based. They changed them to be the same as another comic character, Cannonball, instead of using the actual character.
NTW has similar powers to Gambit in that she can change kinetic force into explosive force, as opposed to Gambit's potential energy into kinetic energy
Before this movie, Negasonic Teenage Warhead only appeared in one comic book, and she was killed off right away. It's how her rights came cheap, and they were allowed to do whatever they wanted with the character.
Fun fact, when Wade and Weasel are in the bar joking about how ugly Wade is now it is not scripted. Both Reynolds and Miller made it all up on the fly. If you watch the out takes you can see it actually goes on a lot longer with both of them making a bunch of jokes. Also, and this amazed me when I read it, the entire movie was shot in just 48 days. For a Hero flick that is damned fast.
If you paid close attention, you would notice that Wade would have found Francis faster if he had asked the thugs "Where's Ajax?" Since none of the people he was asking knew Ajax's real name is Francis, they actually didn't know who Wade was looking for.
My headcannon is that Wade knew this but just to be even more petty he address him as Francis to his instead of Ajax. "Not liking the dish soap shit now are ya , Palmolive." -Deadpool probably
Fun fact: during the beginning where it was 12 bullets, it was originally supposed to be 16 bullets but because of budget constraints they had to make it only 12 and add him shooting that guy two more times
The reason Deadpool’s physical abilities and shots are better is because he healing factor heals literally everything. He has no muscle tension, no lactic acid, he’s in such peak human condition that it actually puts him above normal humans. As well as having faster reflexes and very very low tier 6th sense. They don’t include it in the movie instead opting to go with a different reason but comic book wise the reason he can’t die is a curse placed on him by Thanos.
I was going to mention that: it IS one - and it isn't...there was some issue with that, a copyright, or something, so they made it sort of resemble one, but not entirely. Hence, the pieces of "normal" aircraft all over the place, and no pieces of any S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft.
hey btw it wasnt the lack of oxygen that did that to wade. it was his mutation, the way I understand it works is it keeps him right on the edge of death from his cancer but always is healing so he turns out like that. which is the worst outcome + mutation of his cancer.
I get a massive kick out of the part where Deadpool says, "Wait!! You're probably wondering why the red suit? Well, that's so bad guys don't see me bleed. *(points to one of the armed thugs)* This guy's got the right idea; he wore the brown pants." 😅🤣 I swear, Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. He nailed the character so damn well that we forgot about the atrocity that was the Green Lantern movie.
Or that first appearance of Ryan Renolds playing Wade Wilson in that _Wolverine Origins_ movie we're not talking about, even Marvel has wiped it off the X-Men timeline. The Wade Wilson part was okay, when he was just The Merc with a Mouth, a mercenary without any superpowers. But _Wolverine Origins_ really botched the Weapon X Project part, and that freakish pale teleporting guy with blades in his arms and mouth sewn-shut they tried to sell us as "Deadpool" and who gets beheaded by Wolverine in the end of the movie.... nope. Reynolds hates that role.
So the original Deadpool is indeed a cancer patient, but the experiment that gave him his regeneration also affected his cancer cells, and essentially his body is entirely cancer now. That's why his skin looks the way it does, because he's Cancer Man. And the fourth wall breaks are because the cancer in his brain. He realizes he's a comic book/video game/movie character. That's why he also has the 2 different "voices" (Yellow and White narration boxes) in his head. Edit: And Wade kissed Jared's cheek because Deadpool is canonically bi. Or rather, pan. He'll go for anyone. Also, gotta make Jared worry for the rest of his life about some hard spots from a guy that held a knife to him :B

Just to throw this out there, there's a few "for the fans" easter eggs sprinkled through the movie. First one that comes to mind is that he mentions "Yeah, like I've been bitten by a radioactive Shar-pei" and he later references Ryan Reynolds (obviously the actor playing DP). In the comics, long before the idea of an actual Deadpool movie, perhaps before the idea of an X-Men movie, Deadpool describes his appearance under the mask as "a cross between Ryan Reynolds and a Shar-pei". Second is when Aj... Francis mentions, "When I'm done your body parts will have to grow back you." I forget exactly when, but this came up in the comics, his body parts can grow back full copies of Deadpool, though they tend to be mindless shells. I had a couple more examples on deck but seem to have forgotten them... hmm... why is the rum gone?
The Second one is said by Francis during the Final Battle on the Helicarrier "when I'm done your body parts will have to grow back you", Deadpool responds "That was a good one" then looks at the Camera and comments further "Yeah, that actually was a good one" or something along those lines
I loved that Deadpool game. I think i'd gone my whole life without any exposure to Deadpool as a character. Then playing that game (not knowing about his sarcasm and constant 4th wall breaks) man... what an experience
It was because of this film being R-rated we got Logan. Although I love seeing Colossus in full organic metal form it always surprised me they didn't let him change back to his human form sometimes.
