It’s quiet if you don’t turn aggressively. It gets a little loud if you turn too aggressively. I added silk to my cube and that also helped make the cube quieter.
Would you recommend this over the Tornado v3 for someone who really likes the Tengyun v1, doesn’t like the Tengyun v2 as much, but also likes the Tornado v2?

I would try the tornado v3 flagship before buying the tengyun v3. In my opinion it's down to preference.
