@@Ikasima Agree 100%. This is NOT Astrix. Astrix track is 110BPM with fart noises. This is 142BPM with with melodies all over the place. THIS is what trance should be, MELODIES. Not fart noises and one shots like Vini Vici, Astrix, Ace Ventura, and the rest of the progressive bullshit that is out today.
This is not even a remix, this track is a trakc in itself.
Astrix should maybe go back to 145BPM and put melodies in his tracks again.

Progressive music progress from kick, bass, one shots toward a '30-45 seconds' melodic point in the near end of the track and after that, back to kick, bass, one shots until the song is over. Compare that to old goa, new-goa and some new melodic fullon artists were melodies are the ,main thing that takes you to the journey. It's sad that progressive has been the new thing. The psychedelic in psychedelic music is the melodies that take you to the journey. I mean, even psychedelic rock, such as Pink Floyd, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix has a lot of melodies. But after that Vini Vici, Ace Ventura came to the stage and just put together 100s of one shots in 138 funeral BPM, everyone else copied him. And oh god to the triplets. What a sad thing that happened to electronic music

Nice to see Simon Patterson getting into psy, I always thought that uplifting trance + psy would be the perfect combination. Magnus already does that too.
He's not just getting into it, psy has always been a big part of his music for the last several years. This song is slightly more psychedelic because it's a remix of an Astrix track. Magnus is a good example of mixing uplifting and psy. Simon Patterson and Magnus made "Evoke" together. I have good memories to hearing that at raves
