You had asked about 1 or 2 thread preference on 36 count- My question is what do you like on an 18 count? I like a 2 strands on 18 and 36. So really, it's whatever your preference is. Then you mentioned the large fill in spots, like the Clean Heart piece, I like to outline with a half stitch so at least I can see the shape that needs to be tackled. Is the heart using a variegated thread? A half stitch would help so that as you go back and forth, you can just cross that outside x and it'll just blend right in. Clear as mud??? Yay, Spring Quaker!!! Got to pull mine out now: ) So fun! Yay crochet! Punchneedle, I'm not sure about either. I did one with yarn last year and it was okay.
