Only the mods are different in the damage loadout, so I do not switch weapons and ammo is not lost. The only time I switch weapons during Caiatl is when I am swapping Lament to Tractor Cannon for the last bell in DPS phase, but there I need just one tractor cannon shot so I am always getting that.
