    Hi, I'm a new friend here from Singapore. I have been to Sarawak but have never had the opportunity to visit Bako National Park. I am a nature lover and if I go there I will definitely stay a few days there. It looks quite there and is it possible that the situation is like that because now is not a school holiday in Malaysia. You are lucky to get acquainted with a tourist from Germany, it just so happens that he also wants to travel there. Thanks for sharing your travel experience. Take care of yourself always. Stay connected. 👍🔔

      Nice to meet you. Yeah, you could never get enough if you are a nature lover. Maybe I'll try to go Kuching again and extend my stay next time especially in Bako. Cheers!

    OK. From your 15 minutes video about this park is about 4 mins about the Park itself and you saw only 2 animals (crab and monkey) is it? Maybe the park is super good but.. :(

      @censteps  Рік тому +1

      Hi. Sorry the video is not up to your expectations. It was more on documenting my own journey from getting there and what I've been through. The park itself from the beach to the hiking trails for me is beautiful. The wildlife is really depends on luck for you to see one, after all they are not in captivity and are truly wild. I did see the friendly wild boar near the registration building though! But didn't manage to film it. Haha...

    At low tide, you can play football on a wide sand field. And in the afternoon, chill at the top of the hill is the best time for you to enjoy the high panorama view. I'm so happy to see your guys have fun and enjoy the day at Bako Park. 😀😀👌🏻

    • @censteps
      @censteps  2 роки тому +1

      Hi, the walk from the main entrance to the feeding area is only about 15 minutes. Do take note that the feeding time is only twice a day, which is at 9am and 3pm, and that's when the rangers will call out the orang utan. Other times you probably won't see any because they are not in captivity. Meanwhile you may try the trails in the park, but just becareful and follow the tracks. And if you are taking the free bus, do take note of the bus schedule as well. Cheers!

    Bako is quite deserted unlike in the olden days because people were afraid of the crocodiles loitering in the seashore. The tourism board must assure visitors it's safe and free of Crocs.

    • @censteps
      @censteps  Рік тому

      I think it's good that the it is not over crowded to preserve the nature. The wildlife should be maintained, visitors just have to be more cautious while exploring, avoiding risky spots, then it is fine.

    • @taykokhuat
      @taykokhuat Рік тому +1

      @@censteps But tourists didn't felt safe because of the Crocs might spring a surprise when they were playing in the seaside so to be safe they avoid going there.
