It's an open ended voucher, so they can use it the very next day or if they don't catch a train for another two years, it's valid then still. No one knows when he will do the kindness gesture, he springs it on at the Station randomly. Can you imagine Harry or Meghan doing that. They'd only do it for publicity. Whereas Edward had been doing it for over 8 years before it was found out that Edward was responsible. When he is on the train as a passenger, most folk don't recognise him. He sits reading, doing crosswords, and often simply chats to others on board, without them realising he is a Prince.

They are not entitled to the HRH in front of Duke & Dutchess. They are not recognized as Royals as they left any & all Royal duties & responsibilities that go to earning those three letters. Harry is still referred to as a Prince but not even he gets the HRH anymore. The guy announcing them didn't do his homework. But those two have proved to be more clownish in their demand for privacy. (Non existent) So I guess this faux pas just adds to the dark humour.

Why is she wearing a coat. Nobody else is. She must be very hot and sweaty. Famous or royal people don't carry their coats in their hand. She is very messy and awkward.

This is one reason why one of the "royal rules" is to always wear your coat in public. Either wear it or don't wear it, but don't bring it and then have to deal with this type of awkward fumbling in public.