It's because they used different people to play Colossus: *-A guy who was the model for the face* *-A 7ft actor (wearing 12" platform shoes) for the motion capture* *-And another actor was the voice.*
Technically, this movie puts Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and X-Men Cinematic Universe at the same time. The final fight is at the ruins of the Triskelion from Captain America: Winter Soldier.
fun fact: deadpool doesnt have super healing but rather cell regeneration at a crazy level, this means hes just regenerating cancer cells faster then they can kill him. this also means every time he gets cut, stabbed or shot the wounds are replaced with cancerous tissue
Francis/Ajax gave himself a similar regeneration factor as Deadpool. After all, in the comics the Weapon X Project used DNA from Wolverine to give the non-powered Wade Wilson regeneration powers.
my mom used to say this movie and Logan is too brutal and r rated so i probably shouldn’t watch it (i was underage) but i love marvel so i did and THIS MOVIE IS HILARIOUS
Fun fact: the reason why he looks like that is because his healing more or less mixed with the cancer work much faster but his healing factor works with and against it if that makes sense he won’t die from it but it’s still in him
I love that they found a character to get Gina into the movie, but...If power levels were anywhere near the comics, Colossus would twist Angel into a pretzel with zero effort 😄
@@Whoishzz Her power is based on her adrenaline (in the comics), at max she can temporarily lift 25 tons, which is more than both. At lowest she's about equal with Cap (800 lbs), and way less than Spidey (10 tons).
An incomplete list of Deadpool's powers I hope some can elaborate on... 1: Healing factor 2: metaverse. Not only is he aware he is a superhero and main character, but he can also (for instance) use pieces of the story telling device as weapon... like beating someone to death with his health bar in "Marvel Vs Capcom" 3: agility and awareness, this is a basic power he gained by being a hired assassin. 4: bottomless pouch. This isn't shown perfectly in the movie here (they tried to make it more relatable with him leaving the guns in the taxi) but he doesn't need that backpack... he already has it... probably in his crotch... 5: Death is in love with him... mainly because she can't "have" his soul since for all intents and purposes (his healing factor) makes him immortal. Last one might not seem like a superpower until you realise that it's the whole reason Deadpool had the infinity gauntlet for a while... before he got bored and gave it back to Thanos (Thanos loves Death, Death loves Deadpool, insanity ensues)
Deadpool's Mutant powers are his regeneration ability (on par to Wolverine) and his Knowledge that he is a Comic Book/Movie superhero. He is fully aware that WE are watching thus he can break the 4th Wall.
Fun Fact: Wade Wilson is a play on Slade Wilson from DC, the author was a fan I think. Also that Aircraft they were fighting in, was the Heli Carriers you see in the Avengers.
Negasonic Teenage Warhead is named after a song by Monster Magnet. Her abilities include: Superhuman strength, speed, durability and reflexes. Matter & Energy manipulation. (which is how she is able to generate explosions from her body) Transmutation. Precognition. Telekinesis. Telepathy. Flight. Reality alteration etc.. The one power she is best at, that as far as I know is never mentioned in the comics or the movies, is the power to enormously annoy Deadpool while simultaneously activating his parenting feelings.
37:30 Fun fact: That ability - thermokinetic waves (like explosions, but bigger the faster she goes) - isn't hers. It belongs to a mutant called Cannonball. Negasonic's powers are basic like superspeed and reflexes. Fox thought her goth vibe worked better with that power than some old dude (Cannonball) so they made a trade with Marvel to use Cannonball's powers here in exchange for lending Marvel the character rights to Ego The Living Planet (which Marvel used in Guardians of the Galaxy 2).
DP can repair on demand as he wants. He broke his limbs on Collosus so it would be easier to get out of cuffs. Notice how when he flicks his other wrist and is instantly healed
You know the perfect animal for Deadpool would either be a axolotl or tortoise because an axolotl Can regenerate a lot of its body even it’s brain or a tortoise because they live a long time
I love all the little easter eggs, from the very obvious in-your-face ones to the very subtle ones. There's probably like a few hundred of them spread all around the movie, it's basically impossible to get them all but I feel like I got like a couple hundred. Literally every scene has some clever shots at MARVEL property, actors, or other interesting trivia. It's all basically done because the movie is told by Deadpool, so the "untrustworthy narrator" thing is at play. That's basically why he shows random people saying meta things, like "might further the plot" by Weasel, and so on. A couple of examples: all the names on the Dead Pool chalkboard are references, he even has Rob Liefeld on there (the creator of Deadpool, whom he literally kills "in real life" in one of the story arcs). A bunch of scenes have subtle X crosses thrown in here and there, the scene where they're going to fight Francis on the discarded Avengers ship has like a dozen of them in one frame, from random road signs to the soundtrack ("X gon' give it to ya" by DMX, two more right there), since Deadpool is technically weapon X and is pressured into joining the X-Men, which are two different X btw, one is a Roman 10 and the other one is from the initials of Charles Xavier. And so on. All the little details like these make the movie an instant classic. I wish reactors picked up on more of those, all the clever jokes they miss... FeelsBadMan
2:01 Deadpool breaks the 4th wall in every form of media he's ever been in except perhaps X-Men Origins: Wolverine because Wade never really became Deadpool. That plus an extremely well received tech demo that the car scene this frozen shot is part of and Ryan's EXTREME love for the Character made this movie happen.
