I found a nice feature that I didn't know about in the video. If the lid is locked open, you don't have to unlock it. Closing the lid by hand will unlock it!
@@user-xm6oq9gz9u I returned mine for another at Costco. New one is working as it should for about a month so far. As expensive as this trashcan is it better last for my lifetime. Hopefully you can return yours for another and have better luck.
Does anyone know how to push the foot pedal back inside after use. Initially you pull it out until it snaps in place, but I can't figure out how to push it back inside the can for transportation, thanks! Mark
wow just purchased this trash can from Home depot, they have removed many of the complexity to make it even friendlier to use but looks MUCH cheaper, but the cost has increased drastically, I paid $140!!! Costco no longer selling these, my uncle purchased one exactly as the one on this video for $99.99 just 3 weeks ago at Costco, but I asked Costo customers service they told me won't be selling these anymore : (

Excellent review! Thanks for explaining the reason for the holes on the side and how to use my new trash can more effectively!
No problem, glad it helped!
How is your trash can holding up? The soft close lid stopped working and the lid just slams shut first day I had it.
Mine still works. You can warranty it or buy a new one from Costco and return that one with the new receipt.
Mines arrive today and doesn’t even soft close. It slams so hard so I’m not sure if it’s broken or what
@@user-xm6oq9gz9u Open it up and check if the pieces inside are connected. If not, exchange it.

Yup!
Does anyone know how to fix the lid when the screws just gave out?
@@aprilfrederick1774 warranty or return to Costco.
do you know to tuck the pedal back under?
What do you mean?
Check inside to see if it unlatched

I just got mine from costco . 82$
Still pricey D:
The rubber feet on mine won't stay in. Right out of the box, they fall out anytime you tilt or lift the can. It's very annoying.
Exchange. Costco is very good with returns.
How do you disassemble it to clean it?
I don't think you disassemble it. Just scrub with a toothbrush and spray lol
Clean, until it gets dirty
Just don't throw trash on the outside lol
