- Bako National Park is a oldest national park in Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia.
It is a MUST visit for wildlife experiences for nature lovers. Bako is home to the endangered proboscis monkeys, which are endemic to Borneo, other animals include the long-tailed macaque, silvered langur, plantain squirrel, Bornean bearded pig, monitor lizards, and otters.
Thanks for visiting Bako National Park 🙏
It is a must visit place! I am glad I visited. :)
Hi, I'm a new friend here from Singapore. I have been to Sarawak but have never had the opportunity to visit Bako National Park. I am a nature lover and if I go there I will definitely stay a few days there. It looks quite there and is it possible that the situation is like that because now is not a school holiday in Malaysia. You are lucky to get acquainted with a tourist from Germany, it just so happens that he also wants to travel there. Thanks for sharing your travel experience. Take care of yourself always. Stay connected. 👍🔔
Nice to meet you. Yeah, you could never get enough if you are a nature lover. Maybe I'll try to go Kuching again and extend my stay next time especially in Bako. Cheers!
Great video! LOVE it! A UA-cam rising star! Brings back my memories when I was in BAKO.
Thank you dear friend! That's very motivational. 🥰
@@censteps, you bring out the "Sarah and Duck" kind of vibe. Calm, compose and informative. 😊
@@bungaialoevera haha! I did not know about "Sarah and Duck", I searched for what it is and I love it. They are so cute! And I supposed I am "Sarah" and the other one is the "Duck"... lol

Yeah! It feels so awesome, when you are in such a well known destination. Haha!
At low tide, you can play football on a wide sand field. And in the afternoon, chill at the top of the hill is the best time for you to enjoy the high panorama view. I'm so happy to see your guys have fun and enjoy the day at Bako Park. 😀😀👌🏻
Oh really? Great to know that. It is a very wide beach! And Bako is absolutely beautiful. 😊

OK. From your 15 minutes video about this park is about 4 mins about the Park itself and you saw only 2 animals (crab and monkey) is it? Maybe the park is super good but.. :(
Hi. Sorry the video is not up to your expectations. It was more on documenting my own journey from getting there and what I've been through. The park itself from the beach to the hiking trails for me is beautiful. The wildlife is really depends on luck for you to see one, after all they are not in captivity and are truly wild. I did see the friendly wild boar near the registration building though! But didn't manage to film it. Haha...
Where can see migranst bird
Not sure if there are migrant birds in Bako.
How many hours trekking?coz on 24th September I'm planning to go there around 1pm...after visit semenggoh nature reserve see orang hutan...
Hi, the walk from the main entrance to the feeding area is only about 15 minutes. Do take note that the feeding time is only twice a day, which is at 9am and 3pm, and that's when the rangers will call out the orang utan. Other times you probably won't see any because they are not in captivity. Meanwhile you may try the trails in the park, but just becareful and follow the tracks. And if you are taking the free bus, do take note of the bus schedule as well. Cheers!
For bako national park how many hours can finish?if I arrived bako at 2pm
Unlike you are staying overnight in Bako Park, you can arrive at 2pm. Because the last boat leaving at 3pm from Bako.
Don't wear mask when speaking on YT vid please?
Hi, was taking the precaution when there are people around while I travel. But I tried taking it off when no one is nearby too. Thank you for commenting.😄
Bako is quite deserted unlike in the olden days because people were afraid of the crocodiles loitering in the seashore. The tourism board must assure visitors it's safe and free of Crocs.
I think it's good that the it is not over crowded to preserve the nature. The wildlife should be maintained, visitors just have to be more cautious while exploring, avoiding risky spots, then it is fine.
@@censteps But tourists didn't felt safe because of the Crocs might spring a surprise when they were playing in the seaside so to be safe they avoid going there.
@@taykokhuat I see. But Bako is still a very beautiful place of nature. 😄
I have just ben there about 2 months ago and let me tell you: I saw many crocodiles on the sand banks, but no danger when we arrived at the beach in front of the National Park.
Lucky you! 😄
