With scraps, you could make a little garland. Tie it to the twine, and over time with using different ribbons you’d have a cute garland to put on a card or decor. 💕💕💕
LOVED this months master classes! If your ribbon goes all around the card . . . 1. Pull the only the backside of the ribbon higher on the card than the front. Adhere in place with tear n tape, glue dot/s, or scotch tape. 2. Cut the ribbon on the back. Tighten. Adhere in place with test n tape, glue dot/s, or scotch tape. Love your new craft room!
Connie, Connie, Connie ! ... You are so genius ! And what about this ribbon scrap trick ??!! Why did I never tought of that ??!! The result is so impressive for something we were supposed to just throw in the trash ! Now it's a tresure ! Thank you again for sharing this with us 😘
Great tips for ribbons and bows, Connie. Thank you. A suggestion I have for sliding cards into an envelope that have bows or dimensional embellishments is to insert the card face down so they don't get snagged and, being careful to avoid the corner that has the stamp on the envelope. Love all the tips and tricks you share with us.
WONDERFUL VIDEO, Connie! I LOVE all of the varied ways to attach ribbon n’ bows! And using the scraps was a “cute idea”, too! I have used a cardstock insert to “protect” the bow (and other embellishments, too!) to aid in mailing! For inserts, I often use Index Cards which do the job n’ save on my CS. I’d also seen another demonstrator use bubble wrap or cut pieces from bubbled envelopes to serve as protection n’ aid in the mailings! TFS n’ HAPPY “BOW EMBELLISHING” W/EASE! Have a lovely day! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI! :-))))))
Almost pasted on this, what could be new. WELL! I'M GLAD I DID. It addressed problems I came across. Couldn't think of what you were going to do with scraps.. loved that. Going to do that. It was so cute. Thanks for all your tips.. thanks for sharing..👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the scrap ribbon idea! One of my least favorite parts of using ribbon is how much of it I end up throwing away, so I really love your idea!
Saw a fantastic idea for adding that mat in the envelope to protect the card - use a nice piece of cardstock and emboss it, giving the recepient a matt for a card...
Wonderful tips! Some I knew but many I never thought of. Especially liked seeing how you manage uncooperative ribbon. I seem to have a lot that! Thanks tons for sharing your wisdom!
Oh Connie, thanks so much for the tips. I surely need to play a little more with ribbon. Also, that tip of puttimg a sheet of card over the bow to protect it is really genius. Thanks! 😊
OMG!!!I love your background for your new craft room that is beautiful, I love number one in your ribbon session today the best but they were all great ideas I like how you use a punch on the side to make a little notch thank you thank you !!you are amazing!!!
Another wonderful Master Class - wow, you are spoiling us, Connie! Some tricks I knew, but most were a revelation. Usually, I don't tie a ribbon around the card: in my country, it's weight that defines the postage. To save on glue dots, I use a cheap Scotch Tape on the back as I'll add the layer to te base of a card, using our liquid Tombow glue.
More great tips, Connie. Love the idea of using the punch for creating notches. Thanks! I see your craft room is really coming together. I envy you the IKEA “slot” board. Can’t remember the name of it. 🤣. Wish I had the wall space for that.
Thank you Connie for all the great tips you have shared, they have been very handy in times that I've been in a rut. I just absolutely love your channel ❤ Simple and quick.

With the notch technique, how do you hide the notches when you glue the piece to the front of the card? Does this question make sense?

Could use a little circle punch too
I’ve had to buy extra 12 cent stamps - years ago so they’re probably more now - because my card weighed too much ! But they sure were cute!
Sherry, you probably do need extra postage. But I always feel like my recipient is worth it. Thank you for watching.
"BooBoo be gone!" 😆😄🤣
