A bit of 2-wheel Christmas therapy from one of best riding embassadors on the planet. Thanks Jamie. A safe, healthy 2021 to you all! As for me? I’m just gonna go for a ride...
That's Sherman Pass Road off of the 99, BTW. I'd recognize that sketchy pavement and total lack of guardrails anywhere! A perfect old-school California mountain road, matches that Enfield well.
Merry Christmas 🎄 I test drove one of these GT650 and the Himalayan a couple days ago. I decided to buy the Himalayan so I'm going for a ride after breakfast 🥞thanks for all your cool videos Moto Geo ☃️
Thanks Jamie, Merry Christmas from downunder! I've been hoping for one of your videos that feature the 650 Twin. I've now done 45,000 km on my RE GT Continental on the awesome roads of Northern New South Wales and South East Queensland. It's a great bike and so far has been faultless! Your philosophy of 'Just Go For A Ride' has become mine too. No better time spent. Look forward to your review of the bike.
Right? I always enjoy this theme at MotoGeo - Riding out into nature and cooking food at a campsite. The V85TT video immediately comes to mind. The Norton video too.
Beautiful. My videos will never be that good I'm afraid. I'm jealous. Just added another another place I "Want To Go" on my list with My Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. If you're ever near Silver City NM you have to stay at the KOA. (Tell them I said it's OK for you to stay in my K5. That's our running joke.) The owners both ride and she gave me a great ride to take Hwy 152 to Hillsboro NM and back. Your GT 650 will eat it up! Thank you for a great ride.
Fantastic Jamie, your impersonation of Burt Monroe , Let's Go Fishing, Master Chef and Nature Man all rolled into one was totally mind blowing. A million miles away from the rain soaked roads in the UK but hey No Harm in Dreaming. Still, this bike doesn't just look good on the Californian twisties , it'll look great anywhere, which is more than l can say for that fishing rod of yours.
A new MotoGeo vid, what a great Christmas present. Happy Holidays Jamie, look forward to seeing what you bring us in 2021. I want to see you on the Harley PanAm, I reckon your style of freedom and burgers is exactly what they're (trying) to capture. Ride safe
Any ride is a good ride but the best rides are the ones with no destination in mind just letting the road & the day lead you astray. Merry Christmas Jamie & your family
GREAT AS ALWAYS. IT IS VERY COLD HERE TODAY BUT WHENEVER I SEE ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS SURE I'M GOING TO RIDE MY MOTORCYCLE. JUST LIKE NOW. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family Jamie! It's -21°c here and we had freezing rain the last couple of days... going to be another 4 months at least before we can ride. Summer and I can't tell you thank you enough for the amazing content you create, helps us through the winter months. Wish we had hot springs close to here. Choy is such a breath of fresh air and a generous soul. Great video *T4S* Stay safe and healthy!
Merry Christmas from nearby Simi Valley! I’m a bit surprised that you didn’t stop for a burger at McNally’s! Best burgers I’ve ever eaten, without any fancy frills. And that’s the area where my next ’local’ road trip will be, but starting further north in Porterville, heading to Kernville. Thanks for the teaser!
Just unbearable easiness of being 😍 All ways, when I’m watching ur vids, i suddenly think to my self, wow, just pack the smallest amount of stuff & go for a ride. Doesn’t matter where & wich bike. You made it with all the bikes, you just made my day ✨🙏🏻 thx for that, thx for let us taking part of your wonderful adventures, ride safe 👋🏻🌄 !
Hello from Italy Jamie. I remember you from the old Performance Bike 250GP days! Great production vid. All the best, health & happiness, Pete 990 (07) Superduke.
Did you taped a helmet skirt on? I used to do the same computing in the winter in Northern California. Works awesome with a neck sock and a anti fog insert.
Hello Jamie sometimes watching videos with lovely Asian but often watching your blog (best), some video again - again, I want to say that buy 3 rods and don't catch any fish like you🎣. I wish my lovely blog MOTOGEO to rise up and health for you, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2021🥂🍾🎄🎄🎄💪🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥂🥂
Fantastic photography. How do you do it? A lot of hard work i would think. Hope you enjoyed the RE. I recently bought an Interceptor and am so happy with it. Cheers from Queensland.
blessings and a very Merry Christmas to one and all or whatever floats your boat this time of year, seasons greetings from the Chilcotin in BC eh, a beauty day it is my friends, only wish I could nag some two wheeled therapy today but alas my Duc is hibernating in the dining room until til April or May, may the days be kind for one and all, bless up and thanks for sharing eh Jamie, see you all next video! B^)
Yeah, the chrome seems to be working better on the GT than the Interceptor. Probably because it gives the appearance that it is a polished aluminium tank.
Great video, and loved the random meeting with your new 'bestie' lol. Hoping you Jamie and your family had z great Christmas, and all the best for 2021. Here's to more brilliant adventures.
Hey Jamie, Give us a review of the RE 650's. I'm sure there's thousands of us wanting your thoughts. Include handling/grip from the OEM tires as well if you can. There seems to be quite a bit of controversy on the stock Pirelli Phantons for owners. Maybe try the 650 interceptor next time and give it a "bloody good thrashing" 😁 👍
Yes, don't worry, my full review will be coming soon, I like to keep the 'Reviews' separate from the 'Adventures', as the Adv's are all about enjoying the ride. 👍
When pandemic is over you need to get to Georgia man. It is such a beautiful country in Caucasus with epic epic roads to ride off road or on road :) MotoGeo in Georgia ✌️
Not the most sophisticated (it wasn't meant to be either), not the fanciest unlike its $25k brethren crammed to bits with electronic gadgets and sensors (so the intervention is less and the servicing, repair etc does not break the bank) or plush leather, but certainly not cheap. Affordable, not cheap. Not the best build quality or finesse but beautiful enough to draw attention with its charm and certainly rugged enough to last in functional shape as long as the costliest ones if does not outlive them, albeit with some cosmetic peel offs, dents or rust spots etc which are manageable, without again, breaking your bank. Rider's commute experience is as splendid as with the costliest ones if not more, sometimes even better as does not weigh as much. Royal Enfield has democratised moto riding in the western world with its remarkably more than value for money and affordable offerings. It is affordable in the west because it is manufactured in a developing country where raw materials are far less expensive and salaries of factory workers are also low compared to that of the developed western world, as are the purchasing values of most other goods and services which allows the company to achieve economies of scales by producing and selling large number of bikes in that large developing economy (that is India). It is not cheap because promise of core engineering and quality of raw materials are not compromised upon just by riding on the back of any fraudulent temporary glitter or shortlived superfluous features.
@@knightatdawndonbynight8432 hehe. We in india pay half of what you guys pay for the bikes. The Himalayan is 3000 usd in India , on road , and is considered a bit expensive. Since per capita per annum in India is 2000 usd.

Nice 👍 What cam do you use for filming?

Great video. Awesome shots. 🤙
I love the look of that bike especially in that chrome-tanked "Mr. Clean" colorway. Destined to be a classic.
Yeah, the chrome seems to be working better on the GT than the Interceptor. Probably because it gives the appearance that it is a polished aluminium tank.
Fun as always to watch one of your videos. Beautiful road, but way too much traffic!! But seriously, what do think about the bike?
Great bike, full review coming soon
