They must have went broke after the mortgage and couldn't afford any lights. I have seen better in our lower priced neighborhoods.
Yes, some owners are not that picky about Christmas decorations. I don't blame them. Even little decors are better than nothing.
the homes might be impressive, but the displays were not.
Maybe there going for the understated elegance. (although, for my apartment besides the tree a few decorations throughout the place, I did a few strategic lighted stars, a hologram looking tree etc...⛄❄️☃️🌨️☃️🌲.....can't wait till Mardi gras 😀)
