I'm from Lithuania and watched the semi finals juries said that the song is too theatrical and does not fit the vibe for eurovision which is sad that they thought that :( I can see why she didn't get the public appeal because the lyrics are a bit confusing plus we rarely hear any songs like this in Lithuania so this could also be a factor also
EXPLANATION ABOUT RŪTA'S NQ (and more) / Pin please I'm from Lithuania and watched the semi finals Rūta didn't Q because juries said that the song is too theatrical and does not fit the vibe for eurovision which is sad that they thought pick songs this way :( And I can see why she didn't get the public appeal the lyrics are a bit confusing plus we rarely hear any songs like this in Lithuania so this could also be a factor also About Anyanya yes he won The voice of Lithuania, and juries were absolutely #### riding him for that and that's why he Q, yes he has a strong voice, but the song itself is ehhh and if we pick him we gonna get NQ cuz it's nothing special or new
In my understanding, the jury wanted to say that there was too much going on in the performance with no consistency (the mirror, playing with visuals, lying on the floor, off-pitch singing, etc.). Meanwhile, the question in the song is "So where is home?" But neither the lyrics nor the performance clearly convey the message. Whether this type of music resonates in Lithuania or not, you can’t deny that the jury's comments are valid.
too theatrical meanwhile both Loreen and Nemo won eurovision, literal apes.. Lithuania should actually start investing in proper juries first before doing anything in the future editions
I'm not sure if we were listening to the same show. Rūta's' song was most promising, but: 1) lyrics are reality about nothing 2) voice is weak, backing vocals did all the work 3) appearance - no comment 4) staging - poor. All in all - the place that she got was legit. I didn't actually like anyone, but I totally agree with the results.
Ruta's soooo robbed!! Such a pity! Her song is amazing !
RŪTA ROBBED 😭
but happy for anyanya 🥳
juries ruined everything. rūta deserved better.
She wouldn’t have qualified of it was televote only so it was both sides of the votes fault
Can someone explain me why "tai kur namai" didn't make it to the final? I'm so disapointed 😭
Juries being tastless
Remember the public also rejected Ruta
@@benthewheel30 they didn't reject her..... 3rd is not a bad position

My whole top 4 NQed like what 😀😀😀
Ruta and Viktorija were really robbed. I don’t get either of the two finalists? Does Anyanya have Ukrainian roots?
I liked Ruta's song, but the performance was too chaotic, it was no.3 for me. Anyanya and Juste were better, they deserved to qualify 😊
I thought Ruta could qualify for the ESC final!
Not impressed by my country in this one
Same top 2 🥺🥺
Ruta 😢
