I love these videos .I'm a broke mf so I enjoy seeing people show that you can still fish on a budget . I still suck at fishing but I'm learning. I also chose the worst time of year to really get into fishing but if I can start catching them now I know I'll be able to catch them in the spring and summer.

@@thisisdumb934 I've learned a lot since this comment. The thing i was missing was patience, all i wanted to do was power fish but with how pressured my area is weightless softplastics is what they want 90% of the time. Now that I've learned patience, what they want and where they go I can catch at least 1 or 2 bass everytime I go fishing. The more im learning, the more predictable the bass are becoming.
Now i just need to find a place that's holding a bass bigger than 5lbs. My buddy and I have only been able to go so far because of gas prices so we're pretty limited on where we can fish. #LETSGOBRANDON 😂

My son's 1st bass (a 3 pounder) was on a $1.00 Walmart spinner. He even picked his own lure. He chose "a chartreuse spinner bait with a willow leaf blade." He's got every color of the $1 spinner and buzz baits in his arsenal.
I had to get every color spinnerbait they had as well lol 👍🏻

Don’t throw down on the $1.00 lures at Wally World. I hung into a 9 1/2 lb bass at Guntersville with an earlier version of their spinnerbaits. That fish jerked the rod from my hands and I caught it halfway to the water. Those lures work.

That box that Walmart sent you all worked. Ive used a lot of their gear for sea fishing but I swap out the hooks and link rings first cause Im sure their hooks are made from plastic.
Some advice - check ous Crazy Fish lures too. I got 12 paddle tails for $2.50!! Every color of the rainbow and sizes.

I use the dollar spinner baits. I just take a twist tie for garbage bags and twist tie one on the skirt. Works good and keeps skirt on.

The Yum baits with the yellow tags are called “seconds” they are the ones that are messed up. Usually it’s just like a pumpkinseed/chartreuse, there was no chartreuse. Or the colors bled together

You should do like a fishing relay race like catch one from the bank jump in the kayak catch one then jump on the boat and catch one first one to complete. All wins
The Yum in the clearance with the yellow tag are imperfect pours. If you look close at them you'll notice imperfections usually with color like that baby bass senkos some will be all white and some with barley any green that's why they end up clearance. I always buy up the Yum clearance at Walmart, great deal and I don't care if the pour isn't perfect.

I got some Gene Larew Tattletales in those 1.96 Yum bags. They repackage any brand in those same bags. You forgot the old classic, though. 88 cent Beetle Spins.
I caught my pb this year on a 2dollar chatter bait. 7lber on the dot. They work pretty well

I’m pretty sure the yellow tags are mess ups from yum because the tag is completely different from the actual tags and most of them have different names and colors than what is in I’m the bag. Trust me, I buy those often because they often have plastics that they don’t have on the racks.

Those yellow tagged Yum baits aren't on clearance. Those bags are always that price. They usually are the plastics that have imperfections and usually have a smaller count than the regular bags.

Older video but here northern Idaho strike king bitsy bug jigs are fire give a good sharpening they work great for smallies and largies caught my pb on it 7.1lbs

Use a small ponytail holder to secure the spinner bait skirt.
Norm the first bass I ever caught on artificial baits was a 3 1/2 pounder on a $1 Walmart buzzbait!
used those spinnerbaits all the time, they slay! White/Blue, White Chartreuse paired with those Yum swimbaits baits

Little trick for those cheap spinnerbaits to keep the skirt from falling off a couple little dabs of super glue slide it back on will never come off
