There is not that much jam as u see in news around shimla, manali etc..
Thoda bahut milega around mcleodganj wo bhi is liye kyunki kucch gaadion ko mcleo se aage dharamkot jaana hota hai.. kucch ko waapis and kucch ko park karna hota hai bus stand ke saath waali parking me...
Bearable jam hai yahan..mera approx 30 mins extra laga..

Mausam masst hai.. u don't need AC at night.. din me max temp is 30-31.. dhoop tez hai but agar aap shade me chalo to ek dum masst hai.. bus rush kaafi hai... to bas wo dekh ke jaana..

Yes... if want to be safe try on booking.com or agoda etc.. but even if u go directly there then u can get a number of hotels.. right at the main square as well... and a lot of them are not even on any online platform..
