Would love to visit the farm, and happy to help out i know farmers have 1001 jobs they dont have time for. My dad was a farm manager for 30 years and i grew up farming
The big man and Sandra super team some act to follow saw them in AgLife series good on you Alan you have the way with you on how to talk to people young and old great quality bro
Enjoyed this video they are such a lovely couple, he must have been in some pain with those ribs broken. Do the Charolais and Limousine breeds often have to have caesarean births? The AgLife series is excellent.
Signed up. Working my way through the back catalogue. Easily worth the money, if anyone is doubting it. Get the free trial, watch the first episode of Alans Ag life series. It WILL change your mind.
Lovely cattle they have and sad to hear the same story all over the country with the poor prices and people working their ass off to try and keep going.
I think you should go back and do more with Sandra and Stephen looks a well run beef farm and people who know what they are talking about. Don’t see much showing off or big headed about what they have just good honest hard working people. Good to show the Harding working woman on the farm.
Auld gowdy some lad hei id rather an angus cow anyday . Maybe not a total commecial breed but quiet cows gd strong calves . Yup for me aberdeen angus all the day long . Gd beasts though ur man has though . Dedication right there .
Same for us 💪 we had a charolais bull, biggest problem with charolais is they have very little milk if they have twins, theres no life in the calves at birth, buckets of water in the ear to wake them up, be a few hours trying to get them up and suckle and can be difficult births, we have a limousin bull now, no comparison limousins are a more healthy animal, 5 mins up and suckling, calve themselves 9 times out of 10
If ever there was an example of a hardworking family.
lovely people

Can’t speak for charolais but the limousins are very easy calving seems to be no issue calving ours. Most of them calve themselves.
Charolais would need it a lot more often as they would be bigger calves at birth
Alans the man to answer that ;)
