I saw Nia as the opener for Dimension in San Francisco. Her style has always been this good, not to mention her stage presence was amazing. This is the breath of fresh air DNB needs. Can't wait to see what the future holds for her.

@1:50 fanatical junglist since 1995, here; and that is what i initially thought myself. i had heard (and loved) "Forbidden Feelings," "Baiana," and her remixes for Jorja Smith and Fred Again before; but when i first heard tracks like "Crowded Rooms" and "Unfinished Business" i was like "eh, i respect the artistry and eclectic mix of influences, but it's a little too poppy for my tastes." But upon literally the second listen, i became hooked and obsessed, and have had this album on repeat for weeks. Maybe i'm just getting soft in my old age, but i can't get enough of her. Glad to see her getting some much deserved praise, and if this album doesn't get (at the very least) nominated for a BRIT award, it will be a travesty.
Unfinished Business is so great. Took me a couple of listens, i usually like my dnb a bit “heavier”, but eventually it’s become one of if not my favourite from her
Listened to some of this album on the Massive DnB Spotify playlist, definitely sticks out with her sound. Thank you for the electronic music review Anthony, always appreciate them ❤
There is so much fire dnb and jungle coming out these days on labels like The North Quarter, Metalheadz, and Signature. Please explore the genre a little deeper now that you’ve dipped your toes ❤
When I discovered Nia Archives, I was hooked instantly. Maybe I'm biased cos I love jungle/breakbeat/DnB music, but I found her music so refreshing. "Cards on the table" absolutely blew my mind! It's like she took a song from Blur or Oasis and cushioned it with a frantic breakbeat. I love the bass sound she employs in her tracks. It's smooth and warm with just enough weight to give it umph but not be overpowering. Very similar to the bass sound I use in my own drum & bass/jungle music. I'm interested to see what other tracks she releases.
Love this album so much, absolutely my favorite Drum n Bass / dance-pop fusion. I like it even more than PinkPantheress who was previously my favorite in this style.
Found out about Nia through Danny Browns Podcast, he gave her a shoutout last year and have been a fan ever since, that woman brought jungle back to the uk and now the whole world.. love to is having such a high score
@@superwhizz114 I was so shocked to hear him talk about the streets on his podcast. I mean it makes total sense that he'd be into that type of music but i never thought i'd hear a non-british person sing his praises like that. he actually references a song by the streets on 'party all the time' off XXX but i thought it was a coincidence until i researched the background of the song after he spoke about mike skinner and how a grand dont come for free is one of his favourite albums
Saw her play a set last week here in London and she's absolutely the real deal. Incredibly talented DJ and great stage presence - it's hard to hype a crowd while singing about how difficult you find being in a crowd! How she pulls it off I have no idea.
Love this artist, I have been listening on repeat this year. jungle, dnb, REAL vocals, authenticity. Love her, will be following her future career with much interest! +1 on the Brit awards nomination
I live nia. Glad to hear fantano review it. DnB has been "trending" slowly for about 5 years now. Check out 1991, Grafix and Andomedik. They're dropping a lot of nice tunes
Dude you have introduced me to so many new artists and I've gotta say your flow is lit- you're a rapper in a very real sense. Someone out there should take your "bars" and superimpose it over a trap beat!
i just wanna flex i was listening to nia since the forbidden feelingz ep dropped and she had like 20k followers. yeah i feel really cool about it, and put a lot of my friends on 😎
The pose + no Yellow Flanel in the thumbnail is crazy for an 8/10 record

I love this cover tbh 😭
I dig the track „cards on the table“
It's awesome, reminds me of summers gone in the 00s for some reason
she popped up on my Spotify playlist randomly, and instantly became a fan. She pretty much introduced me to jungle and DnB

I haven’t been able to listen to anything else but this album in the past few days. Nia bringing in the summer with a certified classic.
Would love to see more jungle covered on the channel! Keep track of record labels like Future Retro and N4

Also Nia is awesome, this album deserves the praise. Discovered her in 2022 and I'm sure there's only better to come.
SMH Forbidden Feelingz is amazing!
Such a perfect track. Sometimes less is more and that’s how I feel about that track
By far the best track. Has so much character
can’t stop listening to this one - going to put in a set this weekend, hoping it catches on in the US the way it deserves
Caught her here in LA few months ago. The most fun show in a while.
Love this album so much, absolutely my favorite Drum n Bass / dance-pop fusion. I like it even more than PinkPantheress who was previously my favorite in this style.
Wow, just listened to unfinished business and it's amazing. Excited to check out this album
Unexpected but absolutely deserved review, her energy is so unique
Cal knows his Jungle, I’m going to have to go with his assessment there.
Need to see Nia live sometime
Saw her at boomtown last year she’s really good live!
Can second that saw her in Newcastle and Leeds and she’s such a good live artist
She mainly does uk :(
Found out about Nia through Danny Browns Podcast, he gave her a shoutout last year and have been a fan ever since, that woman brought jungle back to the uk and now the whole world.. love to is having such a high score
Jungle never left the UK
Danny Brown has introduced me to some incredible artists like Underscores, Jane Remover, fentanyl, and The Streets. His taste is fantastic

You review re-affirmed my opinion about the album, Anthony. Good job!
I've had this album on repeat. Super underappreciated

Thanks for putting me on, this album is fantastic
Well deserved, wasn't familiar with her prior to this but easily one of my favorites of the year so far.

Have seen her two years ago - FANTASTIC live set!
Great new sound for me. Wish some of the tracks were ever so slightly longer, not like 7 mins long but a little longer.
0:02 You just said the name of some German pop-EDM duo.
Thank you so much...I was hoping you would talk about her
Me too. After reviewed unfinished business in his track wrap up I went and found the album and have had it on repeat. NO SKIPS.
Nia has been on a roll with her ep’s and this debut didn’t disappoint
Hey Anthony, I was wondering if you’re going to be reviewing the Concrete Boys new project?
Saw Nia Archives in DC and she killed it. Love her!!! Big up bad gyalz❤❤❤

Anthony as live action Saitama confirmed
Ok, Mr. Saitama
Liking an album? Awesome
Melon liking it as well? Priceless
Unfinished? Business
Hotel? Trivago
I think the production is amazing but the lyrics get too repetitive for me she says the same thing like 5+ times in a row in most songs
Hey Anthony, wondering if you will review Perceive It's Beauty, Acknowledge It's Grace by Shabaka

Found this album randomly and loved it, of course fantano has already heard it...
I read the score. I knew it would be cause every single single was a banger.

jungle drum beat is the UK version of reggaeton.
It's cool but there is so much throwback jungle released that I am tired. This is much better than a lot of the EDM style and fog horn jump up though.
honestly this is a 10 for me
Never heard of them. Looking forward to finding out more
fantano is upping his archives
Shoulda won the Mercury prize imo
I hope you review the English Teacher debut album soon but in the meantime thanks for letting me know what I should think of this album Anny Banany!🫶
I recommend Ricardo Arjona’s Blanco album. He’s considered the Bob Dylan of Latin America.

if this the butterfly pimp to kendrick 10 to butterfly you would the pimp... really shows your bias melon
you aren’t allowed to give her anything over an 8/10 until she gets more clout. i wouldn’t be able to handle her music becoming fantano-core
Awesome review. Can you do the two Sleepnet EPs next?
Oh shit, finally something for me
Any connections to Sudan Archives?
I appreciate the clickbait thumbnail. Definitely need more ears on this dope album.
Review the new album of Cindy Lee please!
