Grand Inquisitor lead Inqs managed it for me, aoes from everyone to bring down the shield, then assists from 7th of 9 with Zealots seemed to pack quite the punch eventually
Nightsisters R3 with G12 Merrin absolutely obliterated Grievous using the Overzealous disk set (with Savior disk as well). It looks a little dodgy to start, but once Merrin gets off her Plague and Mama Talzin uses her AOE, the droids just start exploding!
I know I got the no GL feat for the boss the last 2 times, but I can't seem to make it work this time. The Gungans just don't take damage, even with the generator gone.
I either need to kill gungans with no GLs or the s5 MidBoss with Veers in my squad to reach red crate. Don't need both. Everything else I intend to do is done. So the question is ... the last couple times I did Veers vs. s5 MidBoss it took a few tries, but I was wondering ... seems like Bane could nuke Gungans by ignoring taunt and killing the shield generator quickly. You only have 2 attackers, but you have good speed and survivability. My question, then, is whether that's likely to work 1st try. I know I can do either, but Padmé is a bit sketchy and like I said, in the past I've had bad luck with s5 MidBoss (their Malak landing Shock on my Malak so my Malak doesn't taunt). I'm curious as to what people think has the greatest chance of success on the first try -- Bane v. Gungans, Padmé v Gungans, or Veers v s5?
I timed out with Bane versus Gungans. Took out the shield generator and Jar Jar, but the others had so much protection I couldn't scratch them. They didn't take any damage from VA/AA set and I don't know Gungans well enough to know if that's WAI.
Thanks, Bit! This worked for me the last two conquests. This third time, though, I tried the Deadly Catalyst (purple 4dot) disk, and it worked, too. Once I got the shield generator down, ignoring 30% protection helped me mow through them pretty fast. Deadly Catalyst is a pretty rare find, but works if you have it.
wow, how stupid can I be..? in my first battles vs.gungans I totally ignored the shield generator and was wondering why the gungans did not take any serious hits.. lmao! :) thanks to your guide, both FB feats were easy as ever.. ;)
Thanks for Padme team idea. I actually didn't have too much trouble with it; I was working on the Booming Voice feat when I got to that boss, which gave me swarm attacks every time Padme got her turn. I also used Echo instead of Ahsoka to clear all the Gungan's buffs early on.
I was using my full Leia team, took out the shield generator, everything was going swell, then Nass did something that just deleted my full health/protection Leia. I have no idea what happened. My remaining team was still able to complete it 🤔
I managed to beat the Gungan team using the same squad. Also, somehow I have not come across a purple data disk in the first 4 hard sectors. Are they getting rarer?
I don't know what you did, but my NS got deleted -- they prevented revives. I STRONGLY recommend against NS. Gungan Boomadier prevents any revives if the character was killed by a Gungan Attacker while the shield generator was active: While an allied Shield Generator is active: - Enemies defeated by Gungan Attackers can't be revived
I finally able to finished Gungan with SK (SK, palp, mara , Shaakti and baby cal). Mara, palp SK aoe destroys the shield generator easily

it depends on your data disk selection I would say

My NS had the leadership resolve disk plus zealous and amplify disk
