Anthony Weaver was the defensive line coach and assistant head coach for the Baltimore Ravens in the 2022 and 2023 NFL Seasons. Weaver worked underneath Mike Macdonald on the Baltimore Ravens defense. Macdonald was in nickel for 79% of the defensive plays in 2023, and you can expect the Dolphins to run a lot of nickel as well. The Miami Dolphins defensive scheme will be something to keep your eye on during Dolphins Training Camp.

What evidence do we have proving Anthony Weaver is a good DC? He was a DL/LB coach in Baltimore. The only time he was a DC (Texans) his defense was one of the worst in football.
John Harbaugh's glowing endorsement of weaver is pretty good evidence
@@phinfanforever- That means absolutely nothing to me. Why didn’t Harbaugh sign him up to be his DC if he’s so great? Do we even know what type of defense we’re going to be running in 24? Our current personnel are built for a hybrid 3-4 defense and Baltimore ran something completely different.
