In accordance with COPPA, this video it's not direct towards children under the age of 13. This video although animated has nothing to do with children entertainment and they are not encouraged to watch it in any way. This video's main audience are adults and children OVER the age of 13. Animation it's used in this video, because it's my career, i have been doing this for quite a few years now and i would like to continue doing it. The subject of this video it's history and it's often depicted through realism thus violence and blood are a part of it. DO NOT WATCH IT IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 13.
Hello everyone, yes indeed, it is here, it's finally done. After nearly one year and 7 months, it's done. It's been a long journey to this point, so many events have happened throughout the making of this video that certain parts simply bring back those memories. I must thank all of those who supported or helped with the making of this video. I must however apologize for a few audio errors, i have no idea what caused those.

Fun Fact: the Dacian sword was so good at splitting Roman helmets that the romans had to upgrade theirs

My grandpa was in the Second world war at both Stalingrad and Don.
He was also in the push towards Berlin.
He had been awarded several medals.
He died in 2017 at the age of 90.
He used to tell many stories from the battlefield.
And yes,i come from Romania. Same as my grandpa.

I wish I could hear my grand-grandfather to tell me stories too. My grand-grandfather was at the front of the Transylvania, to retake it. Also, when we were on the Germany side, he pushed the Russians away from our basarabia and Bucovina.
I can relate. my great-grandpa was in WWII and I remember some stories. I was very little however..and he died in 2006. He also had loads of medals and surely many other stories I wish I could know now that I'm older.
(by the way he was first fighting against the russians and he got caught in a lager but thankfully Romania changed sides and he survived. otherwise i wouldn't be here to write this comment xD)

Its been three years since this video was published, I still consider it the best countryball history video ever, and every time I watch it again it feels always an experience, the animation is super smooth and is high quality, there are some scenes that are honestly funny, and I loved the family side story from WW1 to cold-war.
The sound/soundtrack is also top notch. Great music choices.

Very nice work man. I know you heard that from TONS of other people but we all mean it. Where do I even start from? The quality of the animation?It shouldn't even be questioned 1000/10. The accuracy? 10/10. Anything about the video is great. The fact that it's not like your average boring history videos is great. It had my attention for all the 50 minutes of it. At around 8:58, you can see the slav and Dacian builders constructing a church. The cross is orthodox, the preferred Christianity of Eastern Europe at the time. It is these small details that make me smile. Great on you juice glass.

One question: As a Romanian, do you consider yourself Balkan?
• Many tend to think the Balkans is a political or geographical-only definition, some even think it's a negative thing.
• Neither of these are correct: the Balkans are a cultural definition. I feel as if Romania is Balkans, as it is far closer culturally to Bulgaria or Serbia than neighbours on the other side (just Google Christmas traditions), hence why I love Romania and Serbia so much, we are brothers! But I want to see your take on it (note: I am aware Transylvania has had Hungarians leak culture in, so many exclude that part of it from being Balkans, how true is that?)

However Romania isn't included based on the wiki articles, but that doesn't mean there are no neighbour balkans living here too. Hungarians does still leak culture in Transylvania mixed with our own as well as we get along. ;)