Said it before, and I'll say it again I'm sure; the only thing this movie did badly was explaining why DP looks like he do. Long story short: his mutation kicked-in, which increased his metabolism to insane levels, which caused the cancer (already spread throughout his entire body) to grow at ridiculous speed. His physical appearance is changed because those are tumors that have completely covered his body. He cannot die, and can heal from anything, but technically suffers from every form of cancer.
To make this a little easier for you, Deadpool is a comic book character that knows he's a comic book character. He can't convince anyone else they're in a comic book, but he knows, and as a result, he talks to the readers rather than performing for the readers. There was a point where he killed the entire universe, and is stuck in a love triangle with himself, Death, and Thanos.
30:52 The saddest part is that Francis thinks that a man who was left to die in a burning building hot enough to melt the rebar that was ran through him and survived can be reduced to sufficiently small enough bits that he will not regenerate.
Fun fact: breaking the fourth wall isn't just for narration, it's actually one of his superpowers! He knows he's just in a story and we're all watching/reading/playing.

Deadpool and Deadpool two are both movies that you have to watch over and over to catch all the little jokes and background things
ive been addicted to your reaction videos since Broly :D
The way you said No,no,no,no... I immediately thought of DATE MOVIE. It's a spoof movie from years ago.
that pizza delivery guy only wanted the part because he knew Ryan Reynolds would kiss him. And i would have done the same thing.
It was because of this film being R-rated we got Logan. Although I love seeing Colossus in full organic metal form it always surprised me they didn't let him change back to his human form sometimes.
It's because they used different people to play Colossus:
*-A guy who was the model for the face*
*-A 7ft actor (wearing 12" platform shoes) for the motion capture*
*-And another actor was the voice.*
So excited for deadpool 2 you are gonna love it
Technically, this movie puts Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and X-Men Cinematic Universe at the same time. The final fight is at the ruins of the Triskelion from Captain America: Winter Soldier.
Doesn’t make sense
Can't wait for the Deadpool 2 reaction!!!
fun fact: deadpool doesnt have super healing but rather cell regeneration at a crazy level, this means hes just regenerating cancer cells faster then they can kill him. this also means every time he gets cut, stabbed or shot the wounds are replaced with cancerous tissue
It’s always nice to see deadpool play as Ryan reynolds😁
Francis/Ajax gave himself a similar regeneration factor as Deadpool. After all, in the comics the Weapon X Project used DNA from Wolverine to give the non-powered Wade Wilson regeneration powers.
(At 22:25) That is probably the cause of his disfigurement. His cancer cells are spreading… rapidly.
Every time I find ur channel I will sit in my couch watch every video I can all day
I love Deadpool, and your video today just made my day! I laughed so hard!
"i know youre expecting a teaser for deadpool 2, well we dont have that kinda money"
deadpool vs wolverine: lets fucking go.
my mom used to say this movie and Logan is too brutal and r rated so i probably shouldn’t watch it (i was underage) but i love marvel so i did and THIS MOVIE IS HILARIOUS
You were underaged?!
@@Fireblaster22k yeah around 12 i think
Fun fact: the reason why he looks like that is because his healing more or less mixed with the cancer work much faster but his healing factor works with and against it if that makes sense he won’t die from it but it’s still in him
Not sure how it’s possible you’ve never seen this movie but fuck I’m so glad you haven’t 😂👍🏻
😂this movie is hilarious
DMX playing in the background was so nostalgic that I geeked out like I haven't in a long time! This movie hit me in the feels with that!😆
Incase u couldn’t tell Deadpool is very Zesty
I mean he is Pansexual lol
@@vorxensspdle6311what the hell isnthat
@@RuneBa1 look it up
#2! #2! Deadpool movies are my ultimate comfort movies, I love them so much!
I love that they found a character to get Gina into the movie, but...If power levels were anywhere near the comics, Colossus would twist Angel into a pretzel with zero effort 😄
The thing is, he still wouldn't do it. He's too nice.
@@Shritistrang Agreed, it's not in his character. In a theoretical forced deathmatch though...it wouldn't even be fair 😀
She is stronger than cap and spiderman right?
