Talking to Game Commissioners in Pennsylvania

- I head over to talk with the PA Game Commissioners at a public speaking event. It was not a conversation, but more me just telling them about the technology. I later had a commissioner talk with me and said that he likes the idea of using drones to recover carcasses. But there are others that do not like it. Click this link to send an email to the PA game commissioners stating that you are in favor of using thermal drones to recover lost game.

Nope. Too fine of a line here. I already know it won't be used for ONLY recovery. Forget it, people can learn how to track their own game.
Not unless the commission can make money on it somehow.
Never happen in Pa. Private property means private air space. Law breakers at every bend in the road. Deer hunting brings the absolute worst out of a normal law following citizen. Might be possible if you work for the Pa. Game Commission. Not sure if they contract out. Good luck. 10$ a point for any buck recovered and not tagged.
If PA does this it will be only Certified People which Pa will charge for…also pilots that keep logs and pay Fees to the State ….they will never just legalize drone recovery for Pa hunters. Only be used by The people they want and the way they want it to be done.
Been thinking of starting my own business doing recovery. Really a bummer to find in my research there has been opposition here in PA. Not sure if I want to invest all the money just to get legally shut down
Pa commission does not listen to us, Pa residents, we tried to get the spring gobbler season opened earlier like other states, and again, it falls on deaf ears!
Thank you so much ! , for taking your time to show our pa game commission !
Keep Grinding big guy. It will all happened in due time.
Although I have to remind myself daily to have some patience and let it happen.
You are doing an amazing job.
I talked to you at the Great American Outdoor Show I'm from NW PA right below Erie it took us 4 hours to drive to Harrisburg. Your in Ohio and only took 1.5 to fly there lol. Would be nice to go places faster!! Anyway hope the Game Commission will allow drones to recover deer would be really helpful when we get rain and lose the track of the deer!!
I’m starting a deer recovery in my area. Your guy here is awful at it. Iv reached out and asked to take his spot but you declined. I run a reputable drone business already. Iv had search and rescue training and have the same equipment. 4+ years of experience. Your guy is cooked.
Instead of having the intent to destroy a new pilot's business, why not reach out to him and work with him to improve everyone's life?
"There are two kinds of people in this world, those that are genuinely concerned for their fellow man and those that are only concerned for themselves.
Guess which kind builds a solid reputation in nearly every field of business?
Thank you Mike for your advocation for drone recovery. I sure hope they make it legal. Great tool to help hunters
So let's get this straight you come on here and call our game wardens liers, just for lawfully enforcing our commonwealths game laws. And you turn around on one knee begging to make an illegal practice legal, hmm. Why didn't you tell them about your profit margin on those drone recovery starter kits you sell as part of your franchise program? Keep your technology out of a state steeped in tradition.
Hopefully the commission takes your advice and gives it a chance to work for the PA hunters. Hopefully other states will follow the lead and allow them to help recover game. I know that we talked a little bit about NY and it’s rules about drones at the expo in Harrisburg in February. Good luck.
Mike, I (and many others I'm sure) commend you for the efforts you making!
Thank you for taking time to educate our Pa game commission on drone deer recovery. Best wishes
Still think you should show the fake video about not being able to use drones in Illinois. That was very good and proved that it is ridiculous for them to not be allowed.
Drone Deer Recovery it is true, if you hunt, a time will come, when a hunter will make a poor shot! It would be great to recover the deer rather then kill another deer. Retrival is more cost effective for the hunter and better for the deceased or wounded animal. It could also help reduce predatory populations, as well as provide jobs! So your service has my voice to adevocate on the subject.
Hope you do good!!! We need this in Pa!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you,,, I hope the comm. will see your point and make this legal ....
Locating and recovering are 2 different things
Thankyou for trying to get this helpful technology recognized for us PA hunters
When are you coming to Michigan lol
Thanks so much Mike, Dave here from pa
Is that a Sling you Have?
Good job Mike praying u get to feeling better
Hate to see you worn down and not feeling good. Better days ahead
SO NICE MIKE
8:06 thousands, maybe tens of thousands is exponentially more than 1:19 hundreds, maybe thousands.
Either you received a hell of a lot of messages in that one day or you're "embellishing" (lying) 🙄
This is going to result in more poaching than locating wounded deer.
It's the Pa. way. In a perfect world it would be great but with only 1 pro and many cons, forget it.
there's too much deer in PA anyway. they're causing ecological harm more than benefits
@Lou_Mansfield everything I've seen deer eat grows back so what harm is being done
