He did sink the shot in. At 47:45 you can see the score board says 10 strokes on hole 3. That's the exact amount of strokes he took for that hole including the glitches where the ball shot off to the side after reset.
I haven’t seen anyone else’s perspective but did no one try using the speed ramps on the ball instead of just trying to jump at the end? It looked like there was more up top they were missing for a hole in one