@@Whoishzz Her power is based on her adrenaline (in the comics), at max she can temporarily lift 25 tons, which is more than both. At lowest she's about equal with Cap (800 lbs), and way less than Spidey (10 tons).
@@Ryan--G she is op then, she didnt even bleed with a colossus punch
Deadpool is one of the most entertaining MCU movies 😭
Its not an MCU movie or wasn’t at the time I guess with the 3rd one coming it could be considered one
An incomplete list of Deadpool's powers I hope some can elaborate on...
1: Healing factor
2: metaverse. Not only is he aware he is a superhero and main character, but he can also (for instance) use pieces of the story telling device as weapon... like beating someone to death with his health bar in "Marvel Vs Capcom"
3: agility and awareness, this is a basic power he gained by being a hired assassin.
Loved when you caught the Regidrago at the last moment with your last Golden Raspberry
11:28 ayo don what?
W MOVIE?????
Fun Fact: Wade Wilson is a play on Slade Wilson from DC, the author was a fan I think. Also that Aircraft they were fighting in, was the Heli Carriers you see in the Avengers.
you watched deadpool without watching ALL the x-men movies?!?!

Negasonic Teenage Warhead is named after a song by Monster Magnet. Her abilities include:
Superhuman strength, speed, durability and reflexes.
Matter & Energy manipulation.
(which is how she is able to generate explosions from her body)
Transmutation.
Precognition.
Telekinesis.
Telepathy.
Flight.
Reality alteration etc..
The one power she is best at, that as far as I know is never mentioned in the comics or the movies, is the power to enormously annoy Deadpool while simultaneously activating his parenting feelings.
Day 24 of asking you to watch Bojack Horseman (help me out here)
He's more horse than man... or is it the other way around?
You got my vote
Team bojack!
Surely after day6 you take the hint 😂😂
that movie sucks
Subscribed after seeing how much you enjoyed this!🙂
UA-cam is not gonna like this 💀
Great reaction I'm Binge watching all your marvel stuff!!
I love you don 😂 you said "we do get to see boobies!"😂😂
“W movie” 😂😂
37:30 Fun fact: That ability - thermokinetic waves (like explosions, but bigger the faster she goes) - isn't hers. It belongs to a mutant called Cannonball. Negasonic's powers are basic like superspeed and reflexes. Fox thought her goth vibe worked better with that power than some old dude (Cannonball) so they made a trade with Marvel to use Cannonball's powers here in exchange for lending Marvel the character rights to Ego The Living Planet (which Marvel used in Guardians of the Galaxy 2).
I really thought UA-cam's gonna love this one...glad you're safe😂
Btw 4th wall break into 4th wall break would be 16 since its area and the "into" part clarifies it
DP can repair on demand as he wants. He broke his limbs on Collosus so it would be easier to get out of cuffs. Notice how when he flicks his other wrist and is instantly healed
Deadpool is one of the best Marvel characters
Deadpool Bullet Counting Scene is Immaculate everyone keeps talking about it when the movie was released.
You know the perfect animal for Deadpool would either be a axolotl or tortoise because an axolotl Can regenerate a lot of its body even it’s brain or a tortoise because they live a long time
actually, the chemical term for fire is rapid oxidation, so all fire requires oxygen
I always loved the Ferris bueller send off at the end of the film.
FeelsBadMan
He played in X-Men Origins 2009 with Logan, same character and fighting abilities except the regeneration. Love that movie
Bro, nice to show me my favourite movie. I’m subbing.
Me: Deadpool, what is your ability
Deadpool: harassment
that "a yo" after he said "im touching my self tonight" got me laughing on the floor!
For some reason “I’d go with you but…I don’t wanna” is legitimately one of my favorite lines 😅
Yes it's Gina,
All hail Gina
2:01
Deadpool breaks the 4th wall in every form of media he's ever been in except perhaps X-Men Origins: Wolverine because Wade never really became Deadpool. That plus an extremely well received tech demo that the car scene this frozen shot is part of and Ryan's EXTREME love for the Character made this movie happen.
"was that smart? What does fire and oxygen do?"
Bro, you serious? 🤣
Can’t lie just started watching this guy and honestly so funny man
I´m addicted to the X-Men Movies since Deadpool and Wolverine!
Nega sonic teenage “warhead” so she’s like a bomb
Im so glad i found this video i love this and will be coming back alot ❤❤❤
26:07, yeah, sort of. Specifically, a very old man's, as a Scotsman might put it, "bawbag;" so old that liver spots show up there as well.
30:52
The saddest part is that Francis thinks that a man who was left to die in a burning building hot enough to melt the rebar that was ran through him and survived can be reduced to sufficiently small enough bits that he will not regenerate.
Yesssss I’m here for this! Deadpool is the shit!!
